the second hua cheng knew of xie lians location what did he do? he got all dressed up and immediately went to see him. he spent centuries searching for xie lian, not to follow from behind in secret, but to present himself to him in all his ghost king glory and woo the man

Zmarqa is one of my absolute favorite Hualian artists that I found on Twitter and this is just a taste of some of her more recent work.

She writes and draws her own comics of AUs involving them that have so much thought put into them. Her pieces in general are so detailed and you're almost always rewarded for taking the time to really look at them.

Since she's not active here on Tumblr, I would highly recommend following her on Twitter (zmarqa), Twitch (Zmarqaa), or, if you have the spare funds, Patreon (Zmarqa). Her Patreon Discord is full of great folks and she pretty frequently streams on there for patrons, so it is well worth the cost.

Ling Wen is new heavenly emperor and I ensure you she is as overworked as ever, but she does not care about heavenly officials marrying calamities anymore. First was YQY, and then Jun Wu. Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan are really not trendstarters here.

I want cannon divergence where before Qi Rong dies, him and xl make up somehow

Ok, this would probably mess up cannon in ways I currently can't imagine but it's fine because I just want it all to add to one scene

I don't even want them to be close or necessarily on good terms, just to at least be neutral about each other

Nothing really changes except maybe Qi Rong hates Yong'An more and doesn't bad mouth Xie Lian though eventually we get to the scene where Qi Rong is talking about the gilded banquet (sadly were not bringing that up), Hua Cheng is mad, Hualian have a moment. Qi Rong immediately clocks Hua Cheng liking his cousin. Though he takes it almost (if not worse) as bad as Fengqing.

This is probably incomprehensible to done decree but do you guys see where I'm coming from?

I need Qi Rong to look at those two, pull Xie Lian aside (ignore that HC probably wouldn't be ok with this but then again if XL insisted then he wouldn't say anything), and just tell him straight up
