Hi, after our little rant the other day. I am reading through your work. I was wondering if you would do a LITG2 Suresh fic? He could come back from Casa? Up to you if he stayed loyal, also can you include Kat stays loyal but Finn doesn't? 😂

A/N | Thanks for the ask @daisychainsem. I have never written a LI FF before this was fun. I also saw Casa spoilers today where Turtle tattoo girl is in the girls CA, but I wrote this before I knew and I’m not changing it now. Also this was supposed to be a one shot, but I have written a part 2 because Arlo annoyed me in today chapters. I will link onto this ask when I am done writing it. I will tags those who ask.

Summary | The boys trip is over...it’s time to stick or switch!

She stared at herself in the mirror, she felt nervous, her heart hoped he had meant what he said before leaving for Casa Amor, but her gut was telling her, he'd bring someone back.

"Earth to Chloe!" Dana calls over, "huh? Sorry! What?" Dana rolls her eyes, "I said what has you so lost in thought?"

"She's probably wondering if Suresh brought back a Casa girl!" Kat looks over at Chloe, "am I right?" Chloe nods, "Suresh being Suresh, he probably has!" Arlo smugly smirks.

"I don't think he will, he wants to win Chloe back and the only way to show he has change is to stay single!" Dana nudges her, Chloe gives her a grateful smile. She might have a point! Chloe thought.

"What about you ladies? Do you think your lads will stay loyal?" Chloe asks as she checks over her make up one last time. "Finn knows a good thing when he sees it. No Casa girl will measure up to me" Kat finishes straightening her hair, Arlo laughs but Kat ignores her.

Chloe kept the chat her and Finn had before Casa to herself, she couldn't handle any more drama from her.

"Well, Suresh is clearly still into Chloe. If he stays loyal which is doubtful, he hasn't stayed loyal for me" Arlo shrugs, "what do you think?" Arlo spins the sequin dress clings to her body showing off her curves.

"Gorgeous!" Dana smiles up at her, "sizzle, show Suresh what he's missing. No offence Chlo!" Kat smiles over, "None taken!" Chloe starts to look through her wardrobe.

"What about Eddie? Do you think he stayed loyal?" Arlo asks her, but Dana frowns, "I hope he found someone in Casa"

"So you feel less guilty about Jonny?" Kat is as blunt as ever, "she has nothing to feel guilty about, you and Jonny had a better connection and that's not your fault" Chloe reminds her making Dana smile brightly at her.

Chloe pulls out a red dress figure hugging with a plunging neckline and a slit up to her hip bone.

"Whoa, Chlo! Suresh eyes are going to pop out his head!" Dana winks at her, "you are really going to give it ago with Suresh?" Kat asks her for the hundred time, "as I've said before if he hasn't coupled up, then I am willing to give him a second chance" She sprays herself with the perfume he brought her for Christmas, it always drove him wild.

Arlo's phone pings, she reads it out.

Text: Girls, it's time to see if you partners have stayed loyal or if Casa stole their heart. It's time to make your decisions. Please make your way to the fire pit. Good luck. #stickorswitch #whathappensincasadoesntstayincasa

Chloe took a deep breath and looked herself over once more, Arlo was the first to make her way, "right girls. Let's get this show on the road!" Kat grabs Dana's and Chloe's hands pulling them along with her.

Down at the fire pit...

Ping!

"I got a text!"

"Kat, you are up first!" she reads out and gets up from her seat, "the last few days with the Casa boys have been fun and I have never laughed so hard, but saying that there is one boy for me. I can't see anyone else competing with him, I have decided to stick with....Finn!"

"Yayl!" Dana cheers her on, Kat takes a deep breath as she hears footsteps, she looks down at her feet not wanted to see if he did the same, but when her eyes finally land on Finn...he's walking in with a new girl.

"Alright everybody!" he has a cheeky grin on his face until his eyes fall on Kat, who stands there alone. "You brought someone back?!" Kat hissed, he looks to Chloe then down at his feet, "well?" Kat called out to him again.

"Look Kat, I'm sorry, but the connection Gabrielle and I had was undeniable...." he's cut off, but Kat statistically laughing, "wait! Don't I know you?" Gabrielle shrugs, Chloe looks over the tattooed red head, Finn head hangs even more before realization of who she is dawns on Chloe, "you're the girl, Suresh cheated on me with!!"

"Can it get any better? Finn, you've out done yourself!" Kat ran her hands down her face, "you bring back the girl that ruined Chloe's relationship?"

Finn finally looks up, "Gabrielle didn't ruin it! Suresh did! He's the one that was in a relationship!"

"And you ruined what we had!" Kat's eyes glass over, Dana gets up to comfort her, "I'm sorry, Kat!" Finn's voice is almost a whisper, he moves towards the seat around the fire pit sitting as far away from Kat as possible.

Kat takes a deep breath, wiping away her tears and looking straight ahead.

Dana's phone pings, "Dana please stand and make a decision!" Dana reads out, she squeezes Kat's hand before getting up, "this wasn't an easy decision, but I have to put myself first. The Casa boys made me realize what was missing with my couple before and I'm excited to explore where this new connection. I have decided to switch, the boy I'd like to couple up with is....Jonny!" She smiles.

Finn looks up at Dana in shock, then over to Jonny who makes his way over to Dana. He pecks her cheek and they sit next to Kat, Finn looks annoyed. They hear footsteps walking along the wooden decking as she rounds the corner Dana looks up, Eddie comes in....single.

He has a pained expression on his face as he saw Dana had decided to switch, Dana doesn't know what to say, she offers him a soft smile, he returns it, "it is what it is! As long as she's happy!"

He wanders over and takes a seat next to Finn and Gabrielle as Arlo's phone pings, "Arlo have you decided to stick or switch?" she read out, she stood looking over at the Casa boys. "Before Casa I was coupled up with Suresh, but it quickly became clear he wasn't over his ex..." she looks towards Chloe, "...I'm not going to flog a dead horse anymore. I came in here to find love and I'm hoping one boy will help me do that. So, I'd like to switch and the boy I'd like to couple up with is...Nicholas!" Nicholas sighs with relief and takes a seat next to Arlo.

A few moments later Suresh appear from around the corner....single.

His eyes immediately go to Chloe, he smiles, making her smile back. He stayed single! He looks at Arlo with Nicholas and shrugs, he takes a seat next to Eddie. Arlo looks at him, she expected him to say something at least.

Chloe's phone pings, "Chloe will you stick or switch?" she reads out as she stand, "going into Casa Amor I thought maybe I'll meet someone who will knock my socks off, but even with all these new boys charging round the villa there was one boy I couldn't get out of my head. We weren't coupled up when he left, but the fact he came back single shows me, maybe he has changed and deserves a second chance..." she looks over to Suresh, who is grinning ear to ear, "....we still have a lot to talk about. But for me to switch wouldn't be fair on any of you, so I have decided to stick with Alfie!"

Within a few seconds Alfie comes round the corner with a brunette, his face falls when he saw Chloe stood there single, "Chlo...I err, I'm sorry!" he looks down at his feet, the brunette squeezes his hand. Chloe smiles, "Alf, it's fine! I'm glad you found someone!" He looks up and smiles back at her.

"This is Emma by the way!" Emma waves, Chloe smiles back and takes a seat, Alfie and Emma take a seat next to Dana and Nicolas.

"What happens now?" Suresh looks around the group, "wait for it!" Eddie says.

Kat's phone pings, "Kat, Chloe, Suresh and Eddie. You are now single, but not for long, tomorrow night there will be a recoupling. #coupleup #plentymorefishinthesea"

Suresh looks over to Chloe with a smile, the group disburse around the villa, Chloe stays seated, Suresh moves round next to her, "second chance, huh?" He has a cheeky smile on his face, "not if you are going to be all smug about it!" He pretends to be offended.

"No Casa girls caught your eye?" he cups her face and presses his lips to hers, the kiss is electrifying, she can barely catch her breath. Pulling away, she smiles brightly at him, "not one girl came close to you and I wanted to prove to you that I could stay loyal!"

"Talking of loyalty, I saw Finn brought back Gabrielle" he sighed, "I wish he didn't," he looks to her, "have you spoken to her?"

"I did, only to tell her I'm not interested in rehashing the past," he tries to reassure her, "I was going to tell you as soon as I came back, she was in Casa but Finn brought her back before we had a chance to speak"

"You aren't remotely interested in her?" she studies his face, "she's the past, you are my future!" she could help smiling at his words. "Since we are being honest and if we are going to start a fresh, I want the slate wiped clean, no more secrets or lies!"

"Absolutely!" his thumb strokes her cheek, "Before you guys went to Casa Amor, Finn was considering coupling up with me. I kinda didn't have a chance to say anything to you about it because suddenly you were whisked off to Casa"

"Do you want to couple up with him?" his eye bore into her, "when he came in did I? Yes, because I was still mad at you. But the last few days I feel more drawn to you, so no! I do not want to couple up with him" Suresh smirks slightly.

"Chlo?" she looks up to a sheepish Alfie, "could I talk to you?" he asks, Suresh gets up, "come find me when you're done" he winks.

Alfie takes a seat, "look I'm sorry, I didn't know what to do until the last second....I was so confused..." she cuts him off placing a hand on his arm, "Alf, it's fine. I'm happy for you!" he looks relieved, "I just guessed it was best, you've told me so many times we are just friends..."

She stops him again, "Alfie, you don't have to explain yourself"

"You really didn't find anyone, huh?"

"Nah, I know Suresh did what he did, but I just didn't want to settle for someone I don't really like" she shrugs, "you know Suresh turned down every girl in Casa!" she looks at Alfie in shock, "really?" she pinches her brows together.

"Yeah, as soon as they started talking to him, Lulu tried pretty hard, but he pied her off!" inside she did a happy dance, "all I'm saying Chlo is maybe he has learned from his mistake"

"Thanks Alf!" she smiled at him, "Alfie?" Emma called over, "I better go and see what she wants. Thanks for understanding!" He gets up out of his seat and makes his way over to Emma. Chloe follows him to the kitchen where the others are, she could see Eddie gaze solely fixed on Dana and Jonny.

"How you feeling?" she nudges him, he turns to her, "not great if I'm honest, she found someone. I know things were great with us, but I planned to move to the next step and show her how much she means to me"

"Hey, it's still early days yet. It might not work out!" Chloe nudges him, "what about you? You said there was one of the OG boys deserved a second chance, now we are both single why don't we explore our conn..." Chloe holds her hand up to stop him.

"Sorry, Eddie, when you told me at the last recoupling you wanted to focus on Dana. That made me want to focus on what I wanted and in Casa I realised that's Suresh, even with his faults I can't see me getting to know anyone else" she smiles softly at him.

"I get it, I hope it works out for you!" he strolls off to speak to Kat, she watches Kat stare daggers at Finn and Gabrielle until Eddie sat next to her, she tears her gaze away from him when Eddie whispers in her ear.

Later...

The girls are getting ready for bed, "Chloe, could I talk to you?" Gabrielle looks over to her, Chloe huffs, "if it's about the past? I don't care, Suresh and I want to move past it! As long as you don't try anything with him we won't have a problem!" Chloe gets up and rummages through her underwear draw.

She pulls out a black lacy number, "oooh! Who's benefit is that for?" Dana winks over at her, "mine, Suresh and I are starting afresh. But I'm not going to give in, the boy has to work for it," she mischievously smirks as she pulls on the lingerie, "night girls!" she makes her way downstairs to fill her water bottle.

In the kitchen Suresh is making a tea, "hey beautiful" his eyes roam over her, "wow! You look stunning!" his eyes meet hers, "I just came to fill my water bottle before bed"

"I'm not even sure where we sleep?" he pours boiling water into his mug, "I was going to take one of the day beds actually" Chloe smiles filling her bottle.

"Mind if I join you?" he has a cocky smile plastered on his face, "I know I said I want to wipe the slate clean, but I'm not just going to jump back into it, Suresh. I want us to start over, but I'm not going to sleep with you."

"I meant to share a bed and that was all, we can spoon, but I won't push for more!" he stands inches in front of her.

"Promise?"

"On my life!" her eyes flicker between his, "I'll see you there," she moves passed him and gets into the daybed, a few minutes later he climbs in too. "I can't say I haven't missed this, us sharing a bed" a teasing smile appears on his face.

"It is nice, I spent every night in Casa on these daybeds with Kat" Suresh's arm wraps around her, his scent fills the air around her making her think of home. "I can't believe Kat stayed loyal, only for it to backfire" Suresh pulls her tighter to him.

She lays her head against his chest, "I heard you pied off every girl in Casa!" she smugly teases him, "like I said I wanted to prove to you I have changed. I want you back, that's something that hasn't changed" she looks up at him.

His eyes flicker between her, he cups her face, slowly he leans in and the kiss is soft at first. It quickly gets heated, he moves until he's hovering over her, their lips still fused together, her nails rack down his back making him groan. He peppers kisses along her jaw before pressing her lips along her pulse line, "hmmm....Suresh!" she moaned.

She was starting to think the no sex promise was a bad move, he makes his way back up to her lip he kisses her passionately, then pulls away and pulls her into his arms again, "night Chlo!"

"Night Suresh!" her eyes drift as he strokes her hair.....

First Impressions – Suresh POV

TW: Aggressive Sexual Behavior

Suresh closed his eyes and rubbed his temples together with his hands.

“You look like, you could use a drink,” Simon said.

He opened his eyes and his coworker Simon stood at his office doorway.

“This McCarthy case…there’s so much to do,” Suresh said shuffling papers on his oversized mahogany desk.

“Come on, it’s my birthday! We’re going to your favorite bar, The Social, and the McCarthy case will still be waiting for us on Monday.”

“OK, give me 30 minutes, I just want to wrap up a few things here.”

“YES! See you there.”

As Suresh walked into the swanky cocktail bar, he could feel the usual stares and attention that he normally received from women. Two blondes and a brunette sat up a little straighter as he walked past and gave him the tell-tale “bedroom eyes,” he flashed a wide smile at them and made his way over to the bar.

Before he was able to place a drink order the bartender came over and placed a drink in front of him.

“Here you go, Suresh!” said the bartender.

“Tommy, I didn’t order a drink yet,” said Suresh confused.

The bartender then pointed to two girls who were sat on the opposite end of bar. Suresh lifted his glass and mouthed a thank you.

Well I should go over there and thank those two properly then.

“There he is!” Simon shouted excitedly behind him.

Suresh turned around to greet Simon.

“Hey Simon, You know I wouldn’t actually miss your birthday!” He moved closer to Simon and whispered “I have to go thank those two ladies at the other end of the bar for my first drink.”

“Wait! Before you do that, because I know that will take you away all night, come meet my girlfriend, Chloe. She’s at the that table over there with her friend Gemma.” Suresh followed where Simon was motioning and then he saw her. Gemma. An absolutely stunning woman in an emerald green dress, her light brown hair was styled in soft waves that landed right above her breasts. Her tanned legs glistened as she adjusted one leg over the other. She was laughing at something Chloe said, God he loved the way she laughed. Her smile, the way her eyes were crinkling at the sides.

“Suresh?”

“Yeah, yeah. Let’s go meet the girls.” As he walked to their table, he realized he was nervous.

Wait, what just happened? Why is she getting up? Is she leaving? Oh, looks like she’s headed to the toilets. OMG Suresh relax.

“Chloe - this is my friend Suresh! What happened to Gemma?” Simon said.

“Oh, Hey Suresh, pleasure to finally meet you in person! We had a little accident; I spilled a little wine on her, so she went to the bathroom to clean herself off. She’ll be back in just a bit.”

As Suresh sat there making polite conversation with Chloe and Simon, he kept glancing at the door to the bathroom.

Get a grip Suresh. She’s walking to the bar. Now’s my chance to go meet her and buy her a drink. Play it cool. Pretend you don’t know her name.

The bar was much busier than it was when he first arrived, he was relieved to notice the two women that bought him his first drink were now gone. Gemma walked over to the only empty stool at the bar and set her purse on the seat. Even though there were more people now at the bar, it was still only staffed by one overwhelmed bartender, Tommy. Suresh noticed Gemma trying to get his attention a few times but was failing to do so.

“Hey Tommy, can we get the lady here a drink?” he asked.

She turned back to look at him and just nodded and said, “Thank you.”

Suresh flashed her an inviting smile, “My name is Suresh. I couldn’t help but notice you having some trouble from across the room and had to come to the aid of a damsel in distress.”

Gemma rolled her eyes. OOF an eye roll.

“Does that line actually work for you, Suresh?”

Suresh chuckled, “Just trying to show you chivalry is not dead.”

“I’m good, thanks.”

“I think we have some mutual friends. I went to law school with Simon and we’re working at the same law firm now. You were just sat at his table with his girlfriend Chloe, right?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

Before he could ask anything else, Tommy returned with a new glass of wine and placed it in front of Gemma. Suresh went to pull out his wallet to pay and Gemma blocked his hand and said “No, thank you” as she handed the bartender cash.

She grabbed her drink and turned towards him, “I’m not a damsel in distress and I’m perfectly capable of ordering and paying for my own glass of wine.” With a smug look on her face she started to walk back towards the table.

“Hey wait!” Suresh said as she continued to walk without turning back.

“Your purse!” With that she paused. With a self-satisfied smiled on his face, he started to walk towards her and held her bag out to her.

Finally something she wants.

She motioned for him to give it to her, and he swats it out of her reach.

“What are you doing? Give me back my bag.”

“I will gladly hand over your purse for your name,” he says smiling.

She rolls her eyes. ANOTHER EYE ROLL.

“Gemma” and she motioned for him to give her, her bag back.

“Gemma, Gem, lovely name. Can I ask you Gemma, why do you hate me so much when we’ve only just met?”

She sighs. “I don’t hate you, Suresh. I’ve just seen guys like you all the time. You think by buying me a drink tonight, you’re entitled to more from me. Unfortunately for you, I don’t have hot lawyer guy on my hookup bingo card tonight.” She grabs her purse from his hand and starts to walk back to her friends.

“So, you think, I’m hot then?” he smiles.

She looks back at him, rolls her eyes and walks off.

Third eye roll. She’s driving me mad with these eye rolls.

He watches as she makes her way back to the table and chats with Chloe who makes her laugh. God, I love that laugh.

Simon walks over to Suresh with a smirk on his face. “It’s not every day you see Edinburgh’s Most Eligible Bachelor strike out!”

“I didn’t strike out with Gemma,” Suresh said.

“What would you call that then?” asked Simon.

“Just a first impression.”

One week later…

“Fuck! I’m going to be late!” Simon said as he starts to gather the file boxes he was working with on the floor of Suresh’s office. “Can we finish the McCarthy file on Monday?” As he hurries to grab his coat.

“Yes, that’s fine. Mate where’s the fire?” Suresh said.

“It’s Chloe’s birthday! It’s at this club all the way downtown and with the traffic I’m going to be so late!”

“Wait will Gemma be there?”

“Yes of course… mate you’re not seriously thinking of pursuing her when she shot you down royally last time, we saw her.”

“She didn’t shoot me down. I already told you; it was a first impression. I don’t care I’m coming with you. What’s the name of the club? I’ll meet you there.”

Suresh and Simon walk into the swanky nightclub, Becky Hill’s “Crazy What Love Can Do” thumps in the background as revelers start to dance as the bass drops. While Suresh scans the club looking for Gemma but doesn’t spot her, Simon sends Chloe a text.

“Let’s get a drink while we wait for Chloe to text me back,” Simon says as he motions towards the bar.

Suresh leads the way, still scanning the club for any sight of Gemma. It’s her best friends birthday she’d be on time for that right?

“Two double scotch, please” he says to the blonde bombshell bartender.

“Who’s the other one for?” She asks.

Suresh points to Simon who’s just a few feet away but can’t hear the exchange.

“How about I give you boys these drinks for free in exchange for your number?” She sexily leans forward towards Suresh’s face.

“I’m flattered but I can’t we both have girlfriends.” Both? Only one of us has a girlfriend. And you’re not one of them.

“First one is still on the house because you’re a loyal boyfriend, and those are too rare.”

He thanks her as he takes the drinks and walks back over to Simon. Fuck I’m an absolute idiot right now. I’m rejecting girls’ advances and Gemma seems to want absolutely nothing from me.

“I’ve found the girls! Chloe!” He shouts over the music.

And that’s when he sees her, she looks stunning in a red dress that hugs every curve. Her long, soft wavy hair bounces as she dances along to the beat. She has a slight sheen from dancing with her friends. As they walk closer, he and Gemma make eye contact and he gives her a small smile.

He’s still about 7 paces away when a guy comes up behind her and tries to dance with her. Gemma gives him a polite no, but he keeps gyrating on her. She starts to push him away, but he becomes more forceful and grabs her back to him. Suresh runs over and with one hand pushes Gemma’s aggressive dance partner away. He stumbles backwards in a drunken stupor and falls on some people on the dance floor. The drunken idiot tries to come back to confront them but Suresh gives him a look that makes him put his hands up and walk away.

He looks back to Gemma, who’s fixing her dress but clearly shaken up.

“Are you ok?” He asks as he searches for the answer in her eyes.

“I’m fine Suresh, I was handling it,” she snaps.

“Are you serious right now? Even when I try to help you, you still have to keep up the ice queen act?”

“Ice queen act? You want a medal for helping with what? Pushing a drunken loser off of me? I’ve already told you, I’m not a damsel in distress, I can take care of myself Suresh.”

“Great, I’ll leave you to it then,” he storms away from her and heads towards the bar.

Suresh didn’t understand how he could be so infuriated by someone but still feel what could only be stirrings of something more. He hated to admit it, but Simon was right, this was now his second strike out with her. She was clearly not interested in him. He wasn’t a gambling man, better to cut his losses now when his heart wasn’t attached. The bar was much busier then when they first arrived, and the cute bartender was taking her sweet time now that she knew he wasn’t an available prospect. Why am I still even here? It’s Simon’s girlfriend’s birthday. I barely know Chloe.

As he leaned his back on the bar looking at the dance floor, he saw her again. She shouted something over the music and her friends just gave her a thumbs up and continued to dance to the music. As Gemma walked through the throngs of people, Suresh noticed that he wasn’t the only one watching her. In the distance and much closer to her was the drunk stranger who tried to dance with her earlier. He pointed at her and high fived his friends as he started following her. It seemed he had something much more sinister in store for Gemma then their dance earlier.

“Gemma!!” Suresh screamed.

“GEMMA!”

It was no use. The music was too loud. There were too many people. Suresh’s heart began to burst out of his chest, he pushed through people a little harder than he should’ve, but he had to get to her. He had to save Gemma.

“No!” he heard her scream.

He ran down the long, dark hallway to the bathrooms.

Gemma.

Suresh rushed through the door. Anger coursing through every inch of his body. How dare this drunken loser try to touch Gemma without her consent not once but twice in one evening. Suresh runs in and easily overpowers the drunk stranger and punches him across the jaw. The drunk guy groans on the floor, Suresh wants to break every bone in his body for even thinking of touching Gemma, but he doesn’t want to scare her. He takes off his suit jacket and drapes it over shoulders, her dress strap has ripped and Gemma’s now holding one side up. He grabs her bag and holds her close as they walk through the throngs of happy club goers.

As they exit the club, the overwhelming emotions of everything that just happened come rushing out of her and she starts to cry.

He stops walking and hugs her close to him. He rests his chin on the top of her head as he strokes her hair and says “It’s ok Gemma. I’ve got you, you’re safe.”

She’s safe.

“Come on, let’s get you home,” he says.

He holds her tight as they walk to his car, he opens her door for her, and she hesitates.

She doesn’t even know you. She’s not going to want to get in the car with you.

“Gemma, I’m not trying to hurt you, I just want to take you home.”

And for the first time Suresh actually felt she believed him. He looked into her striking green eyes and she immediately softened, gave him a smile and got into his car.

She gave him her address and he input it into his car’s GPS.

“Thank you. If it weren’t for you, tonight could’ve …” She trails off but Suresh knows what she’s thinking.

“You don’t need to thank me. You’re safe now and that’s all that matters.” Suresh goes to take her hand in his and she grabs his hand in return, but when she does, he winces.

“Omg Suresh, your hand.”

As he looks down his knuckles are bleeding, and his hand looks swollen.

“It’s fine, Gemma. I’m ok.” She gently cradles his hand to take a closer look and he winces again.

“No, Suresh this looks really bad. We’re less than a minute away from my apartment. I’ll take care of it for you. You’re not going to be able to do it yourself with one hand.”

With that he agrees. As they arrive at her flat, he swings around to her side of the car to open the door and help her out of the car.

Her building is a two story home that was converted into two apartments. As she opens the door to let him in, he steps into a small foyer that leads him two separate ways he can see to the left is the living room and straight forward is a hallway that leads to the kitchen. The apartment is small but cozy and tidy. She leads him into the kitchen, and he sits at a small table waiting for his “nurse” to cure him.

She moves methodically throughout her apartment to get everything he needs. On her fridge she has pictures of her smiling with friends on holidays, birthday parties and hen nights. She returns with a first aid kit.

“Ok you’re not going to like this part, but we need to do it.”

He grimaces as she says “Up! To the sink! We need to clean the cuts.”

As she cleans his hand he winces “ahh!! AH! ah!”

“Oh, don’t be such a baby!” she laughs.

Suresh holds his breath while he lets her clean his hand. She bandages it with ease and the care of a nurse or doctor.

“Are you a nurse, then?” He asks.

Gemma giggles and says “No, I just have a younger brother” she turns to her refrigerator and pokes around until she finds it, a bag of frozen peas. She gently places it on his bandaged hand. “Come with me.”

She leads him to the living room with the peas in hand, and points to her couch. “Sit. Leave this on for at least 20 minutes. I need to shower this night off of me. Don’t poke around, I’ll be right back to check on you.”

Suresh smiles a half smile “thank you.”

In the living room, he noticed a few framed photos one at Christmas with what looked to be her parents and her brother, the family all smiling around a gorgeous, lush tree. Another with her best friend Chloe on a vacation, where she looked tanned and absolutely stunning. The third seemed to be her at graduation but before he could take a closer look she shouted in the hallway “I said no poking! Just lay on the couch!”

“You’re no fun!” He shouted back. He smirked as he headed back to the couch.

Gemma. I’m in Gemma’s flat. I know there’s something here. We have a connection. I feel it.

He wasn’t sure if it was the emotionally charged night or the fight, but he felt drained. He struggled to keep his eyes open and within minutes he fell into a deep sleep.

Suresh awoke with a throbbing pain in his hand, and a sense of panic of when you first wake up in an unfamiliar place. He noticed she covered him with a blanket and took off his shoes, he smiled thinking of her struggling to lift his legs onto the couch. He checked his phone 8:58AM.

He considered two thoughts, the first being his usual and most consistent thought in relationships or as he affectionately termed them, situationships, leave. This girl has shown zero interest in him, has pushed him away at every turn, and clearly doesn’t want to be with him. And the second thought being what If he just stayed a bit longer, she had a hard night and maybe she needs company. Maybe he could cook her breakfast or make her a coffee. There was something different about Gemma, she was special. She wasn’t going to ever take his shit and he wanted to show her and prove to her that he could be a great guy for her.

That’s when he decided to go for the latter option. He got up and headed to her kitchen. He looked in the fridge and grabbed a few things eggs, toast, butter, jam and some bacon. He started the coffee pot while he quietly cooked them breakfast.

“What are you doing?” Gemma asked sleepily as she entered the kitchen.

“Morning Gemma, thought I’d reciprocate your nursing with some breakfast” he said with his back to her.

As he turned to her, Gemma lazily smiled at him. She gathered her hair away from her face and put it in a top knot. A few strands of hair fell close to her face. She was wearing a weathered band T-shirt with a band name that was barely visible from so many washes, too big, grey sweatpants, but his chest felt tight with want when he saw her.

“Do you need help?”

“Maybe you can grab plates, forks, knives, and mugs for the coffee? I couldn’t find your milk either.”

“I don’t have milk,” she shrugs. “I normally just drink it black with two sugars”

“What!? How do you not have milk?”

“All of this outrage for some milk?” She laughs as she grabs everything he’s asked for.

Her laughter is infectious and makes Suresh laugh as he plates their breakfast. He hands her a plate, and they head to the table to eat.

Gemma took her first bite and looked at him surprised. “This is actually decent.”

“Decent?” He scoffed as he took a bite, “it’s delicious!”

“I wouldn’t go that far,” she winked.

“So, you’re not a nurse, you’re not a lawyer, what do you do for work?” He asks

“Why would you assume I’m not a lawyer?”

“I asked Simon at his birthday”

“So, you’ve been asking about me?”

He laughs “I guess you could say that, but I haven’t had much luck. All Simon said was ‘to be fair mate I have no bloody idea’”

She laughs at his imitation of Simon.

“I’m a marketing manager at a record label.”

“Wow that’s a much cooler job than lawyer. Can you sing?”

“Now that would be telling!”

“Come on please, let’s hear a note!”

“Maybe some other time Suresh.” She gets up and starts clearing their empty plates and mugs.

“So you’re saying there will be another time then?”

She places the dirty dishes in the sink and turns to face him. She pretends to be thinking it over and she smiles.

“I guess so”

Suresh beams at her and screams “YES!”

Gemma giggles. Her laughter is interrupted by a call coming from his phone still in the living room. He gets up to retrieve it and he pokes his head back in the kitchen and says “Sorry, it’s my Boss. Let me call him back.”

“Hey James! Sorry I missed your call.” Pause “Yes I’m actually working on the McCarthy file as we speak, I should be able to send you a first pass in a few hours.” Pause. “It’s not trouble at all! Talk soon.”

FUCK.FUCK.FUCK I need to call Simon ASAP. We’re going to need to get these done ASAP.

Suresh runs back to the kitchen.

“Work calls on a Saturday! And lying to the boss!” She giggles.

“Hey! That was a private conversation! And anyways, I have most of it completed.”

Liar.

“I’m just teasing you, but I won’t hold you up any longer.”

Suresh…you really have to go. But her giggle.

“I can help you with the dishes and leave after that,” he offers.

Washing dishes will take no time. McCarthy. Promotion. Raise.

“No, it’s alright I got them.”

Why can’t you just leave. You have so much work to do.

“They’ll take no time at all! Let me help you.” He starts to grab the pans from the stovetop.

“You wash, I’ll dry?”

He smiles at her, “Perfect”

This feels so normal.

They wash the dishes in a comfortable silence, each relishing these quiet moments together. Neither wanting the moment to end. Their hands and arms graze a few times as they wash and dry. He hands her the last pan, “See! I told you it would take no time.”

She smiles, “Thank you”

He smiles back at her, dries off his hands and heads into the living room to grab his things. Suresh heads to the door and Gemma follows closely behind him. He turns around to face her. “Thank you for letting me unintentionally stay the night and for nursing me back to health” he smiles and holds out his arms to hug her goodbye. Gemma happily melts into his arms and savors these little moments. The hug lingers on for a bit longer than it should.

“See you later, Gem.” He walks down the steps and heads towards his car.

SHIT. Her number… I didn’t get her number.

Suresh runs all the way back up her drive and up the stairs, he urgently knocks on the door until she answers, clearly out of breath.

“Did you forget something?” she says as she opens the door.

“Yes. Your number.” As he hands her his phone with a contact card already open for her. She adds it into his phone and hands it back to him.

“I’ll call you” he said smiling as he turned back towards his car.

Suresh bounded down the stairs positively giddy. He’d never felt this way before. He texted her his name so she could save his contact.

S: Suresh

G: Gemma

S: Somehow this is still going better then when I first tried to get your name.

Over the next few days, they spoke constantly. They spoke about anything and everything and Suresh knew he was falling for her. He made a habit of calling her on his lunch break daily and they would eat lunch together over the phone. He would sit outside on the benches outside his large office building. It was becoming his favorite part of the day. Today he tried texting and calling her, and she didn’t answer.

S: Good morning beautiful

S: got a coffee a la gemma today and I hated it. #justice4milk

S: hey u ok?

S: you missed our lunch date and you’re ghosting me now?

S: did I bore you with all my deposition talk yesterday?

….

No response.

He quietly ate his salad and for the first time he really missed her. Today was the day he was going to finally ask her out on a proper date. They’ve been talking all week daily, for hours on end and they were so compatible.

Did I say something to set her off yesterday?

He checked his phone again, no calls, no texts. The only notification was a calendar reminder for a meeting in 30 minutes.

He walked by Simon’s office, he was on a Facetime call and he recognized the voice, it was Chloe. Suresh ran in. “Hey Chloe!”

Simon looked at him confused.

“Hey Suresh!! How are you?” Chloe beamed.

“I’m good, I was just wondering if you had heard from Gemma today.”

With this Simon seemed to understand why Suresh had a sudden interest in talking to his girlfriend and he smirked.

“Actually, now that you mention it, no I haven’t heard from her all day…should I tell her you were asking about her?”

“Oh no its ok! I’ll tell her myself! Sorry to bother.” And with that Suresh rushed out of the office.

What am I doing?

Suresh’s day dragged on. Minutes seemed to take hours, hours seemed to take days. He checked his phone every 5 minutes for there to be no notifications from her.

As he packed up for the day her name light up his screen. Gemma.

He answered within the first ring.

“Gemma! What happened to you today?”

“I’m sorry, I was late for work this morning because I spent the night talking to a certain someone and I forgot my phone charging at home.”

He laughs. “Whew, I got concerned there for a second. But it did make me miss you a lot. I need to see you. Are you free tomorrow for dinner?”

Gemma smiles wide, “Yeah I can do dinner.”

“It’s a date then,” he says.

Two bells chimed as he entered the flower shop. The smell of all of the various flower arrangements hit him all at once. The shop keeper greeted him “How can I help ya, deary!”

“I’ve got a first date tonight that I need to impress,” Suresh said smiling.

“Ahh, this might be your last first date ya know! I’ve got a feeling about these types of things.”

She shuffled to the back and came out with a beautiful, large bouquet of flowers, in an ornate glass vase.

“How’s this for ya last first date?” she said smiling.

“I think that’ll do just fine.”

Suresh walked up her drive and up her steps and realized he was nervous. Gemma made him feel things he’d never felt before. He’d never had a girlfriend before, Suresh wasn’t the committing type and after three weeks of knowing Gemma, he already knew he wanted her to be his girlfriend. They hadn’t even kissed yet. He hoped tonight that would change, but he would follow her pace.

Three soft knocks. He could hear her rushing to the door.

She’s as excited as I am.

“WOW, Gem you look absolutely stunning. These are for you,” he said as he handed her a large bouquet of flowers. “They’re beautiful, thank you,” she said smiling at him as she placed the vase on her front entryway table.

“Let’s go then,” he said as he held out his hand for her.

As they arrive at the restaurant, Suresh can’t take his eyes off of Gemma. She looks absolutely stunning tonight. He can’t believe that this “dream girl” is actually with him tonight. Suresh checks in with the hostess and she leads them to their table. Their date is what anyone would classify as a perfect first date, they talked about their families, their travels, their hobbies & interests and discovered that they enjoyed a lot of the same things.

“Should we order dessert?” Suresh asked. Anything to keep the date from ending.

“The chocolate raspberry tart looks good,” Gemma said.

Suresh smiles as he closes his menu, “that’s exactly what I wanted too. Let’s do that and two glasses of champagne.”

When their order arrives, Suresh looks at her and says, “ladies first.”

Gemma rolls her eyes.

“Not this again,” she laughs but takes her first bite.

Suresh laughs, “See this is what you get for being difficult. You’ve got chocolate on your face now. Come here I’ll help you, so you don’t make a bigger mess.”

Gemma scoots closer to the table and leans over it, Suresh leans over too and starts to wipe away the chocolate. While he still holds her cheek, they stare into each other’s eyes. Gemma looks down at his lips Suresh wonders if she’s thinking about kissing him.

Not wanting to waste a second longer she leans over the table and kisses him. The kiss starts off slow and tender but soon their want and need take over. She hears something crash around them but doesn’t stop to check what it is. The table next to them audibly gasps, annoyed at the display. But they can’t seem to part from the electricity of the kiss.

Suresh hears someone clearing his throat loudly. Gemma finally parts from Suresh, she’s flushed and they’re both out of breath, her skirt has hitched up a bit, so she smooths it back down. The waiter has also noticed Gemma’s skirt and is visibly blushing and flustered.

“I know it was an accident, but please don’t cause any more trouble,” the waiter says as he drops the check and walks away with the broken glass from the champagne flutes.

Suresh looks at Gemma and they start to laugh. When they finally stop laughing, he reaches for her hand across the table and fondly smiles at her. Suresh kept thinking about what the shop keeper at the flower shop said that afternoon. “This might be your last first date ya know.” And he believed her. Because he couldn’t imagine wanting anyone in the world more than he wanted Gemma right now.

“Should we get out of here?” she asked.

“Thought you’d never ask,” he said smiling.

MultiCrossover- An invasion is going to happen, can the supernatural save it. As she collided with him, their impact could have been heard for miles. He an immovable object and her an unstoppable force, love and lust colliding as one. Their passion could last days or weeks at a time. This was the only time that he could let go of his emotions. Suck at intros.

This fic includes a lot of different fandoms. I have not come accross many that uses more than three fandoms. In the beginning things will jump around as I introduce the different character. Hopefully I can get them to blend without too much difficulty. One way to think of this is as a soap opera or TV show that has many characters in it.
