OOOOHH RITSU. RITSU!! It's been a while since i got a chance to be insane abt him, it's so obvious to anyone familiar with my mp100 hyperfixation that he's my second fave lol I always feel like he's the kind of character I'd struggle writing, there is so much to him that I'd want to study under a microscope forever to truely understand the depths of his really well-written character. But aside from the edge-lord sasuke-wannabe that surfaces ( and takes over most of the fanon portrayals, mind you ), I think Ritsu is such a loving boy who has been so troubled for a really, Really long time, and has managed to hide it all so well from everyone, and that last fact on its own is so tragic to me. I instantly felt so much sympathy for him, to constantly be in such pain & turmoil and still feel the need to hide your problems, from your schoolmates, from your siblings, from your parents, I think these are things a lot of people can relate to, including myself. It was mostly fear that made Ritsu hide all that time, and it's so fascinating to see how his spiral during big cleanup arc is just all the negative emotions that had been rotting him from within finally reaching the surface. And all of this rotting has shaped him into this "perfect" boy who tries to make up for some sort of lacking that no one besides himself seems to understand. Ritsu is literally one of the top ten students in all of fucking Japan and he doesn't give a damn about it, because in his world his brother & the things his brother can do has been his biggest aspirations, his brightest dreams! his worst nightmares! and if he can't do that, then what use are his achievements ? what to make of himself & every single thing about him that's so plain & powerless ? what is so wrong about him that stops him from being like his brother ? his frustrations and fears are literally so visceral istg it was sO CONCERNING to watch.

And between his trauma/fear and his imposter syndrome & trying to be the brother who makes up for whatever the other brother doesn't have ( perfect grades, perfect records, perfect reputation, perfect looks ) Ritsu never really lived normally despite being THE normal one of two, but it's been him & his isolation & all the horrors for so long!! That's why when he realizes & decides he wants to have fun in life I just kind of burst to tears ??? no more fear no more facades no more lies no more unspoken unbearable suffering killing him slowly !!!

Aside from me just wanting to cry forever over him, if u want any salt on the fandom I think everyone shld look a liiittle past the emoboy who's just there to look pretty & be sad- and try to find the kid who trusts & loves his brother so much & helps his mother do the dishes & likes to watch dramas & goes with his bestie on fishing becuz he doesn't like loud places. he also studies because he genuinely thinks it's fun. isn't he weird ??? isn't he so sweet when you think abt it ????

Kel, Night and Blakechu — great trinity

A brief description of:

Kel is a kind girl who likes to bake sweets. If you make her angry, she can hit her in the head. Always helpful and giving advice.

Night is an inventive genius who can make an invention out of any shit and sticks. Quite self-confident, likes to play pranks on his friends, and also makes himself out to be cool. Blakechu often trolls over the fact that he is taller than him, although he is 4 years older than Night.

Blakechu has gone from emoboy to softboy, spends most of his free time hanging out with friends, reading books from other hobbies. Became more or less sociable.

Archie: Don’t misunderstand me, I love Archie, but if we went to the same school I probably wouldn’t really give a crap about him. He’d just be some random hot football player who’s kinda nice. 

Betty: If you asked me what I thought about Betty I would probably just say “She’s smart and nice I guess. Don’t really know her,” and that would be it. Wouldn’t really care that much about her. 

Veronica: I’d think she was really cool and hot. I’d have a bit of a crush on her, but we would not really be friends. Though I would definitely stand by her and take her side when that whole thing with her parents went down and Josie and Ethel handed out those flyers and Ethel threw the milkshake on her. I could see me consoling her or telling her that I’m on her side and she would appreciate it and we would kinda become friends a bit after that. 

Jughead: To be honest, I wouldn’t like him. I’d think he was annoying and pretentious, and just too much of an emoboi for me to handle. I’d feel sorry for him when his dad was arrested, but I still wouldn’t like him. I would like his hat though.

Cheryl: I’d feel sorry for her when Jason died, but I don’t know if I’d like her. I’d probably tell her I’m sorry and wish her the best when that happened, but besides that, I wouldn’t care that much. I would, though, gain more respect for her when she came out as a lesbian and started the LGBTQIA+ club. Don’t know if I’d join it though. 

Kevin: We’d be acquaintances at best. Like we’d probably talk in bio, bond a bit over our love of theatre and smile at each other on the hallways, but that would be it. 

Josie: I would respect her a lot, and think she’s really cool and talented, but we wouldn’t talk. She probably wouldn’t know who I am. 

Reggie: I probably wouldn’t like him. I’d see him bully people (like Jughead) and tell him off sometimes. He’d just reenforce my stereotype about jocks. 

Ethel: I would like her, We wouldn’t be close friends but we’d probably share one class where we didn’t know anyone else so we’d sit next to each other and talk. We would smile at each other in the hallways but that’s it. 

Fangs: Since I would probably attend Riverdale High I think I would take an interest in Fangs when the Serpents transferred there, and try and befriend him. I would probably succeed, so we would be friends. Especially since I’m a theatre kid and he helped during Carrie the Musical. Our friendship would probably consist of just quoting Mean Girls back and forth.  

Sweet pea: Since I’m already friends with Fangs I would try and befriend Sweet pea in that way. I would defiantly take an interest in him and want to be his friend, but he would not like me. I would just be Fangs’ “weird northsider friend” to him. I would probably develop a huge crush on him and desperately attempt to become his friend, but there’s no way he would like me back. It would be a mess. 

Toni: I’d think she was really cool and probably become friends with her through Fangs. Not super close, though, but we hang out sometimes. I’d maybe have a bit of a crush on her in the beginning, but that would fade since I would ship her and Cheryl so much.
