Hello Aren jsyk I went swimming for the first time in a While and despite being the kid they had to drag out of the hotel swimming pool on holidays, a solid 10% of my thoughts were 'wow I'm swimming just like aren devilfruitdyke'

NO FUCKING WAY because today i saw something for exactly 6 euros and i was like damn this reminds me of 6 euro axel of the dullahandyke blog. i should tell eimear about this when i get home

choco... there's no way honey boy is fun and flirty concept because it played with my heart A LOT, like, i always cry when i read it, especially the part "i'm still learning about myself everyday" beacause it reassures me whenever i made choices that i regret. that's why i've been procrastinating to read her because i know her is heavier overall and just like you said, i need to be in a certain mood and condition to read it (or maybe i just can't handle too much emotions 😔)

you don’t think it’s fun and flirty? 😭 it definitely has a lighter tone in comparison to her and the character dilemmas are pretty surface lvl (ie: i didn’t go into them too deeply but the message was still impactful!)

Weekend reset ✩°｡⋆⸜ 🎧

• Full skincare routine. Face lift massager, pumpkin seed oil, aloe vera mist, retinol eye masks, rose face mask. <333 🌸🪷

• Energy cleansing music. I always enjoy singing bowls and cleansing music to rid me of the week’s stress. (Singing bowls are great, but Sade and Jhené Aiko basically do the same thing too)

• Swimming. Personally, I find water very cleansing and rejuvenating. You can also take a long bath/shower, and fully visualize yourself being cleansed. 🏊‍♀️

• Lots of greens and nutrients + protein. Eating good food makes me feel good, simple as that. I am able to really enjoy and appreciate my food on weekends, which I love. I get to make all of my favourite little treats and nice big meals, love it. 🙏🙏🙏

• Clean room = full declutter session. I can’t stand having a messy room (yet I do, and I usually don’t do anything about it for the whole week). So anywayyyy the weekend is great because I can make sure everything is organized and clean + I feel so good when I declutter.

• Deep meditation and mindfulness exercises. Put on a guided meditation or some simple meditation music and clear your mind. Breathe. It may seem small, but this is a huge act of self love! Taking time out of your busy day to sit and breathe with yourself, amazing. 🧘‍♀️

• Read/write. Writing is an excellent creative outlet. You can let go of all your worries and stresses on paper (love my journal). Or you can write about all the amazing things in your life that make you happy! (All I write about honestly, I can’t help that I love my life so much!)

• Deep stretch and good workout. Your body will thank you for stretching out all your knots and tight muscles. Long workout sessions where you can focus on yourself are the besttttt 💪🤞🏋️‍♀️

Favorite things about Summer

Haley - sunshine 🌞 and working on a tan 🤎 and stunning sunsets for her photography 🌅 and splurging on ice cream 🍦

Alex - working out in the warm air 💪 and girls on the beach ⛱️ in bikinis 👙 and grilling burgers on the barbecue 🍔

Harvey - loosening his ties 👔 a bit and enjoying summer wines🍷 and the smell of sunscreen 🧴

Maru - stargazing 🌟 and calibrating her telescope 🔭

Sebastian - night rides to cool off 🏍 and the sound of happy frogs 🐸

Abigail - exploring the caves 🪨 and swimming 🏊‍♀️ in the mountain ⛰️ lakes

Penny - summer reading 📚 all those steamy paperbacks (a girl can dream) and warm weather ☀️ and the pretty trees 🌳 up near the spa

Sam - surfing 🏄‍♂️ skateboarding 🛹 swimming 🏊‍♂️ no more spring allergies! ☺️

Shane - finally justified in wearing shorts 🩳 (and he might even wear flip flops 🩴and egg salad sandwiches (fresh from the coop) 🥚 and hot pepper chutney 🌶 for picnics

Emily - visits from her good friends 🦜 dancing to island music at the luau 🏝

Elliott - is that a crab 🦀 in your pocket? 😳 Beach bonfires 🔥 and grilling fish 🐟 on the sands. Long days to contemplate ideas for his stories. ✍️ sunbeams and seashells 🌊 🐚

Leah - foraging for summer berries 🍓 and she's also a fan of summer wines 🍷 and salads 🥗 soft breezes and wispy clouds ☁️ and the sweet smell of nectar 🍯

First challenge of 2024 achieved .. successfully completed my first triathlon today for breast cancer which was a medium length course 🏊‍♀️ 🚴‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ with a total time of 46 minutes .. yay ….

I didn’t drown during the swim .. didn’t fall off during the ride .. and .. I didn’t injure my ankle during the run .. winning in my own mind here 😝 .. although I did see there was a few injuries along the way ….

I thought about this challenge at the end of last year and it’s something I have never done before .. I didn’t do as much preparation as I would have liked to 😝 …. Like most things in life for me .. the most important thing is to have a go …. Never limit your challenges .. always challenge your limits ….

Let’s see what else 2024 has waiting for me …..
