Honestly, I'd love to see Dinger win it. Wouldn't be too mad with Gisbergen winning it again though. As for Cup, I'm hoping that Blaney or Elliott get it. I'd also love to see Wallace win it.

I always find it funny when fans of specific players have homophobic things to say about anything remotely gay or "woke" seeming when their favorite player 9 times out of 10 seems to have gay "allegations" and stories about their alleged lgbtness. It gives such internalized homophobia from the person yelling at you but also it's ironic when the players they stan themselves are possibly bi, etc. Like it's always some 22 year old bro with a mullet from Regina calling me a slur when his favorite player has multiple people saying very specific details about situations lmao. Thoughts?

FOR REAL! Like I'll be honest, I try not to speculate on player's sexualities, but it genuinely would not surprise me if a good majority of them were gay, bi or pan. Heck, I have a feeling that there's a few players out there that might even be ace or aro. Like dude, your favorite player is probably queer.

2 - Favorite Player: Either Oshie or Tarasenko. Tarasenko was the one who got me into hockey and Oshie... well he just gives off pure chaotic energy and I just love him. Honorable mentions go to Crosby, Fleury, Kyrou and Debrincat. 3 - Favorite Rivalry: Bit biased but I'll have to go with Penguins vs Caps. Hawks vs Blues comes close though (in fact that one used to be my favorite but tbh ever since the dynasty core faded away it's kinda died out. Maybe with Bedard and Dvorsky around...). Other honorable mentions go to The Battle of Alberta and The Battle of Florida! 25 - Favorite Rookie: Speaking of whom, Connor Bedard! I can't explain it but he just seems... kinda silly lol. Honorable mention goes to Ivan Miroshnichenko (idk if he counts as a rookie since he's been with the caps for a bit, but he didn't make his NHL debut until this season so im mentioning him anyway).

What player do you like? I think I saw something about Patrick Kane

too many to list out, but some of my favorites are oshie, tarasenko, kyrou, flower (marc-andre fleury) and tbh bedard and marchand have been growing on me a little too. Kane is someone I have more (albeit extremely obsessive) love-hate feelings about (and admittedly it is hell lmfao). On one hand, he's a great player and he's *kinda* hot (in my personal opinion anyway!). On the other hand... he's just another human being, and like every other human being, he has some issues; his character definitely has some problems (has he changed since then? probably, but you never know with athletes and other celebs)

regarding ur nhlpa post, there's a book about the batshit story of a former nhlpa president Alan Eagleson, called Game Misconduct by Russ Conway, and i haven't read it yet but I've read excerpts my friends sent me and its absolutely insane. 10/10.
