I finally redrew a clean version of my An Xiao fandesign! I need more people to understand that he looks like that and I'm right..

While my fandesigns are generally based on casual but modern fashion - my main idea for them being that that, inspired by Dreamtonics' wanted simplicity, they'd wear simple clothing so that users could easily change them out of it or add to it - with An Xiao I'm saying fuck you, Gakupo inspired.

I wanted to design a modern young woman, referencing Chinese fashion. While I tried to remain in the casual realm, I probably leaned a little too much into fashionable, but oh well! I think they did a great job of portraying her as a young adult, but with a mature look nonetheless ヽ(✿ﾟ▽ﾟ)ノ

cyber diva is an english synth, released in 2015. her vp is Jenny shima. she doesn't have a character mascot in an attempt to seem more professional. cyber diva was developed by Yamaha and the model in the stock image is wearing Yamaha headphones. cyber diva is vy3 (third in line after vy1/ mizki and vy2/ Yuma). she got a v5 update on 12 jul 2018, and is also available on the mobile voclaoid editor

Kevin was developed by dreamtonics, and released in 2022. his vp has not been revealed, nor has the illustrator of his box art. while kevin doesnt have an official character mascot, there is a very popular fandesign, called Mr Kevin synthv, created by ivylare. it presents kevin as a little stick figure with brown hair, headphones, and a green shirt featuring the triforce from the ledgend of zelda series. this is Kevin's most popular fan design and is basically inseparable from the vb, and was even featured in mixu expo. however there are a lot of other popular kevin designs too

ryo was also developed by dreamtonics and released in 2022, and his vp and illustrator have also not been revealed. ryo too does not have an official character mascot, and ivylare does have a very popular design for him, but from what ive seen theres a lot more variety in ryo designs and ivylares isnt so much "the one", like in kevins case

Meet my fandesign of Mai from SynthV!

According to her official product description, her voice works best for jpop and dance music! I tried to lean into that while designing her, and also took inspiration from other Mai fandesigns I've seen around. I imagine her as very enthusiastic, but also airheaded and a little bit ditzy (but I also haven't exactly thought about her actual personality very much lol)

A very special thanks to my friends who let me bounce ideas off them and practically drooled over the entire process, as well as to the friend who said her hair has "yogurt vibes" because I'll never unsee that.

Hello! Seen that Yuuma design discussion was coming, so.. i decided to insert my coin.

In my honest opinion, AI VOICE V.Y. Project Yuuma's design is not so mesmerizing, as VOCALOID official (Wakizashi) and famous fandesign (Roro 66) are more recognizable and iconic. They don't have to be laughed on, as if those were in the past.

P.S. You are nice artist, and it hurts to see that you have almost fallen to the level of those who say that "VOCALOID is dead. long live CEVIO, AI VOICE and SynthV!!11!". And for better understanding my point, recommend you to google "VY2" - results may like you.

oh no tumblr user the dragon girl 27 made one (1) meme about a vocaloid getting ported to a different software im sure that means she thinks vocaloid is dead and hates vocaloids

also outside of that post and this one kafu drawing (with miku in it), this Maki doodle and some of the characters in the background of this one frame of this one fanmade mv i made, I have never really posted any art publicly of any non vocaloid syths so i have no clue where you got that impression from.

also I dont get this us vs them mentality about voice syths, like you can be a fan of more than one software famsquad, we're all listening to singing anime robots at the end of the day.
