Y/n always wondered what the world looked like. What the grass looked like. When people responded ‘green’ she would just ask herself ‘but what is green?´ She felt like she would be more connected if she could really feel what was around. Maybe she would be more comfortable.

“What’s going on in that pretty head of yours?” Jasper inquired, feeling the overwhelming feeling in his human mate. Her brows stopped furrowing, and her white eyes met his. Well, not really, and she knew that all too well.

“What do you look like?” she then asked back. Jasper sat closer to her on his sheets.

“That’s not what you were thinking about.” he shook his head. Y/n sighed, playing nervously with Jasper’s fingers.

“No, you’re right.” she smiled. She really couldn’t hide anything from him. “But…it would help me, I think.”

“Okay,” he murmured, carefully placing her onto his lap. He guided her fingertips to his pale features, and let her trace them. They went from the corner of his lips, to his temples. And from his temples to his cheeks. She returned to features she had already felt.

“You have long hair.” she chuckled. He wished he could see her eyes shining in amazement, contentment, just for once in his life. But hearing it in her voice was already more than enough. He smirked in response, letting her continue her adventure. “And it smells really good. Lavender?”

“Yes, ma’am.” he grinned even wider. He knew she liked lavender, and knew she had a bracelet with this scent on her left arm. It helped her stay in the present. She blushed, and he loved it. The redness was a beautiful contrast to her white eyes. Her hands went to his cheek, and she placed a shy kiss on it.
