CURRENT FIC STATE(S)!

Just thought I should update you guys on the state of some of my fics!

Little Diluc - I have an idea that I am particularly fond of, but the story hasn't been drafted yet.

Little Xiao - I'm making a part two to my xiao fic which will focus on the ending of the fic (morning after) and I'm currently in the process of drafting that.

Little Aether - I have a plot drafted out, but I might change it from Little!Aether and CG!Venti to Little!Aether and CG!Diluc or CG!Kaeya.

To Preen An Archon - TPAA is currently my most favourite fic as of right now, and I'm planning a few more parts for it, and will eventually turn it into it's own series, and some parts will go into Venti's past, ect.

I have all weekend to write/draft up little!Xiao and then if I have time, I'll probably start the little diluc draft, and hopefully finish it by next week, or the week after? Hopefully, anyways.

I'll probably do a introduction post & pin that to the top of my feed so people can see, too! I don't use my banner as much anymore, sooo...here!

Nnamdi Kanu Files Appeal Against Nigerian High Court's Jurisdiction Over Terrorism Charges.       Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has filed an appeal challenging the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court to try him on terrorism charges brought against him by the Nigerian government.   Read Also : Tonto Dikeh Invited by IGP Monitoring Unit – Here’s What We Know So Far   The appeal was submitted on Friday through Kanu's special lawyer, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, raising six critical issues for consideration by the Court of Appeal.   Kanu's appeal includes several requests, such as the immediate cessation of his trial, the discharge of all charges against him, and his release from detention.   This appeal follows the decision of Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court on June 19, where objections to the court's jurisdiction over Kanu's trial were dismissed. Consequently, Kanu has taken the matter to the Court of Appeal, expressing confidence that he will prevail based on the merits of his case.   Pay Attention To: BREAKING: Passenger Plane Crashes in Sao Paulo (Video)   In his appeal, Kanu referenced a series of legal precedents, including an October 2022 judgment from the High Court of Enugu State, which he claims undermines the Federal High Court's jurisdiction on six of the seven charges remitted from the Supreme Court. He also cited opinions and decisions from a United Nations tribunal and the African Union tribunal, which similarly detracted from the lower court's jurisdiction over the case.   Additionally, Kanu pointed out that the repeal and replacement of the Terrorism Prevention and Amendment Act (TPAA) in 2022 and the Customs and Excise Management Act in 2023 further challenge the jurisdiction of the lower court to proceed with the charges against him.   Kanu's appeal specifically questions the lower court's decision to proceed with the trial after the case was remitted by the Supreme Court. His legal team argues that the Federal High Court failed to adequately address all seven jurisdictional grounds raised in the preliminary objection.   The appeal also criticizes the trial court's refusal to fully consider the preliminary objection and its ruling on only one of the seven grounds, which related to the repeal of the TPAA 2013.   Kanu’s legal team argues that the trial court violated his right to a fair hearing by not addressing all the jurisdictional issues and by dismissing the preliminary objection as an abuse of process, despite acknowledging the merit of some arguments.   The appeal seeks to determine whether the trial court's rulings were legally sound and if the Court of Appeal should intervene to correct these alleged errors. Kanu's legal team also contends that the trial court ignored key affidavit evidence presented by the defense, which was left unchallenged by the prosecution.   The outcome of this appeal could have significant implications for Kanu's ongoing legal battles and his continued detention.

1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get? Ok, I don't know if this is really an "otp" or if it counts as "not getting it" because like. I understand why it exists in canon, it makes sense. But. To be honest. I just don't really like Roman and Gerri from Succession as a couple. Like, I'm fine with it existing in canon, and honestly everyone in that show is awful which is kinda the point so i feel like romanxgerri is the least of their worries, but it just feels. Icky to me. But I tend not to like significant age gaps of any kind. Also, anything with adopted siblings. There's a lot of them and I really really don't get it. Literally the main reason I stopped watching The Flash was because Iris and Barry being a couple was just Icky to me fhdksjfhksj (Also also any ships like Daisy and Ward or Jessica and Kilgrave. I cannot believe these are genuine ships-)

2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP? OH BOY - Gale and Katniss, anything with Matt, Foggy and Karen (karen and frank should have kissed at some point during the punisher and i will die on this hill), Valkyrie and Thor, Wynonna and Nicole, Wynonna and Doc (it should have been wynonna and dolls and i will also die on this hill), Daisy and Sousa (i’m fine with it bc Daisy’s happy but I don’t really like it tbh), and tbh Steve and Tony (at least in the MCU). And more that I forgot to mention. (also this doesn't really count but another unpopular ship opinion: i like wanda x brother voodoo more than wanda x vision )

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you? Not that I can think of at the moment! Though I've definitely seen a bunch of ships that are uh. Questionable. Very very questionable.

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? There's a few! And most of them are less of other people not liking them than just... the characters not being popular for whatever reason? I don't understand why. But, a few are: Karen Page, Bobbi Morse, Annie Cresta, Aero (Lei Ling), Deke Shaw, Malcolm Ducasse, and she's not really unpopular but I've seen quite a few people whine about Gwenpool being "cringy" or "fanservice" which I... don't like. And this one's just unpopular because the show's unpopular but Alvin Levin from TPAA. And also Bess from TPAA. I adore both of them and the entirety of that show

12. Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? I don't know how many people genuinely dislike the arcs as much as they're just ridiculously under-appreciated, but two of the main ones are Trish Walker's arc throughout Jessica Jones and Mariah Stokes' arc throughout Luke Cage! (Marvel TV villains and characters in general are already under-appreciated, but I think Mariah Stokes is probably of the most under-appreciated villains in the MCU)
