I don't like fanon versions of characters because it always quite literally takes away everything from that character. If you have to strip away things from a character to have fun, that is NOT the same character you enjoyed in the first place. It bleeds into everything, and I don't like it. You should not have to destroy a character completely in any way in order to have fun with them.

I was zoning out in one of my latest d&d sessions and pulled up tumblr, and the player beside me (a chronically online 4chan level human ragebait generator who is actually kind of nice once you get to know him but the first few sessions were hard) leans over and goes

"You use Tumblr unironically?? OH the haircut"

(I have an asymmetric pixie cut with an undercut)

He followed this up with "when I see you I just think 'Undyne from Undertale' "

And I still don't know what the appropriate reaction is to that

I think I would care less about lip synching if groups made it less obvious. Like I’m fully slipped into the diamond life so this is biased but at least when they lip synch for music shows or whatever their prerecording is still different from the studio version of the song. I was watching the aaa performances and some idols were like boxing with their mics and the audio wasn’t changing at all like bro at least try to be convincing please. The moment during shadow where dk touched his mic and the sound stopped because he was singing live made me so happy

oooo i hard agree with this one. i am 100% aware that idols cant always sing live and its important to let them take a break but at this point a lot of idols are just glorified dancers dressed in designer like u don't get stanned just bc ur 'famous' its bc ur meant to be a SINGER (or even a rapper) and yeah the seventeen bias makes it stand out more and even if u do lipsync at least put some charisma into the performance
