So mikey said if we were in the first time line, Takemitchi wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble of helping Mikey.

My theory is that at first, the OG time line is NOT the one where Shin died, but one where Mikey died. And Mikey talking about the first is him projecting the fact that if he died, none of this would have happened. It’s him telling us that if he stayed dead, it would have been better for everyone, especially Takemitchi. But Shin couldn’t have that. So he time leaped, and he died.

I think the time travel stuff in the manga doesn’t deal with multiverse as far as we know now, its more like a new time line erase the one created at the point where the leaper returns to the D date in the past. That’s it. Maybe im wrong but we’ll see

Each time Takemitchi went in the past, the future changed, right? but not the past, it created itself with Takemitchi’s actions, but each time he leaped, he was in the same time line where Shin died.

So it’s never about the past, it’s about the future.

So what about Takemitchi being pushed on those tracks if Shin died. Well, it could be someone else who pushed him, like maybe a third party ( my guess is on Waka ), but what if it was… some random dude. Like he was just— pushed, and Naoto saved him by pure luck.

We saw how Takemitchi learnt about Hina’s dead before the accident, his dull, boring ass life he hated so much. Maybe that’s what triggered his abilities. The hopelessness, the love he didn’t pursue (not gon lie i think he loved Hina at the beginning but i bet my money that man is in love with Mickey now lmao), that’s why he was able to travel back. It was a mistake, it was never supposed to happen. He met Mickey bc of Hina, it was pure correlation.

But it was “too late” for Mickey, in a sense, cause Shin already died.

I don’t know how Wakui will explain if Shin’s alive bc from what we saw, altering time limes didn’t change the fact that he was very dead dead like fr each time Takemitchi went in the past
