Two of Take Two Sides's main inspirations are The Infamous Object Show and Homestuck (makes... a lot of sense) but the other one is a somewhat obscure short NSFW webcomic called Asscastle about gayness and sexuality (it also has SLURS and is mostly offensive) and that comic was um. Interesting to say the least. You might know about it if you're a fan of the late Bob Saget, which I am not. If anything, the influences of the vibes of that comic lead to pretty much a lot of the more unusual jokes in the first episode which people liked and stuff.

If you're curious, other "smaller" inspirations for TTS include hfjone, rain world, dead gold by cloudnyan (has gore), otherworldly ravenous beast, wavetro's "stickmen" series, RTTMOT, filthy frank (VERY OFFENSIVE, and is REALLY GROSS at times), Super Bogus World 2 (NSFW), the ratboy genius, yogscast tekkit, Pikmin 251 (and 269 too, I guess), and the food orb series (has funny mspaint gore) by deliciousbakedpie on ROBLOX.

BuildIT DesignIT FidgIT and Digital Upgrade Decoded (both of which are obscure flash games) are also inspirations, but only because of their vibes…

I’m curious to know your opinions on future object shows that would want to incorporate darker or more mature themes. ONE definitely pushed the boundaries on what can be shown, but I think future creators can go even further whether the genre is horror, mystery or even just dark parody of the competition format. As a major horror movie fan, I’d really like to see more shows do this.

I Would Love That a Lot and Thought That That's Was What We Were in For When One Ended Tbh Haha... Maybe We Still Are But That's Not the Point. I Want People to Realize Object Shows Can Be Whatever and Be Aimed Towards Whoever the Hell They Want to Be and I Think We Can Get Some Truly Fascinating Things This Way. The One Thing I Really Hope People Do Though is Start to Vary Their Inspirations. Cheesy Drew From Stuff Like Breaking Bad for One and That Made His Show a Lot More Unique, Doing the Same for Your Own Work Can Give It a Really Unique Tone or Plot Lines if You Play Your Cards Right
