I was going to make a longer post about it but just imagining how the US election arguments as we approach November will flood every place of the English-speaking internet (where, unfortunately, I hang out during much of my time) and god, it's gonna be so tiresome. We're gonna get flooded with "REGISTER TO VOTE" ads even if you don't live there and people arguing about voting, not voting, voting for this and that, not voting for third parties (apparently a crime in the US, great democracy guys), and so on and so on. And the results in one way or the other will be awful for the wider world. Not looking forward to it.

After a hell of a time weathering storms and nesting in a chimney pot on the same rooftop where she raised Cheeps.. his mother has successfully hatched not ONE, but TWO BABIES!!!

super quick musings on Fathoms. i like a lot about the pose + design, but i feel like they kinda suffer from Undel Sameface when everything about their lore is pointing towards "friendly gentle ocean giants". wanted to roughly sketch Merrigan for a side-by-side comparison, and then some rough doodles of how i might push the design in a chunkier, more cetacean-inspired direction - 3 is swapping the features but keeping the overall proportions/layout mostly the same, and 4 is pushing the proportions even further

hoping to open up an art shop soon to fund my poor decisions (ongoing egg hatch and scatter project) and i need some more fr examples

i prefer to draw tundras, aethers, gaolers, spirals, pearlcatchers and imperials, but i'm open to drawing any breed!

my only request is no dragons with bubblegum bc the color makes me nauseous ^^'

I think he and Junior weren't in the trailer cuz they might have not been casted yet

maybe at that event not sure if it was his birthday? they already shot the trailer I think they did and he got to know later

went to restock my food points this evening and thought 'huh, don't have as many plants as i thought i would, i'm in the mire all the time, why don't i have boatloads'.

so i went through my hoard and converted every food item of a kind that was above 2772 count (one page of full stacks). anything below that number, i left alone, just in case of trade updates, you understand.

this is the tally after that. my dragons are on a fish and bugs diet now 👍🏽

which got me thinking, since the update allowing you to choose which food your dragons eat first, i've been force feeding my dragons plants because i had SO FREAKING MANY plant items. welp, seems like i've swung back in the other direction. time to see how long it takes before the numbers even out again

(meat and seafood were the ones i ate the most of prior, so i've been restricting how much of that gets eaten. wonder if the counts will level out. hopefully i remember to pay attention again in like a month or something)
