Bandai Japan Announces Tamagotchi Plus Plushies Volume 2!

The next wave is here! If you’ve already been drooling over the first four plushies in volume 1, then add these five to your list! The next four plushies are the exact same size, 8 centimeters, but new shells that pay homage to their original release back in 2004. The shells are Strawberry Milk, Aloha Red, Yukata Blue, Apples (Yellow), and Choucho.

They’ll be available nationwide in Japan at cane game machines in arcades starting on Thursday, August 8th, 2024!

Last week, I sent an email to Bandai about the possibility of rereleasing the Tamagotchi Connection line next year for the 20th anniversary. This was their response:

As confirmed by others, this isn't just a generic bot response.

If you also want to contact Bandai for a Tamagotchi Connection rerelease, look here. With enough of us, we might be able to make it happen! Don't spam though, and be respectful.

Go into detail about the high demand for the Connections on the secondhand market. (They often go for $100 USD or more, especially the Connection v4/v4.5, which are considered some of the best Tamagotchi devices ever released.)

Mention that the 20th anniversary of the Connection series is next year (2024).

I'm hoping for the best, but I'm prepared for potential disappointment.

Bandai Japan Announces New Tamagotchi Plus, Mimitchi & Furawatchi Crane Game Prizes

Pack those arcade machines with Tamagotchi prizes! Bandai’s Banpresto Crane Game division has announced new prizes that will be in crane machines real soon!

First up we have the dynamic duo of Mimitichi & Furawatchi plushes that are approximately 21 centimeters. They’ll be available at arcade crane game machines starting on Tuesday, April 23th, 2024!

Next up are these Keitei Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus plushies! They’re unique as their characters on screen are in modern pixel format which feature colors. They’re palm sized and approximately 8 centimeters each. There are five different shell types! In one of the pictures it does look like these could hang from an included lanyard. They’ll be available at arcade crane game machines starting on Thursday, April 25th, 2024!
