As a kid, it always bugged me that I knew Mandy Moore reprised Rapunzel in Sofia the First, but her singing voice sounds so different to me lmaoo. Now, I realized that her singing voice may have been pitched up in the show, so that's why it sounds different. I tried pitching it down (and may have damaged the mixing sorry), and even tho I did not get the exact voice ...I can now rest as it sounded closer lol

or maybe I was overthinking the og voice the whole time and it's just a different music from Alan Menken who knows?

EDIT: IT WAS JENNY KIDD WHO SUNG but did not get credit until she announced it on her FB page. Child me was right haha

Imagine towards the end of the Vatsk journey, the gang has like a quiet moment or maybe they sleep at night in the Corona castle before having to complete the light trial. Since it'd be the end of their journey, the library scene is itching closer too (Hugo's betrayal).

But for now, everything's fine. At least that's what Varian thinks.

What I'm thinking is.. remember season 2 when Cass, Raps and Eugene sang "With you by my side" right before Cassandra's betrayal?

Or in season 3 when Rapunzel sang "Girl who has everything" right before the heartbreaking finale episodes?

Imagine Varian happily singing a song about finally finding himself and his mother. How he's been through tough times but now he's sure he's finally found friends his age that he can trust and talk about alchemy with.

And about his love and faith for Hugo, too.
