In the year 2006 I was at a weight of nearly 400lbs\182kg and by 2007 I was diagnosed with #diabetes #hypertension ( #highbloodpressure ) #sleepapnea and #ulcers and a #a1c of 9.9 which lead me to end up being put on #metformin #lisinopril (changed to #losartan in 2010) #Prilosec and #omeprazole #glimepride added a few years later. Along with a #bipap #sleepmachine for my #apena as the years went by I lost a few pounds taking me down to the 350’s (160’s kg) by around 2010, I lost and gained here and there, honestly was not really caring. I really didn’t like me! Well as the years went by my #weight didn’t do much my #numbers stayed around the same. However one day in March 2015 I looked at #myself in the mirror and just said “Enough is enough!” No one pushed me, no one made me, no #encouraged or #discouraged me. So I started to watch what I ate, started to #exercise and set little goals for each month, then each week , then each day. #walking became a major part of my #healthylifestyle long story short. I’m at or near where I want to be, I was setting a goal for 225lbs/102kg but decided that I’m just going to stick with 230-235lbs (104-107kgs) just work on #bodytoning I’m proud of where I’m at and how I did it!! As a #truckdriver it’s tough to lose weight as this #weightlossjourney comes to an end my #weightlosstransformation shows my #weightloss and hoping for others to get #weightlossmotivation this is a #newme with a #newattitude looking at a #newhealthyme so I can say #nowimsexy this #truckinglife as a #tankeryanker and #trucker I’m happy and #proud of me!

Thanks to the new laptop, I am slowly working through the 20+ TB backlog of saved GoPro video files that I have. I'm deleting a lot of the files (boring stuff), but I already have several trips ready to edit and create.

Counting Down

Well, my last day at my current cubical farm job is May 14. I start training at the new company on the 15th. Should be interesting.

Yesterday I went to the Kinder Morgan class in Phoenix so that I could get “carded” at KM Phoenix. Now I just need to load three times with a trainer so that I remember what I’m doing and then they will issue me a loading card.

Time Flies

Wow, I can’t believe how much time has gone by since my last post. It’s been crazy busy. Once you get into a routine, it’s just day after day. When I get home, I’m not really interested in working on the computer. I should post while I’m delivering, or stopped on break.

In the past few weeks, I’ve been to Flagstaff, Winslow, Page, Kingman, Yuma, Tucson, Sierra Vista, Bullhead City, Marana, and Safford, as well as numerous local hangers and airports. I’ve even been back to Boulder City, NV a couple of times.

First Day at WTL

I survived my first day of training! We delivered a load of jet fuel from Phoenix to the Boulder City Municipal Airport.

And now I’m off for my “weekend.”

Major Upgrade

I finally purchased a GoPro Hero 8 Black camera and will be creating driving videos to post on YouTube. I’ve been working with my cell phone camera, but it wasn’t really doing a good job.

Wow, time sure flies by. Since my Halls Crossing post, back at the first of December, I’ve been to Texas once (3 stop trip) as well as multiple trips to UT, NV, & CA. I have terabytes of video footage, but my computer is so old that it doesn’t really like to compile the footage into postable videos unless I give it several hours (days) to think about each one.

I’ve transitioned from a day cab to a sleeper truck, and primarily haul AvGas 100 Low Lead fuel, with the occasional jet fuel load. I will attempt to link to some pictures and will post video links as I get them finished and uploaded.
