CJL LIVE BLOG SEASON 1 [EPISODE 1]
So. I know, this is wrong. Coz I put the IPK one on hold and now i am starting another, but I thought, this one is just for 82 epis(SO SHORT? WTF? CHALA HI NAHI SHOW?!?!?) So, it wont take much time to complete this and I also wanted to keep this content and ipk content separate. Hence, a separate blog. I know y'all might be hard-core Arshi fans and ipk fans, but, give this one, a chance, as well, ok? Just for entertainment's sake? Please? Baaki, it's your choice ofc :) Hope you enjoy this.
1.) Hmm. Pune. Maharashtra. A girl peeping out through the car window. Enjoying the 'jaadu' in the air. Btw, I like the BG score, here.
2.) In the flashback, we see two kids sitting on a white horse and the horse is galloping in its full galore. The girl confirms the magic in the air as her hands are flying. Lol. Typical kids.
3.) Tara di's sister is asking about her opinion on her looks. IDK but I cringed real hard when she said, "Achi lag rahi hun naa?"(Like yeah darling, you look average. Lol. JK. You look stunning but stop with that cringe acting, ok?)
4.) Tara Di opens her hair and A SECOND-LITERALLY A SECOND AGO, she was irritated but then immediately she is impressed with her di's improvisation. Whatever. Lol.
5.) Selfies. Di is excited so she starts taking selfies and her younger sister is suspicious instantly. Why? Does she not take selfies on any normal day? Maybe. *shrugs*
6.) How typical of people to instantly assume that if a girl seems excited then she might be having a 'chakkar' with some boy. Why girl? Your sister can't be happy for her own self, just like that, without any reason? *hmph* Do you make her that upset? Lol. That now her excitement seems abnormal.
7.) NGL but this Tara di's sister is a really bad actor, whoever she is. Sorry. Lol.
8.) Tara Di gets off the car and lets them drive by. Then, she quickly runs to the Bus Station to catch a bus for--?--whatever.
A Side Gyaan : But that's such a bad way to catch a bus, actually. First, you catch the attention of the bus driver coz they are at a considerable height and then they stop the vehicle ONLY THEN you cross it and get on the bus, okay? My readers? Don't be like Tara Didi, okay? Good. Now, we come back to the epi.
9.) So. Tara didi is changing her shoes. I really thought for a sec that she will change her outfit too. Lol. A kid is staring at her antiques and she notices people are staring at her. So.
What do you think will she do?
a) ignore them
b) make faces at them
c) sunaoify (rudely) them for staring at a slightly differently dressed girl
d) give them a five page ka gyaan on social etiquettes as a soon-to-be 'Starplus Bahu'
Yeah. You are neither right nor wrong, coz she will randomly pull out a jar of lollipops and distribute it to appease them. Yes. We all do that. We all step out of our homes, thinking we might happen to be in a bus and can then distribute it among the children on the said bus. Whatever.
10.) TD gets off the bus and buys chana and gur for--?--*shrugs*
11.) TD is now sitting in a-tempo?-transport vehicle. Whatever. Driver announces her destination which is- "Sehgal Estate"
12.) The driver assuming her to be a tourist, warns her, of the place having been shut down for quite a few years now and he tells her that an accident had taken place, many years ago. TD flashes back to that 'haadsa' and politely dismisses him by stating that she is a local.
13.) Ok, ladies, so all things aside, who all can climb up and cross that gate, that high, with a WHITE SAREE and that too without staining it!?!? Anyone? No? See, our Tara D (Lol. I have so many name ideas for this girl.) CAN. She is a champion at this. (Okay so i wanted to take a screenshot of that long-ass gate but Jio Cinema didn't let me. Fudge you, Ambanis'. Whatever. Lol.)
14.) She takes help from Deva's flash back advice when he had first guided her to climb that (same?) gate. Okay, so that saxophone BG score is cute, okay? Lol.
15.) Gosh. How did they manage to find a small girl who looks exactly like Kanika Mann? Wow. Casting directors take a bow. *bows down with joined hands*
16.) Okay, so the titular song has started in the BG and I am loving it. Meanwhile, TD is going about the mansion and recalling that 'haadsa'.
17.) I am actually kinda liking this kid, Deva. How sweet of him. He extends a bunch of yellow flowers (symbolizing friendship). And damn, he has one hell of a head full of soft and flowy tresses. Wow. Any hair care tips for us, girls, Deva? Lol. Whatever.
18.) She digs out the 'nishaani' of their friendship which is basically two thick stones(or rocks?) joining like a puzzle piece and 'Badshah' along with caricatures of Deva and Tara, carved on the two pieces.
19.) She becomes very emotional, holding the symbol of a once very beautiful bond she had with some boy named- Deva. And then out of the blue we hear a horse neighing and Tara instantly brightens as she recognizes Badshah.
20.) Sure enough, we see Badshah running towards Tara and Tara on reaching close to it, touches it affectionately on it's jaws. We see that Badshah is indeed angry and disappointed on Tara. He starts running away as Tara tries to pacify it(him?). Oh. So. The chana and gur was for a horse. Ok. Nice.
Fun-Fact : All things set aside, Kanika genuinely had to interact with a horse in the middle of the shoot. I wonder if there's some story to this episode which she might have, like she was hell scared of horses and yet had to learn how to interact even if it's a well trained horse, we are talking about. Okay. Enough. Now back to the epi.
21.) Basant Kaka has come to see Tara Bitiya. What's with that line?-"Main janta tha ki aaj ka din tu bhulegi naayi, zarur aayegi." Kya hai aaj ke din mein aisa? Tara's demeanor changes as she recalls the incidents that took place in today's date.
22.) She tells BK that today is the day she met HIM (Deva?) and she reveals that he was the only one who made her Tara from 'Phus Tara' (Deflated Star or according to Jio Cinema's caption-'Timid Tara'. Basically an insulting nick name.)
(Lol. See. I got another name. But. Sorry i won't use that coz it triggers her childhood trauma.)
22.) Do I see vengeance there, Tara? Okay. So, we are being taken 15 years back.
23.) Wow. What an a__hole of a brother. He is chasing Tara all over the house with a bunch of crackers (chataai?) Tara is hidden inside the cupboard but she wants to come out because she is scared of darkness and it's all dark inside the cupboard. Ronak bhaiya fools her to come out but lays the chataai bomb and lights it with a matchstick giving her a 'Sehgal Promise'. These Sehgals seem to be too stuck up of a family tho.
Not-So-Fun Fact : God, these are the worst kind of crackers not only coz of the sound but also they keep scattering everywhere, while bursting, once lit. Even I am hell scared of these and always stand at least 1 Km away from these. Lol.
24.) Not knowing better (how would she? she is just a kid of 7-8 something.) Tara trusts her wicked brother, who has already run away to the veneration, steps out of the cupboard but it's too late the crackers keep scattering everywhere and bursting in the meantime and the poor kid is hell scared she starts calling out for her father ("Baba").
25.) Baba is doing aarti of Devi Maiyya (Oh. Hello DM. How are you? How are Khushi-Arnav and their munchkins doing? Lol. Sorry. I get carried away a bit.)
26.) WAIT. WHAT!?!!?!?! Is that the same guy, who was in Sheesh Mahal, on the fashion show night and Khushi came, asked him for directions but instead got to listen to an Urdu Shayari? Wow. See. A crossover we didn't deserve but got anyway. Whatever.
27.) Baba was doing aarti when his hell scared daughter comes and merely touches his back and the veneration plate skips away from his hand. Lol. What kind of a diet Baba takes that he couldn't even handle a gentle push from a mere kid of 7? Whatever.
But the thing that surprises me more is that he is about to lash out at her in front of the whole-family?- bunch of people. This is where I thought that there's some major tiff going on, in the family, like, everyone is against a mere kid.
28.) Baba, your daughter was hell scared, that too, coz of your a__hole of a son. A lil bit of compassion would go a long way. Thank you.
29.) Wow. A__hole father, a__hole brother. Tara. Run. I said. RUN. Whatever. Poor kid. Is getting blamed for the thing that she couldn't have any control of. So. Baba's wife died at childbirth. So. Now. He has got a lifetime license of blaming and punishing his daughter for it. WoW. jUsT. wOw.
30.) Some one please call a gynecologist and enlighten him that it hardly has anything to do with the child but has everything to do with proper timely medical care. Whatever.
31.) OH. She is crying in front her mother's portrait. Asking if she would ever be loved by anyone or not. I so desperately want to go and give her a looooooong jaadu ki jhappi. Uff. I am getting goosebumps now.
32.) She hears a melody being played out from a harmonica and is instantly drawn to its source. She sees, a boy riding a horse named Badshah and carrying balloons on it's saddle. She is kind of intrigued by this boy.
33.) The boy introduces himself as Deva and in the process, mocks Ronak. Ronak is kind of irritated of this boy already and tries to take over the horse and orders BK to light a long-ass chataai (do they have nothing else in the name of crackers? Lol. 'sEhGaLs') But, Deva is frantic and warns not to burst crackers as it will make Badshah go crazy and mocks him again and Ronak pushes him and Deva falls down.
34.) BK, following his master's orders, lights the chataai and Badshah goes crazy, starts running around violently. There is chaos everywhere, somewhere in the midst, Baba also shouts. The horse Badshah is now running towards Tara and Tara is frightened to the core. She freezes at her spot and covers her face ready to face the impact. Deva pulls off a high jump stunt and lands on the horse's back and calms him down in the process.
35.) Deva tries to cheer Tara up and is successful and from there on they both spend time together and thus become hard core friends.
36.) Deva lightens up her world. She smiles more, laughs more, conquers her fears a lil bit more, every time she is with Deva. And one fine day, they both are celebrating Deva's birthday and Tara has brought a cake for him. A candle is perched on its top. Deva lights it up and blows it away to make a wish. But the candle keeps lighting up again and again automatically, this surprises Deva and Tara falls into a pit of laughter and we see grown up Tara laughing in front of BK recalling the incident. This show is really moving something inside me. It's so heart warming tbh.
37.) Ok. So now they are celebrating BK's b'day and she has a cake-cum-aate-ka-halwa. BK lights up a matchstick and the small speck of fire again ignites that trauma in Tara. Poor girl is traumatized on loosing her only best friend.
38.) Tara and BK think that Deva is dead. And, Badshah has been bought by someone in exchange of lakhon rupiye. Altho, Bhojariya ji had a deal with Tara that she would pay him to keep Badshah in the Sehgal Estate but upon getting a greater amount of money, naturally, Bhojariya Ji sells it.
39.) Tara is heart-broken that she could not keep his only belonging safe and so apologizes to Deva (who she thinks is in heaven) and we are instantly taken to a hilltop where we see a man, also in white. So. Deva. He is alive and probably a reech buzinez man, i think? And, now, the plot is quite predictable, Tara will try to take back Badshah from that 'man' and he will in turn not reveal that he is indeed Deva becoz there is some misunderstanding on both of their side. So. He will try to seek revenge from Tara for what he had to go through in the past. As it is clear from the line, "Bohot jal chuka suraj, ab chaand ko jalna hoga." Wow. What a beautiful parallel tho. (Suraj-Deva and Chaand-Tara and also the title of the story makes a lot more sense now.)
40.) Ok. So. Jalebi reminded me that I did not mention Deva's entry scene. So. Yeah. Deva's entry scene, huh? Wow. Yeah. Sirf. Wow. I had literal goosebumps already and then that drone shot from the hilltop. The teapot hanging above the fire. Lol. What a traditional way to make chai amidst nowhere. Btw where did he get chai ki patti from? And what about chini? Cup? Lol. Banda puri taiyyari ke saath aaya tha. So. Yeah. Amazing scene. Handsome Deva. Beautiful white suit. Already swooning.
Not-so-Fun Fact : Damn this reminds me that I have been chai-deprived since yesterday coz chai was finished and no one in our house(as in me and my parents) were bothered enough to bring it from the general store altho we all were very much bothered for not being able to have a cup of chai. uGh. Whatever.
41.) Wow. Wow. Wow. This show has already started to cast its spell on me, to be honest. And it's just the first episode.
P.S. : So. Yeah. Very beautiful. Very very very beautiful indeed. Cinematography wise. Script wise. Costume wise. Look wise. Everything is perfect for Chaand Jalne Laga. TBH I was underestimating this show but it indeed is beautiful. Please do give it watch. Ok. Then. Bye. God bless you.
#Tara-Deva#CJL#Suraj Hua Maddham#Chaand Jalne Laga#Lol#i couldnt find a ship name for them#like?#TaDe?#TaVa?#RaDe?#RaVa?#TarDeva?#Lol.#Whatever.#You decide that.#I am too bad at picking ship names#Or tell me if a name already exists#I felt like i was too harsh on our Tara Di in this one#i promise you; will be a lil softer for her from the next one :)#but ngl kanika mann is so damn beautiful and the frames are so aesthetically pleasing#it is indeed beautiful#hats off to the cvs team and cinematography their hard work is visible and is very heart touching as well :)#i actually enjoyed the episode :))#Added Deva's entry scene thoughts :)#I got drunk and forgot to mention it earlier :(#Pardon my drunk-ness :(

TALKING ABT BUDH HAS ME ANGSTY OVER CHANDRA-TARA AGAIN YAAAR
FOR STARTERS I DO NOT THINK THE SITUATION AND THE DYNAMICS BETWEEN THE THREE WERE LIKE PARIS-HELEN-MENELEUS
Like- its literally canon that brihaspati is a shit husband (oppostie to shukra THIS MUCH?)
And i imagine after shachi’s curse he gets really paranoid (and lets be honest that is a male chauvinist) so he is like “tara dont leave the house, keep the window closed” etc etc
And because of these rules she ends up loosing the one thing that still managed to keep her sane in the marriage, her freedom, and her stars
So imagine when chandra comes in, adorned in white, bright in the night sky like tara’s beloved stars. And he approaches her, asking for her hand in marriage, and she says yes that she will elope with him.
I personally imagine chandra was so infatuated by her that he didn’t even bother asking her if shes married or why they have to elope. So in the middle of the night they leave.
Tara finds her freedom and her stars. The night sky is complete with the stars and moon together, but of course that can’t be for long.
After they…consummate or whatever, shukra comes to chandra regarding the ultimatum which is when chandra finds out and although he is hurt about tara hiding her marital status he still informs shukra he will not accept it, to which narada muni takes it to the devas.
NOW THE DEVAS DONT REALLY BLAME TARA, but indra is still paranoid after the entire him getting removed because of his defiance of brihaspati, so he brigrudgingly agrees.
And when chandra finds out she is pregnant with budh he is heartbroken, especially because this is right after shukra tells him they won’t win easy, and there will be negotiations over an actual victory and he will lose tara.
After the said negotiations and the entire “tara whose child is this?” Thing tara goes back to brihaspati, but its different, he lets her go they are seperate in every way except legally and she is lonelier than ever, I imagine the devas agreeing for her not to meet budh too frequently as to not upset brihaspati, so budh is essentially raised without his real mom.
The nakshatras obviously care for him, but he always felt something missing, his relationship with chandra though is better, chandra absolutely adores him for what he is, a remnant of his sitara, his star, his tara.
I GOT IN THE FEELS BUT DO YOU FEEL ME?? DO YOU SEE MY VISION??
YOU HAD NO REASON TO MAKE THIS SO EMOTIONAL WHAT
DONT DO MY BUDH LIKE THAT FUSDHFJDF
But again I do like this story cuz it's just too good
and another thing im glad about is that Budh is atleast closer to his dad so there's that

Mythology of Pushya Nakshatra
Pushya is governed by Brihaspati, the God of Supreme Wisdom (Jupiter/Guru).
Pushya nakshatra amplifies good karma and beneficial efforts, therefore, it is believed that all malefic planets lose their harmful potential when placed here.
Interestingly, it falls under the influence of the two largest planets - Jupiter (Guru) and Saturn (Shani), making it deeply significant because both these planets are the most important from the Vedic astrology perspective. Under Pushya, Dharma (righteous duty) and Karma (action) unite. People born under it are often highly moral and caring toward others. Pushya nourishes and has the power to nurture planets placed within it, allowing them to grow. Saturn, the ruler of Pushya, causes the results of the planets to unfold gradually over time, and with Jupiter exalted in this nakshatra, it implies steady, long-term growth. However, Pushya is NOT considered favourable for marriage. If the 7th house ruler is located here, or there’s some connection to it, marital issues may arise.
The myths (can be found in Vishnu Purana, Brahmanda Purana, and Harivamsha) explain the following: Brihaspati’s (Jupiter’s) wife, Tara, was stolen by the charming Chandra (Moon), and she later gave birth to a child from him. Hence, people with strong Pushya placements may face spousal loss or relationship disruptions. But there’s more — a dispute arose between Brihaspati and Chandra over the paternity of the child. When questioned, Tara initially remained silent. However, the unborn child, demonstrating remarkable intelligence, demanded to know his father's identity. Tara then acknowledged Chandra as the father. The child, named Budha, later became the deity associated with the planet Mercury, symbolizing wisdom and intellect. Most importantly, Brihaspati accepted Tara and her child back, which ties Pushya to such themes as adoption and caring for children who are not one’s own.
The sacred shakti (power) of this nakshatra is spiritual development. Pushya is especially important for religious and spiritual practice. Brihaspati (Guru, Jupiter) is the lord of speech, especially prayers and all forms of worship, including meditation.
However, relationships with one’s Guru (spiritual teacher) may be challenging. Two myths illustrate this:
Shani (Saturn) once approached Brihaspati (Jupiter) to become his student, but Brihaspati rejected him because Shani was the son of a shadow (Chhaya). Hurt, Shani then went to Shukra (Venus), who accepted him. This suggests that people with strong Pushya influence may change teachers or mentors for various reasons.
In Srimad Bhagavatam tale, Brihaspati (Jupiter) was not properly honoured at a grand assembly, organised by Indra, the god of weather, rain, storms, and war. Feeling disrespected and offended, Brihaspati departed silently and became untraceable. Deprived of their spiritual guide, the devas (gods) grew vulnerable, and the asuras (demons), guided by their guru Shukracharya, seized the opportunity to attack them. The gods then sought protection from sage Vishvarupa, who gave them the Narayana Kavacha (a sacred protective hymn invoking Lord Narayana's various forms and weapons for safeguarding against evil). Armed with this knowledge, Indra and the devas regained their strength and repelled the asuras.
Another interesting aspect relates to Pushya’s ruler Jupiter (Brihaspati): as a Brahmin and spiritual guide of the gods, he possessed secret knowledge from the Atharva Veda, including mantras, spells, and protection against black magic. This suggests that Pushya people may thus be healers or able to deal with occult forces.
This is especially notable if Lunar Nodes Rahu or Ketu are located in Pushya, or if it aligns with the dustahana houses (6/8/12) in a chart. Such individuals could be astrologers, tantrics, or possess deep knowledge (or potential for obtaining knowledge) of esoteric, mystical practices and mantras.
Mythological symbolism of Pushya in a nutshell:
Arrow – ability to reach one's goals.
Udder (teat) – capacity to nurture oneself and others.
Circle – symbol of protection.
Flower – represents spiritual blossoming; fulfilment in life through Dharma.

Yoni Consorts - Match for Karma, not for Life

It is a myth that yoni consorts are a perfect match and result in lifelong, satisfactory arrangements. Yoni is actually volatile, and it reflects the sexual instinctive nature of humans, that feels like the goal is fulfilled the moment we reach sexual satisfaction or offspring has been produced.
A better long term match either in platonic or romantic connections actually occurs more with positive synastry or Tara Bala aspects, as they continuously bring fresh energies into the mix, which allows a partnership of whatever nature to flourish. You will see that even in most movies, regardless of the nature of their relationship in the plot, the actors cast together commonly have one of two Tara Bala aspects - either Nakshatras are right next to each other in either direction, or the Tara Bala is mitra or paramitra (friend or best friend). Sometimes the actors chosen have both a yoni pairing and good Tara Bala. In those cases, the yoni element is added for extra drama and fuels the "break up and make up" part of the plot.
Yoni consorts are “a match”, because they simulate an environment that is perfect to burn off one’s karmas, for better or for worse. Often you will see short lived but intense unions, that end up dissipating under karmic circumstances relative to each Nakshatra pairing.
For instance, Rohini and Mrigashira are a yoni match, Rohini being the male, the avatar of Brahma, Mrigashira the female, the avatar of his daughter, that he felt desire for. However, Mrigashira always ultimately has a desire to escape Rohini/Brahma, as she feels overly controlled and trapped within his energy and seeks to defy it and be released from it. So Rohini is not the perfect man for a Mrigashira woman, he is the perfect man for her to fulfill her karma of escaping from him. He is controlling in just the right ways to trigger her survival instinct and make her want to escape from him. The perfect energy for Mrigashira is actually Hasta, a gentle, fellow feminine energy Nakshatra (even if in a male) of the same Deva Moksha orientation, that puts her restlessness at ease.
Rohini’s ideal match is actually Uttara Phalguni, the privileged, even immature and spoilt partner, that is so easy going and full of themselves, hardened in their self satisfaction due to their effortlessly unearned ancestral good karmas and masculine polarity, that they fill their kingdom with glory with no harm to their self esteem or well being.

Hi hope you are doing good.
I have a couple of interesting questions ❓
1.Tell us about Lord Shiva in Mbh.
Did those ppl actually talk to Shiva directly?
2. Tell us more about Narada and Krishna friendship.Throughout the epic the sage comes and goes as he likes creates troubles for Krishna starting from Kansa sending Pootana etc
He does the role of matchmaker too in times ,plays the role of messenger etc.
Say us more about Narada in mbh/Krishna's life.
For #1, most of people's encounters with Shiva have come to us second or third-hand. Only Arjuna and Ashwatthama meet Shiva face-to-face 'onscreen'. Even among them, Arjuna meeting Kirata-Shiva points to him being maybe an exceptionally knowledgeable leader of the Kiratas themselves (much in the image of the Meluha series) who helped both the men who approached him. This would explain Krishna's apparent friendship with him too. Here are all the mentions of Shiva I could find in MB, there could be more.
Kripa is an incarnation of the Ekadasha Rudras combined.
Ashwatthama is an incarnation of these four together: {Mahadeva, Yama, Kama, Krodha}
Gandhari worshipped Shiva and obtained a boon to have 100 sons.
Shiva meets Agni’s son Kartikeya, and worships him with Parvati, and Kartikeya comes to be known as his son as well.
Arjuna meets Kirata-Shiva, Parvati, surrounded by many other women, receives Pashupataastra. During Kurukshetra, Arjuna dreams that Krishna is taking him to Kailasha where he meets Shiva again and get a few more weapons.
Bhagiratha pleases Shiva and convinces him to hold Ganga in his locks.
Rishi Mankanaka meets Shiva, who stops him from dancing out of joy for a simple magic.
Shiva intervened to support Indra when he went to war against Chandra to have him return Tara, and Brahma told him and Shukra to stop warmongering. His bow used to be called Ajagava then, not Pinaaka. Shiva used to be a student of Vrihaspati’s father in this timeline.
Shiva gives Amba a boon to let her help with killing Bheeshma as Shikhandi.
When Brahma first created the world, he was tense about it not being destroyed to make space for new stuff, so he became angry, which created a fire that burned everything, and from this fire emerged Shiva.
Shiva possessed Ashwatthama and gave him his khadga so he could go on his last murder spree.
Here, we get another story of Shiva’s early life, where Brahma had asked him to create something. While Shiva did tapasya underwater, Brahma created the universe. Later, when Shiva found out, he became angry and left to Munjamana hills, only informing Brahma that he has created the food for us living beings (who staged a riot, nearly consuming Brahma himself out of anger), which will self-replicate so Brahma doesn’t need to worry (very passive-aggressive).
Shiva destroys a yajna of the Devas (notably, an earlier version of Sati’s story), because they refused to count him as a benefactor of it. It’s honestly a wonderful collection of metaphors of the changing religion, within Sauptika.
Then, Daksha-yajna is retold, but Parvati is maintained as a non-daughter character. Here, instead of Veerabhadra, Shiva creates Fever, personified. In the next chapter though, when the story is retold again, this time it’s Veerabhadra and Kaali (born of Parvati), and on the other side, still Parvati.
Krishna gets a lot of boons from both Shiva and Parvati (the Samba one).
For #2, Narada seems more like an institution than a single person, given how often he turns up in the story. His narrative purpose is to hurry up the inevitable a bit. As you said, creating 'havoc' in people's lives, but only for an entertainment value for all the sideliners. :) Like, instead of waiting for Kamsa to first track down, then send someone after Krishna, Narada informs him what's what and tells him to get a move on, because the observers are getting bored.
However, he is one of the foremost political scientists of his time. Even Chanakya, in Arthashastra refers to Narada and his policies as Pishuna (cunning; and Bheeshma is noted as Kaunapadanta or serpernt's tooth).
In MB, the Narada-prashna (to Yudhishthira before rajasuya), is a fantastic questionnaire on dharma-artha-kaama and their balance in a bureaucracy that even modern governments should be checking their policies against (they'll find themselves wanting in 90% of it but I digress), and even for us common folks, it seems very, very important to at least read this part and know what questions to ask, especially in light of recent unfortunate events.
He also appears after Kurukshetra, and tells Yudhishthira the story of the deaths of 16 great kings, in an effort to assuage his grief and prepare him to take the throne. He also tries to caution Duryodhana against the war before it starts.
Krishna and Narada are friends, basically, because they are both political stalwarts, they really speak the same language. Sometimes, with Vishnu primarily, Narada runs into trouble, as the both of them keep trying to out-prank each other (most of them seem to feature a face-distortion, sometimes with other people like Parvata, his nephew).
Other appearances of him you can check once here, this list seems to be comprehensive enough: (x)

Is Kashi in Dead Boy Detectives Kacha, son of the Hindu devas (gods), Brihaspati and Tara?
Kacha was a sage sent by the devas to learn from Shukra, an asura (demon).
He -
agreed to serve Shukra for 1000 years. Which would tally with Kashi's old man comment.
died 3 times. Kashi tells the Night Nurse, "I've lived many lives".
Is a sage, and his father is advisor to all the other devas. This recalls Kashi's offer of "good counsel" to the Night Nurse.
was revived from the belly of his teacher after his ashes were ingested.
But most importantly, what he learned from Shukra was a mantra to bring the dead back to life.
If Kashi is Kacha, this could be one way of bringing Niko back to life in season 2. Even if her body has been cremated.
This could also feed into Niko's desire to bring her father back, as well as conflict between Charles and Edwin (I think Charles would like to be alive again, but Edwin I'm not too sure).

CJL LIVE BLOG SEASON 1 [EPISODE 2]
Hi. I had an exam on 28th and I had promised my mother that I won't write anything before that. So. Now. Come. Let'z begin :)
1.) So. Now is the time for their sweet re-union. Badshah & Deva. Deva fishes out a harmonica and starts playing 'their' melody which is also an instrumental of the titular song.
2.) Badshah, instantly, recognizes the tune and starts running towards its source, Deva as well comes down running towards him while playing it, with tears rolling down his eyes.
3.) Ok. So. Now. Badshah is doing nakhre. He wants to have a race to a tree at the hilltop. Deva mocks Badshah of his old age and inability to run at full speed. He warns him not to cheat and to start running only at the count of three. (Tho he himself breaks the rules in the next moment. Lol.)
4.) They are about to reach the hilltop and Deva realizes he is loosing, so, he takes a long-ass high jump and lands on the tree, altho the camera could not hide the actuality of the scene but theek hai itna toh chalta hai.
5.) Deva is hanging down a branch and is gloating of his victory but the branch breaks off and he falls down the hill to the-waterfall?-lake?-water body. Whatever.
6.) And, now, we get a glimpse of his trauma getting triggered due to him going underwater. We see the impact of the trauma has been huge on him too, by the line as well as the way, he says it, "Haan haan tu jeeta aur......main haar gaya."
7.) We, along with Badshah, get a glimpse of his tortured past. He(Badshah) tries to sooth and comfort him but Deva brushes it off by saying that this was the reward for trying to bring a smile on someone's face, he continues, the wounds have healed but the pain is still there.
8.) And, we are instantly taken to that certain someone who, he was talking about, moments ago. Mujhariya ji? Or? Bhojariya ji? They didn't keep track of that name. (¬_¬)
9.) Tara has. Oh. Hi Tara. So. Tara has returned home but she kept searching for Badshah, the whole day, as it is night time now. She has badgered (-Bho/Mu-)jhariya ji the whole day, he is exasperated and tells her to not disturb him as he has no knowledge of the person, who has bought Badshah.
10.) So. We hear someone shouting at the top of their lungs, asking for their 'accounts ki file' and we see Baba throw- Oh. Hi Baba. Long time no see. Hope you are fin-i think not. Did you too find something strange in Baba's behavior? Like. Wasn't he, a self-centered, stuck up 'Sehgal' all those years back? Yeh kab se Tara ki baat manne lage? Something's wrong with him, i think. Whatever.
11.) So. Tara hands him those yellow flowers from the gardens of their ex-house. Lol. Ex-house. And Baba calms down, considerably.
12.) We see Tara leaves Baba inside the room and goes to clean the now-broken expensive lamp of her chachi. Chachi warns her to tell off her Baba to be careful with the things of this house as it is their house(Chacha and Chachi's). Btw, what's with Chachi's over make-up and heavy saree? She didn't go anywhere? Did she? No? Then why the over dressing? Lol. Whatever.
13.) Oh. So. Chachi takes rent from these two. To give them space in 'their' house. To give shelter to their OWN big brother? Like? Blood related BIG BRO? Wow. Just wow. And, she orders Tara to give her additional five thousand along with the monthly rent, for the loss of that goddamn lamp. Chachi, be grateful that she has the grace to give that money, had i been at her place, i would have given you a tight slap. Now. Shut the f*ck up Chachi. You understand? STFU CHACHI.
Not-so-fun Fact : Why are all the Chacha's and Chachi's of the ITV universe doing the GREAT wrong deed / the GREAT injustice? First Arnav's chachaji and now these idiots (also chachas and chachis)? Like? Wtf is wrong with them? Whatever.
14.) Aha. See? I told you. Baba is ill, y'all.
15.) Tara pleads chachi to -understandably- show some mercy to her father but chachi backfires.
16.) Oh. So. I was right again. Chacha and chachi are going for a party thrown by some 'maaldaar investor'. Lol. What was with that shitty woofing at the end. Lol. Whatever.
17.) Hold on, y'all. Let me take a water break.
*takes a two minute time-out*
*returns back* Ok. Let's resume.
18.) Papa is ill. But brother is still the same. Asshole. You noticed how papa has softened towards Tara now? I actually feel sad for Tara. This poor little kid lost so much so soon. And, now she is the one taking care of her ill father and reckless brother. Because Rohan has to get paid to look after his ill papa for ONE FREAKING DAY. Humphf. Shit-hole of a brother.
Not-so-Fun Fact : They highlighted his gold gleaming ring and the watch on his left hand when he asked about his return gift for 'papa-sitting' which means Tara was the only one who gave those to him or at least she was the one to pay the bill. My poor little baby Tara.
LoOoOol. Again, that Sehgal Promise. Bro, the last time you gave your 'Sehgal Promise', you almost traumatized Tara. Just spare her with that shit-ass of a promise of yours and take care of your father, you jobless leech.
19.) Tara has been made part of the event today night, which is probably, being hosted by Deva and he can't wait to start on his revenge, the moment he was waiting for, for the last fifteen years.
20.) Lol. Deva is in love. Yeah. Kind of. The man has everything around him which keeps reminding him of Tara. He really loves her, actually. Had kind of fallen for her all those years back. It's just he has this misunderstanding that Tara had the heart to betray him so when he comes to know the truth he will actually end up taking revenge from those accused Sehgals for his and Tara's tortured past.
21.) Ok. So. Deva in black. His car in red. (Tara in red. Lol. I saw in the thumb nail.)
22.) Ok. So. Wow. The entry. Both of them together. In the chand's light. That? Was? So? Freaking? Beautiful? Like? Wtf?
P.S. : So. Yeah. As I said. I am loving this show. The ending scene was perfect. It was so goddamn beautiful. Wow. Everything was perfect. Deva in black, Tara in red. Btw it was kinda surprising that Tara's chacha-chachi were in black while she in red(You know how it goes in some shows. The whole family is given the same color combination.) But it is also fitting because both of them are the black shadows in Tara's life while Deva, also in black, was given a see-through shirt underneath the coat, so I guess it was to show that he won't be completely black, like, black in the surface but his love for Tara would also be very much visible, just like his own skin is. Whatever. I over-analyzed the thing which did not need any analyzing. Lol. Whatever. Ok. Bye. God bless you.
#Tara-Deva#DevRa#Chand Jalne Laga#CJL#Loved the episode dammit#I am back#had an exam#might have another in the next month#let's see#ok#bye y'all folks#shubh prabhat/ratri#whatever#lol#Btw did you notice one thing#that brother rohan last time when he gave his sehgal promise and pushed tara to the ultimate limit of her grief#tara got deva in her life#and now after all these years when he again gave his SP#dayum#Deva is back in her life#i guess his SP is not all that panauti then#ok bye

Exaltation Series: Jupiter in Pushya
An exalted planet means this planet has reached the higher point in its own sky. There, the planet feels free to unleash its power for better... Or worse. The sign where the planet is exalted allows the planet to flourish, as well as the nakshatra where the exaltation degree falls.
Jupiter Exalted in Pushya
Jupiter gets exalted at 5° Cancer, that is to say, in Pushya nakshatra (Pushya: 3°20 Cancer to 16°40 Cancer). Jupiter gets exalted in Cancer. From a traditional perspective, it seems odd at first glance. Cancer is ruled by the Moon. And Chandra-Moon seduced and took away Tara, Brihaspati-Jupiter's wife. Some say that Jupiter's exaltation in Cancer is a punishment to him because he neglected his wife. Anyway, all of this aside, Jupiter gets exalted at 5°, in Pushya nakshatra. And how beautiful is it!... Pushya's ruler is Brihaspati himself. Brihaspati is the gods' priest, their teacher. Full of wisdom and knowledge, he advises the devas/demigods absolutely on everything. Jupiter can not be happier in this nakshatra. The natives are thirsty for knowledge. But they will also be inclined to follow rituals and rules. Jupiter in Pushya natives obey their parents and ancestors. They respect and honor their elders. Brihaspati is the priest. Morale, truth and tradition are Jupiter's key words. Jupiter reaches the heaven realms of righteousness in Pushya. The natives follow the traditions and want to pass them on to the future generations. Hence you find many Pushya natives in the education field. This position helps to become a scholar in any kind of field. Pushya is considered to be a highly auspicious nakshatra. It is often recommended to take action the day the Moon transits there and this action will be successful. However, only one thing is not advised: marriage. This is Pushya's weak point. But it is also Brihaspati's weak point. Remember when Chandra-Moon took away his wife and had a child with her, who happens to be Budha-Mercury... Obstacles are seen in marriages. When afflicted, the natives are pressured by their family. They doubt more than usual and they hardly find their purpose in life. Family elders put pressure on them and natives want to please them but they can not do it, which leads to lower self-esteem. They might eat too much, especially dairy products, which are not advised for afflicted Pushya natives. Jupiter's natural optimism weakens. Success is harder to gain. But the lesson to learn here is to trust God because Jupiter is the divine and he will always help you.

what is nawa based off of?
You just invited me to yap.
... And I love yapping.
Tara, Guanyin, and Janguli (first variety, multiple sources state that she is an emanation of either Tara or Guanyin).
Her soul was formed out of Guanyin's tears as the original Manawari died in the womb, hence the theme of purple (which is actually blue), but utpalas (blue lotuses) looked purple to me, so I figured to just use purple for her design.
Her themes are based around the water-moon motifs around her (the link I attached her refers to them as a 'he'. Guanyin has been been stated to have multiple forms, so...).
Allegedly, Tara's statue was found in Agusan del Sur, Mindanao, and her origins state that she was born when Guanyin shed a tear which fell into the ground and formed a lake, where Tara emerged from the lotus that rose from the waters (Britannica, 2011).
Additionally, I intentionally gave her a close brother-sister relationship dynamic with Red Son as a mirror to Guanyin and Shancai (Red Son's Buddhist name).
I may have to consult Abbess about this, rhrhrhhhrh, I haven't gone to the temple in so long but I will inquire her about the correctness of the information, so take this with a grain of salt
But Haliya/Mayari and Bakunawa come to mind, and I made them lower devas that are more interested in the world and have no knowledge of beings higher than them (Wikipedia, n.d.). She's descendants of them, but only exists to fulfill their wishes.
Since syncretization happens, some of Philippine myths and languages are influenced by Buddhism. Bakunawas are equated as Naga due to syncretization (Wikipedia, Cabrera, JR., and The Aswang Project, 2019 and 2012).
