They expected me to find somewhere, Some perspective, but I sat and stared (Aerys thinking Jon should be grateful despite all the pain he gets put through because Aerys didn't kill Jon, but instead Jon is horribly traumatized and hurt)

Right where you left me (this could be referring to Lyanna or Rhaegar depending on the mood. Lyanna left him by dying, Rhaegar left emotionally and mentally, offering no protection or love to Jon)

thinking about how the greens are so conquerors-coded. obviously aegon ii has those parallels to aegon i, a terrible legacy and expectation of fire and blood, but helaena also has parallels with rhaenys as a queen who’s considered a softer counterpart to her husband and beloved by the smallfolk.

then there’s aemond. possibly the most visenya-coded targ since the woman herself. he has her dragon, her penchant for war crimes, her commitment to her duty, potentially also her black magic depending on what the truth of his relationship with alys is — but i think the way he’s most like visenya is in his relationship with his siblings, especially aegon. he really is aegon’s visenya — his sullen, sometimes disagreeable protector. his sword will always fall on aegon’s side. he saves him at rook’s rest, rules the country in his stead and doesn’t try to take it, eventually dies trying to secure his crown. say what you will about aegon and aemond’s relationship, i think at the heart of it he has visenya-like devotion and duty.

Do you agree that if Rhea Royce had been alive when her son Baelon II's eye was taken out, she would have strangled Daemon and Rhaenyra at the very least, right? IT'S THAT I SAW THE POST ABOUT WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF LAENA WAS ALIVE AND NOW I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT RHEA.

you know what? let's talk about this.

if rhea had survived daemon's attack on her, you can bet your asses that she would be baelon ii's fiercest defender and supporter. baelon is her son, her entire heart, her priority. she loves her child more than anything.

rhea and daemon's marriage would have been annulled immediately the moment baelon tells the masses of how daemon tried to murder his mother. against all the tales and the fall of daemon's reputation, laena marries daemon. her fate is the same and utterly tragic. rhea was there with baelon at the funeral, comforting him softly as she knew that he was fond of laena and his half-sisters.

rhea is woke from her sleep and brought to a room where her son is missing an eye and alicent is all but wailing over her precious child. her rage that night is utterly untameable. she has to be held by the four guards to keep from imbedding her dragger into daemon's eye.

"you did this." she spits towards rhaenyra, all hate and spite and otto, in his anger, agrees with her words. "You put a sword in the hand of your son and instigated this fight. You are nothing but a coward but sits in her own jealousy. I pray that suffer the worst fate."

rhea royce's rage is one that not even king viserys can contain as he watches over his nephew anxiously at alicent's side.

"Mom." Baelon's tone is quiet with defeat and still with weariness. He's tired of this farce. Aemond helps him stand as aegon glares daggers at his nephews. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine."

rhea is barely calm as baelon glares at his father and for the first time, daemon flinches as seeing his son's injuries and baelon leads his mother back over to where alicent is, whispering quiet reassurances to both his mother and alicent.

news comes in the morning that viserys has banished rhaenyra, her children and daemon from king's landing for the next decade.

the victory is bitter for rhea but she won't allow her son to be hurt anymore.

The remains of the dragon fell first, the injured boy followed.

There was water so much of it. Filling the lungs of the boy. There was blood surrounding him. Blood from his dragon, his cradle mate, Arrax. His own blood was mixed with it too from the injuries left behind by the teeth of the she-dragon who tried to eat him.

There was blood, blood of the deceased dragon, blood of the wingless dragon.

There was water so much water.

There were scales from the remains of the young dragon.

And there was a need to survive.

A chant, a prayer to whoever is listening.

A will to survive for his sweet Arrax who gave his life trying to protect him, for his mother who is waiting for him, for his brothers, his sisters, for his grandfather, for himself.

There was fear

There was sorrow

There was fury

There was water, so much water in his lungs.

Then there was excruciating pain as if every bone was breaking and rearranging in his body. He let a silent scream escape and with it the little bit of oxygen that was keeping him from drowning. Then there was black.

“Lucerys”

With a jolt the boy woke up. He was breathing. There was air in his lungs. There was sand under him. There was the sound of water. He looked around. He was on land, the waves seemed to have carried him out. There were no remains of Arrax, but there was a trail of his pearlescent scales leading up to where he was.

The boy looked at himself. His clothes were barely holding themselves together, it seemed as if Vhagar had chewed him up and spit him out instead of just scrapping his leg with her tooth.

Looking at his leg there was no pain, no blood, but when he turned it onto his side where an injury should be, there was no injury.

But there was no skin either.

There were scales, pretty scales that reminded him of what the water stole, what his uncle stole from him.

The scales continued up to his side stopping at his waist. As he looked over himself that seemed to be the only thing wrong with his body. Where there should be a slash from teeth there were scales instead.

Lucerys survives the fall because of a blessing (or is it a curse?) that turns him into a sea dragon (like a siren/mermaid but with a dragon twist)

Had Daemon and Laena's son survived

No one ever thinks about how things would have been if Daemon and Laena's son had survived, and it's interesting because many things would be completely different had this boy survived -because yes people, in the book their son was born but he was deformed and died within an hour-.

Let's say Daemon and Laena call him Aellisar -they wanted to create a new name- before Laena getting her fever and dying (as it actually happened in the book).

Daemon would have an heir, and as in the book Baela and Rhaena were four when this happened, and in the show their age difference would not be as big as many other pairs, he could easily marry his firstborn daughter to his firstborn son as is the tradition of the Valyrians. I think Daemon would still marry Rhaenyra as a way of getting close to the Iron Throne and protecting his children from the Greens, and of course, because he loves her, but in this case he would need to be more convinced, the actual reassurance from Rhaenyra that she nor her allies will ever try to harm Aellisar as he unlike his cousins would be the only boy with both Targaryen and Velaryon blood.

Rhaenys and Corlys would be overjoyed of finally having "another" more like the only grandson of their own, and would love to teach him about the Velaryon heritage of his mother, Corlys would probably think about making Aellisar his actual heir but he would still have problems with the fact Aellisar carries the name Targaryen while Luke is a Velaryon, though only in name because his strong looks obviously do not come from Corlys nor Rhaenys.

Now going back to Daemon and Rhaenyra, the time lap in which Aegon the Younger and Viserys II are small infants would make even more sense, it's true we could say that in the show they took the time to make Baela, Rhaena, Jace, Luke and Joff feel comfortable around each other, but if Aellisar is still alive, Daemon and Rhaenyra would also need to raise and be there for him in those first years, especially since his mother is not there. As Baela would marry Jace, and Rhaena to Lucerys, they would need to find a suitable bride for Aellisar, possibly an heiress since he would be the firstborn son of Daemon and they would surely want to give him a wife who would be perfect for him and also to keep him from wanting to claim Driftmark.

And the greens would be terrified, here it is a boy with pure valyrian blood with claims both to Driftmark and the Iron Throne who is in the team with the most dragons, sooner rather than later Aellisar will have a dragon and will be a competent fighter.

Jon has heterochromia

one of his eyes are black/dark purple

the other eye is light purple

So I noticed a lot of people in fanfics go with the 'Rhaegar and Elia were never in love' thing, which makes sense, it was an arranged marriage, those are very rarely love matches, but I choose to go a different way.

I like to think they were both pretty into each other. Elia loved her silver prince and Rhaegar cared for the lovely princess. I like to think he wanted to create the three heads of the dragon just with her. I like to think that for those first few years after marriage they were happy but once Elia couldn't have more kids.....

In my AU Rhaegar was driven by his obsession with prophesy, so he ran off with Lyanna Stark to try and create the third head. Rhaegar told her it was for the greater good, Elia didn't exactly appreciate this, she didn't approve or want this, but she wanted to go with Rhaegar, she didn't want her children to be without there father and she was worried about what would happen after Rhaegar left. Rhaegar said she would be safe at home.

The war broke out and Elia wrote letters to Rhaegar and begged for him to come home or to take them with him, he wrote back once.

'This is what is necessary, I will return once my task is done.'

By the end of the war, their relationship was shattered, they were never as loving or close afterwards. Now they are more estranged and cold to each other.

Rhaegar in my AU was driven by prophesy, and becoming obsessed with prophesy has the ability to destroy everything. It doesn't matter what Rhaegars' intentions were with prophesy. He was obsessed, and it destroyed a lot of his relationships.

What would it be like if Jaehaerys' daughter Daenerys hadn't died? Would Aemon let their father marry them, letting Baelon have Aelyra all to himself?

mmmmm, i'm not sure about that. in the case of if daenaerys survived, she'd cling to aelyra for as long as she could. she'd absolutely directly sabotage aemon and baelon but it kind of depends on who daenaerys sees as a better match for her beloved sister and even then, aelyra has the most incredible stubborn streak. she won't let anyone choose her husband for her.

“I think what he needs is someone to love and someone to love him,” he said.

“Yes, probably," she agreed, "But we both know that person can’t be me. I’m a Targaryen, Lord Jon, and he hates Targaryens. Nothing I do will ever make up for the disaster and death that my father and brother caused the Seven Kingdoms.”

“None of that was in your control,” he said.

“No. I know that. But you see, it hardly matters to him. I’m guilty by association. I could try to fix it for the rest of my life and he’ll still look at me like I was the one to rape and murder his lady love.”
