I like the idea of zombie vultures (Riot Hazebeacons, Tatterwing Carcasses, etc.) being used as pretty common service animals in the Scarred Wasteland.

They've obviously got navigation down to help with that, they're big and smart enough to grab stuff or help someone stabilize themself, they can be a big comfort bird, they can seek out help pretty quickly, they can carry stuff around, and if they're made of bones and feathers they must be pretty low maintenance, save for feeding them. Plus, they probably don't die. Ever.

yeah. Two of my dragons (Hela and Jackdaw!) have zombie vultures as service animals for different reasons, and I kind of like the idea of these birds which lead/guide dragons (and which I imagine are widely regarded as guides and such) also being what would help dragons who need assistance in their everyday lives in the Wasteland. I imagine more traditional (by our standards, I suppose) animals like canines would also be options, but I can see zombie vultures being specifically reanimated or tamed for these purposes.

Depin is undoubtedly the first familiar i absolutely fell in love with. just love those guys. when i think of familiars i connected with instantly, they’re definitely the first to come to mind.

i also love all the vulture familiars..i got this url so like obviously Dire Vultures stand out a lot haha but i think Tatterwing Carcass is my fave aesthetically

i also adore the Florons haha..i think Lilium Floron is my fave of those. classic orange/green combo c: (thornhide is so good too though)

also the Leatherwing Boar..cool boar AND in trans colors :D

the Pukasloths are so cute too..love both colors they come in. and the Sweetheart Swan is great too haha..

fgsfdg there are dozens others i could name too..some amazing gators, snakes, bears, etc etc but this is probably enough of a ramble haha
