J20170907-0014—Grindelia ×paludosa—RPBG by John Rusk Via Flickr: Grindelia ×paludosa—Suisun gumplant. Suisun gumplant is, according to the Jepson e-Flora. a "putative stabilized hybrid between Grindelia camporum and Grindelia stricta var. angustifolia." The hybrid is known only from Suisun Marsh in the Sacramento River Delta. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.

T20080705A-20A--Grindelia hirsutula var hirsutula (Syn G humilus)--RPBG by John Rusk Via Flickr: Grindelia hirsutula—hairy gumweed. The taxonomy for the genus Grindelia is a mess too complicated for me to untangle in a short note. Those interested should read the _Flora of North America_ treatment for Grindelia hirsutula. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
