that might be the case for other people's relationships but most people see ttpd as a Matty album and that's fine if we disagree and it was not pointed at you, just generally what I have observed on swiftie tumblr.

I am interested to see if joe or matty show up on ts 12 and if yes then in what themes? I have a vague idea but am always surprised to see what she ends up bringing on the tayble (that was a pun) so we'll surely be fed!

the album has only been out for 4 months! post-tom breakup, people fought for months about how she treated him badly, how they actually really loved each other, how they were meant to be... some people even though they were secretly dating because (shocker) they assumed they knew what was going on in her life (ie, she was in england) and attributed it to the wrong situation (she was with joe, not tom.) and now, a few years later, that sounds unbelievable. time is funny like that! and it sounds kinda similar, right?

so a year from now, or when we're into ts12, and assuming she's with travis (or even someone else), people will stop caring so much about the matty of it because it will be absurd.

i do think we might still get shades of it, but i really think the second half of ttpd shows how her writing might look going forward. autobiographical, diaristic, blended with fiction, relying on other characters/stories in equal measure - and also tackling larger topics, big existential questions about how you regain control of your life, how you look back on your own regrets and mistakes, family, legacy, womanhood, and so forth.

But can we please talk about those people that used to be fans and now unstanned her (rightfully so) but are being so disgusting? I saw terrible things that people said about her for example ”I hope she gets raped” or calling her bad stuff like ‘taywhore’ or ‘tayble’ and wishing that she “dies because of her eating disorder”. I’m also not a a fan of hers anymore but you can still be at least a bit human and wishing death on someone is just terrible and you can express your disappointment somehow different cause being like this doesn’t make you any better than her.
