oh absolutely. it's not even so much wren doing something to piss taylor off, or wren getting in trouble even, if taylor tells wren no more chocolate milk before bed and travis is around, he's sneaking her a glass of chocolate milk because 'what mommy doesn't know won't hurt her' even though both of them know taylor knows exactly what's happening in the kitchen. if wrenny's clearly tired but fighting bedtime, travis is quick to be like 'lets go babygirl' and then he's scooping her up and telling taylor they're going to have some "quiet time" which really just means that wren has him sat at her desk and she's teaching him about drawing, but hey, eventually she goes to sleep and there aren't any nightmares that keep her up. but if wren is in trouble, travis' heart breaks because while he's constantly getting her out of 'trouble' he does know better than to undermine taylors authority when it matters. she's crying and just so sad, and its not like Taylor doesn't care or doesn't try to comfort her, but wrenny gets to awkward after being scolded that she only wants travis to comfort her because she thinks taylors mad at her. so in those moments, travis cuddles and kisses her and promises that taylors not mad until she believes it.
