Day 2 of the #tcdapfeb is to show My Art. I decided to focus on my dolls for my art, I haven't drawn or painted since I start my dolls.. some times I miss it, then I hang out with these girls 😃. I've always been creative since I was a kid. I loved drawing and so my husband encouraged me to go back to school. I did and studied Graphic design and absolutely loved it! It inspired me to become even more creative. I painted more and loved it. Eventually I came across these stunning BJD on Pinterest, totally out of my price range I saw that someone had repainted Monster high dolls to look like BJDs. Trying to get back in a more regular fun time art groove and doing another monthly prompt for #tcdapfeb Day 1: You. So this is me....well kind of. Instead of taking a selfie I figured I'd do this #meettheartist thing I've been seeing pop up alot on my Instagram feed. While it is impossible to list all of my likes/dislikes I drew out a few specific ones. Plutão não é mais planeta

Plutão não é mais planeta.. Plutão não é mais planeta. Plutão. Não é. Mais. Planeta. Plutão não é mais planeta. Esse fato me atingiu subitamente como um tapa na cara na madrugada fria dessa terça-feira sem graça. Plutão sempre foi o meu planeta preferido. Eu sabia o nome de todas as suas luas e o porquê de todos eles, tinha até decorados todos os dados técnicos e colecionava todos os tipos de imagens sobre o menor do nosso sistema solar no meu computador antigo. Eu era obcecada por Plutão. E eu não tinha percebido que tinha perdido meu planeta preferido até aquela noite. E,meu deus, quando eu percebi doeu. Doeu muito. Eu sei, faz muito tempo que decidiram que ele era pequeno demais para ser tão importante pra gente. Faz muito tempo e eu já devia ter me acostumado. Mas nunca pareceu ser real. Todos os meus livros de ciência ainda contavam com ele, os livros de astronomia da biblioteca perto de casa também. Toda vez que eu procurava por ilustrações do nosso sistema solar, ainda tinham 9 planetas desenhados no papel. E tudo isso fazia parecer que Plutão ainda era planeta pro mundo inteiro e aquilo tudo tinha sido só uma brincadeira de mal gosto. Mas ontem aconteceu algo engraçado. Engraçado como um pesadelo que te acorda de súbito no meio da noite e te faz dormir com a luz acesa. Eu estava ajudando minha priminha a estudar. Você lembra dela? Manuela. Você chegou a conhecer, mas ela ainda era tão pequenininha.... Enfim, eu estava a ajudando a estudar e ela teve que citar todos os planetas do nosso sistema solar para a prova de ciências. E ela, impressionantemente, só citou oito. Só oito. E eu nem pude corrigi-la, porque, tecnicamente, ela é que estava certa. E aquilo me matou. E cada um daqueles oito nomes arrancou um pedaço de mim. Foi súbito e doloroso, mas tudo bem. “Ela é só uma criança, as pessoas da minha idade ainda contam com Plutão” – Pensei. Mas então eu vi uma ilustração de uma artista que eu acompanho na internet. Ela tinha pintado, com perfeição, cada um dos planetas do nosso sistema. Cada um dos oito planetas. E foi aí que esse fato me socou o estômago e me atravessou por inteira. Plutão não é mais planeta. E eu chorei. Eu chorei, mas não foi por Plutão. Quando você foi embora, não pareceu real. Eu ainda tinha seu número gravado no fundo da minha mente e pensava que nunca iria esquecer. Quando você foi embora, eu percebi que nunca mais ia comer aquele risoto que só você sabe fazer, mas tudo bem, porque eu não quis comer risoto por muito tempo. Quando você foi embora, a nossa música não tocou na rádio por um bom tempo, por isso eu ainda achava que poderia te contar quando tocasse. Quando você foi embora, você ainda não tinha deletado nossas fotos e as pessoas sempre perguntavam de você onde quer que eu fosse. Quando você foi embora, eu ainda esperava você voltar todas as noites e ainda esperava acordar com a sua voz rouca e um beijo na testa. Quando você foi embora, eu ainda pensava nas suas alergias quando cozinhava e, todas as noites, eu deixava a porta aberta porque você sempre esquecia a chave.   Quando você foi embora, eu pensei que não fosse de verdade, eu pensei que não fosse pra sempre. Quando você foi embora, não pareceu real. Mas, esses dias, eu pensei em te ligar porque a nossa música tocou na rádio, mas eu não sabia mais seu número e a música não era mais nossa. Semana passada eu quis comer o seu risoto especial, mas, não importava se eu pedisse com jeitinho e carinho, você não estaria aqui para cozinhar pra mim. Esses dias eu vi que você apagou todas as fotos que tínhamos postado e eu, sem querer e sem pensar, apaguei a última que tinha guardado no meu celular. Hoje ninguém mais me pergunta de você não importa onde eu vá e, ao ouvir meu nome, não lembram mais do seu. Hoje, quando eu acordei de manhã, eu não esperei seu beijo nem sua voz. E só agora eu percebi que eu coloquei camarão na janta e tranquei a porta antes de ir pra cama. E foi quando eu percebi tudo isso que eu chorei. Foi aí que eu desabei.     Tudo isso foi tão súbito pra mim que eu chorei a madrugada de terça inteirinha, sem nem me preocupar com o barulho, não tinha ninguém do meu lado que eu tinha que tomar cuidado para não acordar mesmo, então que mal faria o barulho? Eu precisava vomitar esse soco no estômago o mais alto possível. E eu gritei. E eu pensei que o mundo fosse acabar, e eu quis morrer e vomitei e cuspi todo esse resto de sentimento na privada e deixei o “nós” que restava em mim enterrado no chão do meu quarto, e eu senti cada partícula das coisas que me mantinham presa a ideia de que você voltaria irem embora e se quebrarem no ar. E eu soletrei cada sílaba, do seu nome várias vezes, de várias maneiras até eu perceber que o nome, que eu antes sussurrava todas as noites antes de dormir, agora estava tão distante que parecia estranho. E eu chorei. Meu deus como eu chorei. Eu chorei muito. Chorei porque Plutão não é mais planeta e porque você não é mais meu. -

Darn it guys, I told you this might happen! I'm starting to revamp some of the older girls while I'm working on the new ones.
