Using sarcasm with Lusamine was usually a lost cause. She had a tendency to either miss it entirely, or, dismiss it without a response. Initially, she turns her head to zone in on the person addressing her, much in the way a motion sensing camera would activate upon picking up movement.

There was no body language suggesting that the comment was genuine, however. No traditional signs of typical emoting either, making it remarkably difficult for Lusamine to deduce this one’s motivation. And so, she can only come to one conclusion: it was a remark in jest.

this is a conversation to be had with each of the executives. alone. giovanni knows neither of them is fond of sudden changes in their schedules, but there's no such thing as the ' right moment ' to bring this topic up. no surroundings that could soften it – he wants, nor needs, no excuses to be handed out for his actions. and even if never spoken about, the aftermath of the events during rocket's undoubtedly darkest time seemed to hang over their every interaction – subtle yet heavy, like a noose, eagerly awaiting for either to hang themselves with it.
