I’ve done a few fun tag games lately, and this is what inspired me to start one of my own within Death Note! And since I’m ✨ procrastinating writing my oneshot ✨ (ugh), I figured I may as well do this! For shits & giggles, yk?

Basic premise/rules:

I’ll give a prompt here, and a few starting sentences. Then, I’ll tag some people and they write more sentences. They tag people and those people write more sentences. Eventually, they’ll form enough sentences to make multiple, entirely unique fics! Feel free to write as much as you want, but please don’t give a conclusion so others can add!

Tag as many people as you want & open tag is fine! And people can do it more than once (e.g. tagged twice from separate reblogs), there are so many different stories after all! It’ll work like a usual tag game where you reblog when someone tags you. Separate posts complicate things, so please just reblog! And no pressure either, if you don’t want to participate then don’t - entirely fine. 

If this is successful and all that, I’ll compile the responses, @ everyone and write a huge post with the complete fic thing. 

I’m excited to see the directions all of these fics go in! Also please make it as wacky as you’d like! But disclaimer: no NSFW and no gore.

Some starting lines...

Strangers, friends and foes. A circle of white garden chairs despite residing indoors, tall stone walls and heightened tension in the air. Something sticky surrounds Beyond Birthday’s seat and the smell is pungent in the air. Perhaps strawberry jam, perhaps blood, no one cared to ask. 

Three seats are empty, though the air around them is perhaps something tangible. On each of those empty seats is a piece of paper. The sessions do not start until everyone has touched the pieces of paper. But after hearing the first person scream and run, the others are hesitant to touch it. 

[Who screams and runs away? Who touches it after that? It is all up to you!]
