Win has never been one for tradition. He likes that he and Team have what some might call a nebulous beginning. Their relationship has never followed linear rules, which is just another facet of their relationship that Win tends to cherish. The fact that all their firsts tend to fall out of order is part of what makes their story that much more interesting.

You know that part in episode three where Win steps into the bathroom while Team is getting ready? And Team shouts out of surprise? You know what Win doesn't do? He doesn't mention sex, nor does he crowd Team's space and make advances. He immediately apologizes, leaves the bathroom, and keeps his back turned. Because having sex with someone doesn't give you the agency to do what you please, and personal space still requires respect. Read that again. Honorable mention of Win realizing Team is avoiding him and NOT crowding him. Win continues being the consent king. Not only the consent king but the consent king who canonically smells good.

If you were a WinTeam fic writer during the two-and-a-half-year gap between the end of Until We Meet Again in February of 2020 and the start of Between Us in November of 2022, the canon information available was:

just gorgeous . something something how when u say the words of love outloud everything just turns even more tender and sweet, the air drips with honey sweet nectar and the touches linger more and you make love. the way winteam touch eachother as if the other is sacred and glass like with so much of care and love, always love. these shots left me breathless because of how beautiful and in love they look, full of relief and reciprocation and desire. bounprem were perfect and when they said they focused on the emotions when acting out intimate scenes they absolutely nailed it, im so proud of them!
