Balance. Balance is hard. I mean look at the brave men and woman who walk the high wire without a net beneath them to save them from the inevitable bloody mess their body would make splattering on the ground if they fell. That's dark. Even for me. Moving on... where was I? OH Balance. Other than the previously mentioned, day to day Balance for day to day people is hard. And it's not just hard for the sheeple. I used to sit with this scrawny little kitten for hours on end after work. Letting her jump on me run around me pretend to attack me. And then, well life changed. Don't get me wrong. Actually you can take this however you see fit but when he returned I retreated. I've written, spoken, prayed and mulled this over in my mind more times than anyone would want to hear about especially since I began to bore myself. But he arrived... and I was there to welcome him. I had no idea that my soul, ugg fuck that I'm so tired of saying "soul" he and I were about to set out on a journey rushed and pushed by the guiding winds that support us and I was all in. But it came at a cost. Does everything good and meaningful come at a cost? I have yet to over think that idea but I'm sure it's on one of my lists. So I'll speak on just this...I stopped sitting with the kitten everyday. I stopped sitting with every kitten. Okay, okay I tried...metaphorically speaking I stopped everything. Everything stopped me except for him. To this point we've spoken. He and I. "We needed that time together" "we bonded by spending every waking hour, fuck every sleeping hour together and I relished in it. I sat comfortably on the most beautiful pink cloud I had ever had put before me. Because after all he was sent. I mean I know that so surely by now you must know the same. Balance. "All in" is an absurd statement. I was, I am I forever will be all in but it will always come at a cost. Balance, what price can I put on that compared to what we have.

I suppose my point if I were to ever arrive at one would be that balance doesn't exist. It is talked about in self help books, TV shows, fuck even church. But in my house there is no balance but there is more than enough love to even the scale on the triple beam. (You'll only get that if you were a 90's burnout and that's okay) I'm going to stop looking for balance except where absolutely necessary and I may even begin to live my life like every day is the last in this realm. Of course there is the little one. I'll continue to try my best to parent her with some of the ideology I was brought up on but only for this single reason... so that she too can one day question "what is balance. Do I need it, can I attain it and does it directly affect my love for myself and others?" IF not... fuck balance. EVERYTHING ALL AT ONCE.

Stella isn't abusive. She's a victim of cheating and has evert right to be pissed off at Stolas for cheating. If she had better writing and V*vz*e wasnt terrible at writing women, more people would be able to see that

I've already talked about the whole thing about how women are written in this show. At this point, y'all just need to be patient. We only have 9 eps, and yet y'all are expecting whole arcs to be finished by now. Yes, we have learned more about others like Stolas, but that's not development. Development is progression (and sometimes regression). None of the characters have really changed much from the first season. Calm down.

Now....does Stella have the right to be angry? Yes. Does she have the right to talk down to Stolas? Hmmmm...maybe. Does this mean she has the right to hurt Stolas? No. Definitely not. There is no justification for even THINKING about putting your hands on your partner, unless it's for defense ofc.

You do not hit anyone no matter how pissed you may be, especially if it's done so easily like Stella did. Stella getting so shocked by Stolas catching her wrist, shows that this wasn't the first time she's done this. I don't see how anyone can justify something like this.

Also, what do people mean when they say "better writing"? You mean....going along with your headcanons? Like, seriously, if you were to keep the plot the way that it is, it feels like people just want justifications for her actions. I'm sure we will get more about Stella, especially in the Andrealphus ep, but none of it will justify what she's done. No matter how crappy her childhood might be, it does not justify her hurting anyone and def does not justify her choking animals.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying people's frustration or criticisms are invalid. I am completely fine if you dislike the way she's written or just dislike the writing. However, that is your opinion, not a fact. Also, understand that we are still fairly early on in the series and things are bound to change.

Saying Stella is "badly written" or "one-note" as some half-assed critique is so annoying. Y'all didn't seem to care about one-note female antagonists when it came to Lady Tremaine, Cruella De Vil, Mother Gothel, Evil Queen, or even Ursula.

I understand it's more about the writing, but it leaves such a bad taste in my mouth when I see #TeamStella or #StellaDeservesBetter. Like...tell me you support Amber Heard without telling me you support Amber Heard /hj

Tl;dr: If y'all really are trying to pretend to be woke, then you'd understand that women can be abusers and that there's not much that can validate/justify that behavior.

Bank statements and lunch accounts jujitsu money is over due. Struggling just to breath in a room deplete of oxygen. No idea how to fix it them all let alone one. But at bedtime the water is mixed with her essential oils. The diffuser flowing from one color into another. Her leg across mine hot to touch like her daddy's. Night noises from the cats only drown out by the sound of her breathing in...then out. With no idea where we'll land I know for sure we'll be holding hands. No matter how tall or grown her years on earth make her she will always be my joy maker
