me: so just like. a word, usually.
Victorian: a word related to the product, or-
me: no just a random word
Victorian: huh. because I'd have thought
me: yeah
Victorian: a word related to the product's alleged best qualities
me: no no it's just any word really. the founder might have some reason behind it, but it only makes sense to them most of the time
Victorian: interesting

🇺🇸 As we approach Chrysler's 100th anniversary, Frank B. Rhodes Jr., great-grandson of company founder Walter P. Chrysler, is raising concerns about the brand’s future and wants to take action to rescue it. In a recent open letter to “investors and workers,” Rhodes announced his plan to revitalize Chrysler and its related brands—Dodge, Ram, and Jeep—under new “American” ownership.
🚗 Stellantis, the current parent company of Chrysler, has come under criticism from Rhodes for its management of the brand, which he claims has been severely neglected. The Chrysler brand currently offers only one vehicle, the Pacifica minivan, while several promising concept cars, such as the Chrysler Airflow, were shelved before reaching production. Rhodes highlighted Stellantis’ focus on European brands like Citroën and Peugeot, arguing that Chrysler has been left behind.
💼 Rhodes, who has been a Chrysler ambassador for over 40 years, points to his family’s legacy and his own ownership of the final Chrysler 300C as reasons for his dedication to the brand. He submitted a 17-page proposal to Stellantis executives, inviting them to a confidential discussion on reviving Chrysler. His plan includes giving equity stakes to employees, echoing the worker-centered vision of his great-grandfather, who founded the company on principles of American ingenuity and innovation.
📉 Rhodes also expresses concern about the future of Dodge, which has focused heavily on electric vehicles (EVs) despite its core customer base being more interested in American muscle and performance cars. He argues that Stellantis’ push toward an all-electric lineup by 2028 for Chrysler is out of step with market trends, where hybrids are gaining popularity. The all-electric path, Rhodes warns, could be disastrous for the brand’s future.
🔧 Despite these challenges, Rhodes remains optimistic about the potential to rebuild Chrysler as a symbol of blue-collar luxury and innovation. He is calling for a return to American-designed and built products, and greater autonomy for Chrysler and Dodge within Stellantis. Rhodes’ ultimate goal is to rescue the brand from what he sees as poor management and ensure that Chrysler survives to celebrate its next century.
🚨 As Chrysler fans prepare for the 100th anniversary celebrations next summer, including a large event in Pennsylvania, Rhodes is urging action to prevent the brand from fading into obscurity. Without intervention, he warns, Chrysler’s future looks bleak.

Man I'm already disappointed to be working in the business field anyway but if it's going to mean mass corporate layoffs every 1-2 years as a standard practice then I might just disappear into the mountains
#losing all of my coworkers AGAIN. after just losing all of my last team this same time last year#like i just settled in with this new team. i only even officially moved over here like... maybe 6 months ago?#after floating in limbo without a team for the previous 6 months#and now im losing all of this team too#and if things go the way theyre looking it seems like i wont even have an established new team to move to?#like ill just be the last one standing on this team again. but instead of taking over what i could from my old team and carrying it with me#ill be the only one left on our fucking tech operations team with no idea how any of the stuff my coworkers are in charge of works#gonna have a brand new boss probably from outside the company probably expecting me to fill them in on what we do#and ill be like lol i dont fucking know chief. we're gonna have to figure it out together#once again i am remaining here essentially ONLY on a technicality#last time it was bc i had been moved under my boss's boss for a special project right before my team got shut down#this time its bc i happen to already live near the home office despite being wfh#who knows what will happen next year. im just flying by the seat of my pants here ig#i just hope i can at least finish my degree first so i can have a better chance of finding a job in the future if anything happens#i was thinking about lowering my course load bc im getting burnt out but uh#with 3 courses per semester and an additional course wach summer itll already take me until 2027 to graduate#so. not trying to push it much further than that. especially since my job is the one paying my tuition#rambling

Having been very music-focused lately, I kept wondering why I favour music with synth-heavy instrumentals when I didn’t really grow up on that - my parents listened to a variety of music around me but what I listened to most as a little kid was stuff like Joni Mitchell and Missy Higgins, neither of my parents were really into new wave stuff or synthpop or anything so I didn’t encounter anything like that until I was in my teens for the most part.
Then I realised, I’m pretty sure the thing that sparked my love of synthesisers was actually the little Casio keyboard I got as a hand-me-down from my older brother. I used to sit for hours and just play random stuff on it, like learning to copy songs from games or movies I liked. That thing is still in the house somewhere and as of a couple of years ago it still works perfectly fine despite being probably over 30 years old now. I’m now going to fight the urge to derail this post into a ramble of how much I love Casio products
#like the one I’m wearing right now!! I have one of their really cool calculator wristwatches and this thing fucking rocks#I don’t use the calculator function SUPER often but it’s just so pretty#I’ve had it for around a year now and it is soooo resilient. I work as a barista almost every day#so this thing has had a LOT of hot coffee and milk spilt on it#I just take it home and wear it in the shower and I scrub it like it’s another body part. no issues at all so far#i wish Casio made a wider variety of things (not that they aren’t already a very versatile brand!!) bc it just lasts and works#like they’re probably the only company who makes tech that isn’t designed to break within a year#and it all has such a utilitarian chic to it. its efficiency with no more bells and whistles than necessary. it gets the job done#I fucking love Casio

So like when does chatgpt start having advertisements in its responses? Because every time I hear a student say they use chatgpt "just to help with research" i wonder when it'll quietly start prioritizing sites from sponsors. "Oh, you want some sources about [subject]? Well here, have this article from [news site that gives us money]!"
#openai used to be a research company but now they're a business#scientific progress is not profitable so they won't make any more meaningful advancement to the field of machine learning#their goal now is to make money. problem is they grew too fast#they're already a worldwide brand so they're running out of people to trick into investing#which means they're already at the end of the tech ponzi scheme roadmap#their only option now is to squeeze as much money as they can out of their users before they go bankrupt#which means it's enshittification time baybee!

being so unbelievably attracted to transfemme butches sometimes feels like being one of those orchids that can only be polinated by a single species of hummingbird that is slowly going into extinction because of how impractical that is
#ok secondary thought is orchids sometimes doing that the evolutionary equivelant of when a tech company refuses#to join standardization to try and retain a more loyal userbase and it works for a little bit because having a branded ecosystem works#until eventually the userbase dries up and the company is forced to join the standard

this is such a specific pet peeve but the error message "slow charging, please use the cable provided with this device" drives me insaneeee like hello you are the device. give me numbers. tell me how many amps you want so i can buy whatever damn cable i would like to buy stop trying to force me to use your proprietary accessories by making it inconvenient to find information about the electronic devices that i myself purchased and now own
#ohhh but we'll scare consumers if we throw jargon at them we have to treat everyone like they're an idiot baby who can't do shit#numbers are so scary everyone will just stop using their phones forever if we educate them about how they work#like not to sound conspiratorial but sometimes i think tech companies deliberately discourage people from learning more about technology#because if everyone knew how their phones worked they could make more informed decisions about them#and then they wouldn't rely so much on services like apple's repair shit#so it's not in apple or samsung etc's best interest for consumers to really understand anything about their phones#just keep buying the brand name charging cables don't worry about why#bri babbles

The Future of Experiential Design: Exploring Emerging Technologies and Trends
Since the advent of technology, there has been an astounding degree of advancement that surpassed the expectations of even the most eminent minds. Out of a myriad of industries, one domain that has excelled at a significant pace is experiential design. For more than a decade, experiential brand marketing has emerged as a pioneering alternative in contrast to the traditional or conventional approaches. It has been a game-changer for several brands that yearn to construct an emotional connection between their potential customers and their products with technology and creativity at their back.
However, it does beg the question, what exactly is Experiential design, and what future does it hold for every experiential design company?
Experiential Design is an orchestra of multisensory environments born from extraordinary creativity fused with advanced technology. It teleports a participant beyond passive observation by creating interactive engagements and compelling narratives from spaces. This endeavour aims to evoke the participants' emotions and inquisitiveness, where the entire narrative revolves around them. Herein, Tagbin, which is often hailed as the best tech experiential company in India, has created several benchmarking projects that make every pair of eyes marvel at its grandeur.
The Emerging Technologies
While advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, are deemed fashionable concepts in the modern world for many, for every experiential design company, they serve as an indispensable tool in their arsenal. These technologies are the very source of driving captivating narratives by analyzing the visitor’s behaviour, preferences, etc. As a result, every engagement experienced by a visitor is not identical to the other, but rather it is the content that is personalized and adjusted to create an enthralling experience.
One of the pillars that steered Tagbin toward being the best tech experiential company in India is their efficiency in utilizing technological prowess to craft lasting memories in the minds of a visitor. One such emerging technology wielded by Tagbin in its projects that has redefined the boundaries of possibilities is spatial transformation. Herein, the physical spaces are interchanged by transporting visitors to new dimensions through interactive projections and a dynamic environment. It makes one rethink the feats that could be achieved through the optimal exercising of technology, wherein every space is an interactive canvas meant for exploration, transcending passive observation.
How Experiential Marketing is Driving Sales and Leads
Gone are the days when consumers were mere passive recipients of advertising; today's audiences and brands seek never-seen-before experiences that stretch their eyes with wonder and touch their emotions. Experiential brand marketing companies utilize state-of-the-art technologies to deliver a whole new meaning and perception toward marketing and the brand's presence in the market. One such prime example is hologram projections, wherein projecting lifelike images and scenes doesn't just engage the senses; they spark conversations and leave unforgettable memories
Tagbin, being an experiential design company, goes beyond the ordinary and facilitates an engaging environment that not only speaks length about the brand’s product but also immerses the visitors to a degree where they themselves become the brand’s advocates. Experiential brand marketing is a beacon of innovation in a world disbursed with information, offering a path to authentic connections and meaningful engagement.
Live Spectator Events & Art Installations
Various technologies are a requisite for making live spectator events a great success. In addition to resorting to AI, ML, and spatial transformation, Augmented Reality and Virtual reality are the architects of alternate realities, which is crucial for every live spectator event. The harmonizing of the virtual and real world makes the experience surreal, which speaks to the gravity of the future that experiential design holds in engagement and marketing.
Before the era of experiential technology, art installations were merely perceived as visually appealing. However, owing to leading companies, such as Tagbin, they are also narratives told through innovative mediums, making powerful statements and evoking emotions through storytelling. Herein, sculptures morph, transform, and interact with the audience, creating a convergence of physical and digital artistry that fosters a sense of participation and connectivity.
Why Tagbin Is Emerging As The Leading Experiential Design
Tagbin, an experiential design company that has surpassed both the expectations and the boundaries of experiential designing, has been a beacon light for several entities in determining the magnitude of experiential design and its future. Time and again, Tagbin has revolutionized different fields and a brand’s effectiveness with its innovative creations.
Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya
This remarkable project of Tagbin is a museum dedicated to the Prime Ministers of India. It exhibits India's journey of 75 years through the eyes of the Prime Ministers. Displaying art and history, an epic 7.5 hours of content is crafted using tech, such as AR, VR, and Robotics.

The entertainment zone, called Anubhuti and the AR-integrated exhibit are the special highlights of this project, wherein everything circles around the visitor, allowing them to engage and play. Several AR-integrated exhibits enable them to walk alongside their preferred Prime Ministers. Additionally, by using VR-integrated helicopter rides, people can glimpse the futuristic projects while also having the luxury of receiving a personalized letter signed by their favourite PM through an AI-built handwriting robot.
Tagbin Teleportation Bus
This bus provides a virtual experience facilitated by technologies such as Group Virtual Reality and 4K transparent screens powered by CPU and GPU systems that showcase 3D content on all four sides, including the sunroof.

G20 DEWG Digital Experience Centre
Tagbin conceptualized a Digital Experience Centre at the G20 DEWG meeting held in India. Herein, they showcased the key initiatives under the programme through several AI-based interactive installations. One such exhibit was 'Ask AI', wherein an interactive LED wall with the projection of an AI face answered the tech-based questions of the users.

Similarly, another interactive AI installation offered solutions to life-based crises, stretching to the spiritual levels. The most standing interactive was the AI avatar that enabled visitors to see themselves in avatars never imagined before. It also involved a mixture of advanced technologies, such as Augmented Reality, VR, ML, and so on, to create eleven knowledgeable experiences for the visitors.
With each innovation and project, such as those of Tagbin, we inch closer to environments that are not only informative but also transformative. The future of experiential design promises a symphony of imagination and technology where the boundaries of possibility are continually redefined. It is a strong message for industries to embrace emerging technologies and pioneer new frontiers. With Tagbin, the only limit that could ever be to experiential designing is the extent of one’s imagination.
