post canon hag romance are travelling adventurers but I also like the idea that astarion keeps correspondence with his siblings and he’s very updated on what’s happening to the underdark vampires. astarion and shri’iia are on their own little quest to find a cure for the vampirism — or at the very least, find something that can either help to sate the hunger or help him walk under the sun (but a cure would be best). they do their heroic deeds and collect the favours, and when it’s time to cash in they’re always asking looking for something that can help alleviate some of the vampirism symptoms. and if they find something, and it works for astarion, they go off and send it to the underdark coven. I also like the idea of astarion visiting them too from time to time, except shri’iia doesn’t risk going down in the underdark anymore or else she might face lolth’s punishment, so she will send him instructions and advice on navigating through the underdark, what to look out for and what to avoid, then she’ll wait patiently for him to return up the surface again.

in his part knowing how homesick she sometimes get, he’ll bring her something from the underdark (like food or fungi or whatever funky thing he finds) and gifts it to her the moment he returns. I like the idea that he tends to look out for any underdark/drow items in the surface too, bc shri’iia is still very attached to her home even though she’s forced to leave it behind, and he buys her any items he finds (and bonus points if it’s jewellery of some kind) bc she knows she’ll appreciate it. I also like the idea that she teaches him how to speak in drowic too hehe, and a majority of the names she’ll call him are the very few drowic endearment terms with the main one being alurlssrin. anyway I like the idea of shri’iia still keeping in touch with her culture even though she’s divorced from it now, since one of the biggest change she experienced when she was dropped off in the surface was the fact that no one spoke her language until minthara came along, and she’s not fluent in common tongue either.

forever mad that HoO introduced Diocletian's scepter as an object but. gave it to Nico and had Jason promote Frank about it.

Like. Okay here is an object that can summon the dead. It can only be used by a child of Hades/Pluto and a Roman officer in unison. HAZEL IS RIGHT THERE!!!!!

Nico can already summon the dead! He doesn't need a special object for it! Literally IN THE SCENE WHERE THEY GET THE SCEPTER, NICO RAISES THE DEAD. HE'S NOT WEAK ENOUGH THAT HE CAN'T! Hazel meanwhile has never raised the dead before (kind of - she did a little bit like once)! Theoretically she's fully capable of it but she's never properly tried it before! Giving her an object to help facilitate practicing with that would be perfect, especially given the scepter expires after a certain number of uses! Also, since Hazel ends up a praetor in TOA anyways, there's no reason why she shouldn't get promoted to be able to use the scepter all on her own! In fact her getting promoted in the House of Hades would be the perfect place to do so because it's a scene where she's taking the lead and saving everyone else! In fact it's a significantly better place to promote her to praetor over the scene where she ACTUALLY gets promoted! And even if you don't have Hazel promoted instead, then you'd still have it be Hazel and Frank working together to command the armies of the undead, which is perfect because they're a couple and it'd be a great way to show how well they work together!!!!!

LITERALLY THERE IS NO REASON TO NOT GIVE IT TO HAZEL. WHAT'S THE DEAL.

Everyone clapped as the group of your friends gathered around the table finished singing to you.

After closing up Onigiri Miya you and Osamu set up a table where you and your friends could enjoy a small dinner in the restaurant. Nothing crazy, just a get together with close friends, ordered a cake from the grocery store. Seated on Osamus knee, you lean forward towards the cake flinching at Sunas phone camera taking a picture of you blowing out your candles, before coming back snuggling into his side as you were before.

"Did ya make a wish?" He asked wrapping an arround your body.

"Even if I did, I'm not telling you. It won't come true otherwise," You gave a dopey smile as you crossed your arms playfully.

"Yea? Well yer birthday ain't over yet, there still plenty of time for me to make you wishes come true"

Flinching again at the flash of Rintaros phone you turned toward him questioningly.

"What was that one for?"

"Look."

He chuckled as he turned the phone toward you showing you the picture he just took. You and Osamu making goo goo eyes at eachother snuggled up nice and cute and then Atsumu behind you making visceral gagging faces.
