New designs, new characters, and hopefully new motivation-

Premise: Years ago, a spaceship/factory hybrid carrying an artificial race of physics-defying biomechanical machines created from “borrowed” Earth technology, among other creatures, crashed into a polluted, uninhabited Earth archipelago, its extraterrestrial ink mutating the discarded objects into living creatures and giving said island an all-new life.

Now, we see the life of the machines after they’ve become the “Inky-Pelago”’s dominant species. The days of a TechToon are full of adventure, mystery, surrealism, and danger… good thing they have regenerative abilities!

I hope to have these guys in animated form soon!!!

Little did he know that there was a large cost.....

Creature Crunch, an animated point-and-click adventure game, published in 1996 by Class6 Interactive & TechToon Ltd., and seemingly the only game these companies published or developed. The plot is about a boy named Wesley, who wanders into the evil Dr. Drod’s mansion and is turned into a monster. In order to escape, he has to eat various objects, which trigger transformations that can help him solve puzzles and deal with the other monsters in the mansion. 

The game was notable for it’s art style, which is very reminiscent of John K of Ren & Stimpy fame, and for featuring voice acting by Martin Short and Eugene Levy. The game’s pretty obscure and a bit hard to get running on modern PCs, and there isn’t even a full English playthrough on Youtube (there are a couple of Spanish playthroughs though). Youtuber The1Nostalgic did upload a partial playthrough, covering the first 20 minutes, here and here. 

I’d really like to give this game a playthrough sometime, as if nothing else it has a really neat style to it.

"Like actual canines, Timepires and Toonpires alike howl to communicate with other Timepires/Werepires that are far away. The most likely only one that follows the trope of canines howling at the moon is TickTock's Toonpire form Lullabye, as to him, the moon sometimes looks 'mournful', and it usually reminds her of how people need their help. This prompts her to howl in sympathy and sorrow."

Tonight's not only a full moon, but a blue moon, which prompted me to do a redraw!!!

Sketchy Built From: Drawing Tablet Color: Dark Violet Gender: Male A very eccentric and sheltered OctoToon who works as an Ink Serpent farmer. He is destructive, twisted, and overall rather awkward, but not truly malicious. Sketchy loves to party, draw art that is never shown to the audience but frequently horrifies and/or disgusts the other Toons, and hang out with his best frenemy Countess TickTock. Sometime, he wants to collaborate with Sonata and/or Silk, but they’re not too sure. He can shoot ink from his mouth and tentacles and draw objects that work like how their real versions do with his pen-tail.

Due to a majority of reasons, I decided that Ink Serpents will be more of mere animals, including Twist. A new design will be made sometime soon. But I decided to find a loophole and make an all new TechToon with a similar personality based on old Twist.
