The Repentant Brotherhood 04: Reception of Primaris
A shorter one this time - once again, thoughts and feedback are all welcome - enjoy :)
While The Brotherhood didn’t actually receive Primaris forces - Dark Angel emissaries supplied The Repentant Hold with the Primaris production technology, whilst being suspicious of it. The Brotherhood’s Techwrights deconstructed the technology to understand the processes and to find anything that may have been hidden within.
Since receiving the Primaris technology, The Brotherhood has opted to convert recruits into Primaris Astartes in small numbers and monitor other Primaris Astartes forces to gather information on the new breed of Astartes before accepting them wholeheartedly.

It was exhausting.
Techwrights underfoot.
Enginseers wandering about of uncertain loyalty.
It was terrifying.
A colossal sunsear laser, a lascannon in macro, was slowly being pulled out, while a pair of Fury Interceptors engaged in training maneuvers above the spacedock. Sporadic shotgun fire came over the vox as Armsmen patrol LIV pushed back yet another gang assault.
No hullghasts, thank Terra, but two work crews had needed replacing after breaching an eel nest. The ships eerie residents protected their home after all.
Maybe that was why there were no hullghasts.
He was antsy, but if he was Anastasia was a bundle of manic energy, constantly running between the Grouper's berth and his, hesitating and she watched attack craft, and flushed when selecting crew.
Was it really time for her to swim beyond the reef? Probably.
Could she be trusted?
He hoped so.

Dissonia - An Enigma of Chronotechia and Harmonixian Paradoxes - Prologue 1
In a world where the population was divided between magic-users and non-magic users, those without magical abilities had turned to technology to level the playing field.
The kingdom of Magitech, where this story unfolds, had achieved a unique balance between the two. Within the bustling city of Cogville, non-magic users known as "Techwrights" had built a society where machinery, invention, and innovation thrived.
Cogville's factories hummed with the sound of gears and steam, and airships powered by crystal-fueled engines filled the skies. But beyond the city's towering walls in a not so distant city lay the mystical town of Lumina, where the "Arcanists" practiced their magical arts. Lumina's forests held ancient secrets, and the light of enchanted crystals illuminated their paths.
Even though they lived peaceful with eachother tensions between the two factions grew, This tension is deep rooted and grounded in the history of both factions.
A Curious young Techwright named Elara ventured deep into the forest discovered an ancient artifact that bridged the gap between magic and technology, setting off a chain of events that would determine the fate of Magitech.
Elara's discovery of the artifact, believed to be a powerful and uncontrollable magical device, set off a wave of fear and suspicion between Cogville and Lumina. Each side accused the other of seeking to harness the artifact for their own gain.Tensions escalated, and diplomatic efforts failed to ease the growing animosity.
The leaders of Cogville and Lumina mobilized their forces, and soon, the realm found itself on the brink of a devastating war.
As Elara watched the chaos unfold, she realized that the only way to avert disaster was to find a way to harness the artifact's power for good and demonstrate that magic and technology could coexist. With the help of a few brave souls from both sides who shared her vision, but ultimately all their efforts were not enough because the animosity between the two nation has already reached a peak, It was an animosity rooted in them since before the discovery of the artifact. The artifact was merely a catalyst for the inevitable war.
The war went on for some decades until Elara, realizing the catastrophy the artifact she had uncovered, made the ultimate sacrifice. She channeled the artifact's power to end the war between Cogville and Lumina. Her act of selflessness brought a temporary peace that lasted for a few hundred years, during which the two factions learned to coexist, if somewhat uneasily.
But as time passed, the descendants of the Arcanists aged more slowly than the Techwrights, leading to a growing sense of vengeance among the Arcanists which the techwright's decendants had since forgotten and moved on. To add to the wound the techwrights also wanted independence from the kingdom of magitech because of the increasing population and innovation they had achieved offshoot villages and towns where created and settled in by other non magical-welding individuals around the world.
The arsonist held a deep grudge for the perceived wrongs committed by the Techwrights' ancestors and became extremely fearful of the advancements the techwrights had achieved and were also fearful that one day the techwrights would become to powerful that they would decide to wipe them out. It wasn't long before a faction of Arcanists decided to take matters into their own hands.
These vengeful Arcanists, who felt that the Techwrights had forgotten the sacrifices made for peace, initiated a war against the descendants of the Techwrights, reigniting the ancient conflict with even greater ferocity. The world was once again on the brink of chaos, with Elara's sacrifice merely a distant memory. The war in its early stages, the Arcanists, consumed by a growing desire for vengeance, became increasingly twisted in their ideology.
Some of them began to believe that the only way to secure their future and rid the world of perceived threats was to eradicate all non-magic wielding individuals, the Techwrights.
This extreme faction within the Arcanists grew in power and influence, spreading a dangerous doctrine of supremacy that painted those without magic as lesser beings. As their ranks swelled, they launched a ruthless campaign to exterminate the Techwrights and anyone associated with technology.
The world of Magitech was plunged into a devastating conflict, with the Arcanists' campaign to eliminate non-magic users threatening to rewrite the very fabric of society. The Techwrights found themselves facing a dire and existential challenge.
Amidst the chaos and hatred, hope was rekindled through the reincarnation of Elara's spirit into a young boy named Aiden. Born into a family of poverty and witnessing all those he loved like his siblings and parents succumb to death due to poverty, Aiden grew up in a harsh environment, far removed from the innocence of Elara's previous life. Yet, deep within him, a burning desire for change smoldered.
Despite the hardships, Aiden's heart carried the genuine wish to make the world a better place, much like the noble goals of Elara. Unbeknownst to him, he bore the spirit of the one who had once sacrificed herself for peace. However, he had no recollection of his past life, only an innate sense of purpose.
As he embarked on his journey, Aiden found himself en route one of Cogville's offshoot towns, where he became versed in the ways of technology. Aiden's actions, though initially driven by self-preservation, began to take on a greater significance. With each step, he started to understand the injustices that had plagued the world and the suffering of both Techwrights.
As the genocidal Arcanists gained popularity and power within their own nation, their extremist ideals spread like wildfire. They transformed their realm into an authoritarian kingdom that became a major threat to the entire world. The escalating tensions and threat posed by the Arcanists forced Cogville to unite as one, with both the Techwrights And other small nations joining together. Their initial goal was self-preservation, but as the full-blown war unfolded, it became clear that the Arcanists' desire for dominance threatened the very existence of the Techwrights and their way of life.
A war of survival gave way to a ruthless campaign to wipe out the Arcanists from the face of the world. The conflict reached a scale previously unimaginable, with Cogville forces striving to end the tyranny of the Arcanists and protect the future of technology and innovation.

Mesmer: “Ah yes that’s a story! Me, Rezhi, Pierce and Techwright were on a space station. I was there to perform one of my shows for some money.”
Pierce: “I was there to find a job, as I’m a mercenary, and well this is the job now.”
Rezhi: “I was just kind of exploring around.”
Techwright: “I happened to be visiting, but also seeing if there were people I could help and so I found this group.”
Mesmer: “Yes so we were all sort of just doing our own thing, when we spotted Moff, whom we did not know yet at the time, being chased by some shady people. Turns out they had managed to escape from the smugglers. After that it ended up our job to get Moff back to their planet and we got in contact with Critz and his, well, crew, Ratt and Crew, to help us get there.”

Blog Rolllllll - StarLight.3729
Am I doing this right? (Bolded names and links to make for easy reading)
Anyway I have a few characters that do not have tumblrs, which I will add at the bottom just for the sake of opening some more hooks perhaps. But I am mainly trying to promote my blogs since I have recently started following so many more people that remain strangers. And even some of the first week followers I have yet to sit down with to plot.
I am open for approaches and ideas, please throw me a message somewhere, get in touch and let’s plan some stories together. My muses deserve some love once in a while. As do yours!
This blog https://jessicabrandon.tumblr.com/ of course is my main, hello I am posting from it.
Jessica is the proprietor of Black Lace Gin, a company under the Castelli business umbrella ( @mistercastelli ) She is also Secretary to the Vice Legate Minister Lady Aguillard ( @stellasparkles ) A young and ambitious woman who has risen from her common background to ever growing prominence. Plots for business, connections and perhaps even darker themes are welcome. Manipulation, etc. (Could try both ways!)
Next up we have https://ranyanadir.tumblr.com/
Ranya is the daughter of Lord Rasim Nadir (A PC) and Lady Ayla Nadir (My PC) both former Ministry Guard. She is a young noble from a very large family (through her mother’s Vabbian lineage) Ranya is currently discovering herself and learning first hand about the world, she ventured to Elona when the path opened and is striving to find means to support her father’s return “home” to Istan.
I also play Lord Adil Azhaar (no tumblr) who is the eldest son of the current head of house Azhaar from which Ayla hails as youngest of several children. He is heir to the house and has evaded marriage and children despite pressure, rather enjoying his decadent and spoiled brat lifestyle without responsibility.
Then there is https://lordnolanquinn.tumblr.com/
This Lord has reached an advanced age and has not had much luck with heirs. In his younger years he loved a woman with whom he had two children that were taken away to force Nolan into accepting the need for him to marry a noblewoman and produce legitimate heirs. Now he has divorced the wife ( @rainaisenhart ) he eventually took and has started to look for his children ( @vacantmansuetude ) and a possible spouse he could not only feel affection for but also one to carry him children.
NEXT UP https://rupertgrant.tumblr.com/
Still a very fresh character much in need for more LOVE. Rupert is a Priory Teacher who has travelled some of Tyria to teach New Krytan and is now mainly situated in Divinity’s Reach and Queensdale where his teaching expands to basic knowledge to the young in small classrooms and sometimes private tutoring. If his pupils show magical promise he will also offer to give basic training before they move on to specialised mentors. Rupert is hooked in with the Volur Lineage through @woods-witch-diaries and @charles-dancy
Last but not least https://christinamoretti.tumblr.com/
A little deranged and mentally unstable necromancer with issues. There’s probably not much else to say due to the fact I have not had a chance to bring her out to play yet. She has a nasty streak and is cruel, approaching her for RP is likely going to be a discovery for me to explore darker concepts which are rather new to me.
Remaining characters on my list, slowly rotting away:
Anne Avery: Corsair/Pirate orphan turned Engineer workshop co-owner (Black Iron Forgeworks in LA) after the attack from Scarlet she saw most of her crew perish and their vessel was destroyed.
Drystan Rivers: Low time criminal who cons his ways into people’s lives to obtain their valuables, make otherwise unclaimed inheritance his own, dabbles in drugs and is generally a little on the unsavoury side.
Naveed Fahri: Citizen of Amnoon who has left the ranks of the Cavaliers at the first hint of Balthazar’s chaos, he fled to Kryta to avoid being in the thick of it. Then returned, only to once more flee when dragon happened. As you see, not a very brave man. And yes he is a bit of an asshole.
Marielle Reinaart: Currently NOTHING. But I have made Lana Parrilla her FC. So if anyone is in need of a 40 year old woman somewhere. Throw me ideas what to do with her (Name can be changed)
Sophie Leighton: My spitfire Priory-Pact guardian. She has a temper to match her fiery hair but not her freckled face and short stature. Sophie has been part of the Pact ever since their push to Orr and later joined to fight in Maguuma. She has an established platoon leader (Whispers agent - inactive) But other Pact hooks are easy!
Azumi Tashiro: My acrobat performer with a passion for daggers and being a ninja. Really I have nothing else for her, other than perhaps here being secretary to someone without anyone knowing she’s actually a secret bodyguard.
Non-humans (Yes I have those too)
Norn: Adenah Faradottir (Stormheart), Hildur Stormfury and her half-sister Sigrun Hjordottir
Sylvari: Crwysa
Asura: Techwright Trixxi (Twin to Metamorticist Rixx, author and researcher of “Transmundane Transcorporeal” . She is also his guard because he gets into trouble.)

The Repentant Brotherhood 14: Halls of Training
Cohort of Aspirants
The lowest and first of The Halls of Training, The Cohort of Aspirants is the first-stop for those destined to be Astartes of The Brotherhood.
There are three possible ways for a child to enter The Cohort of Aspirants: Recruitment from The Forest of Frozen Flesh, Adoption of battlefield Orphans, and rewarding a Squire Family with the opportunity to contribute to The Brotherhood.
Entrants into The Cohort of Aspirants are inducted between the ages of 10 and 13, and have memories of their prior lives psychically removed from their minds. Aspirants are subjected to psycho-indoctrination, tutoring on The Brotherhood, and tutoring in Reconstructed Calibanite. It is also at the time Aspirants are inducted, they are assigned to squad-groups and a name based upon that group: eg. Unfed-Unfed(1st-1st), Unfed-Eiliad(1st-2nd).
Neophyte Clades
Upon the passing tests in Reconstructed Calibanite and other subjects taught in the Cohort of Aspirants, Aspirants are cleared to begin the implantation process of the Gene-Seed. During their years within the Clades, Neophytes also begin their formal combat training, lessons in the culture of The Brotherhood, and are evaluated for aptitudes in future specialties. These Neophyte squads also act as scouts and guards for The Brotherhood.
The First Grove
The Training Hall of the Derwydds, The First Grove is where initiate psykers are inducted to to be placed within Grwaidds and begin tutelage in the psyker discipline which they show the most aptitude for. During their time in The First Grove, initiate psykers are also taught to think more like a philosopher than a warrior and to look outside the confines of the battlefield.
The Bellows
The Bellows is the Training Hall for those training to become Techwrights for The Brotherhood. This Training Hall is not exclusive to Astartes of The Brotherhood and also accepts the initiation of Non-Astartes Squire House Members. Those initiated into The Bellows are taught a combination of mechanical engineering, advanced physics, chemical engineering, advanced mathematics whilst also being taught to repair and maintain vehicles and large-scale weaponry of The Brotherhood.
The Hearth
The Hearth is the Training Hall for the Iachawr, where Initiates are trained in biological and chemical sciences, administration of medical narcotics, battle-field injury rectification, and the process of Gene-Seed implantation. Members of The Hearth are also charged with the creation of Servitors for not only the Servitor Hold, but also Servitors specifically created for assignment to The Ysbyty or The Forges of The Repentant Hold.

The Repentant Brotherhood 10: Gof Cyfrifiadur Techwrights, and Techmarines
From the inception of The First Legion, there was a rejection of the Treaty of Olympus and thereby a rejection of Mechanicum/Mechanicus Techmarine forces within the body of The First Legion.
To fill the position pledged to the Mechanicum, The First Legion incorporated Terran-born Techwrights and Techpriests from clans such as the Uruls Mountain Terrawatt clan.
The Repentant Brotherhood maintained this force of Techwrights and Techpriests in their clandestine seclusion, as they expected that they would have no contact with the Adeptus Mechanicus.
This force of Techwrights and Techpriests reformed overtime into the Gof Cyfrifiadur, an organisation of both Astartes and Non-Astartes trained to smith and maintain the arms, armour, transport, and technology of The Brotherhood. Within the ranks of Gof Cyfrifiadur, Astartes are trained by other Gof Cyfrifiadur Astartes to work as battle-field mechanics and specialists; Non-Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur hail from a small group of Squire Houses and act as the trained work-force within the Forges of The Repentant Hold, overseen by Astartes superiors, and who oversee mindless Servitor forge hands.
For low-level use of the Forges, such as production of ammunition, a workline of Servitors may be casting, filling, and sealing ammunition while a Non-Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur oversees the production and takes responsibility for the rounds of ammunition produced during the shift. For more important uses of the Forge, such as production of Bolters and Power Armour, a group of Non-Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur will work on the forging of the item itself while an Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur monitors the process and engraves the name of the owner and the symbol of their Hall into the item produced.
For Master-crafted or Artificer items, items produced for those who have earned the honour of the items commissioning - such as the bladed Force Weapons of the Ilfan-gard - a group of Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur led by a Forgemaster, an Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur equivalent in rank to a Lieutenant, produce the item.
The Servitor forge-hands within the Forge of The Repentant Hold and The Brotherhood’s Forge-moon are not held within the Servitor Holds and are pledged solely to the service of the Gof Cyfrifiadur.
For Gof Cyfrifiadur, the majority of their number stay within the Forges of The Repentant Hold, the launch and deployment bays of The Brotherhood’s naval forces, or The Collegium and drydocks of the Forge-moon which orbits The Brotherhood’s homeworld.
Only the highest achieved and recognised Non-Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur have the honour travelling within The Brotherhood’s Fleet to repair and maintain transports, armour, and weapons.
Whilst a Non-Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur may spend their whole life ‘training’ as part of the middle-class of the Forges, an Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur trains for 50 years after being Cowled as a full member of The Brotherhood.
Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur, as a separate organisation from The Halls of The Brotherhood, are assigned on ‘duty-tours’ to work within a Hall and within its fleet; the ‘duty-tours’ of Astartes Gof Cyfrifiadur last for a maximum of 100 years, with an equivalent amount of time to be spent in within the Forges of The Repentant Hold or on The Brotherhood’s Forge-moon.
Techmarine
Whilst it has not yet come to pass, The Brotherhood’s protocol around accepting the shackles of The Treaty of Olympus is such that a small force of Techmarines may be garrisoned, but their connection to The Brotherhood will be estranged to the point where they are only assigned to missions and campaigns that are staged the furthest away from The Repentant Hold.
Should trainees be sent to the Adeptus Mechanicus, they shall be Un-Cowled and shall never be Cowled as a full member of The Brotherhood. Their armour shall be stripped of any iconography of The Brotherhood, and shall be painted head to toe in the red ‘rust’ of Mars.
They will never be accepted by The Brotherhood.

I am *organizing* renovations, I am no techwright nor menial.
We need decor for a variety of events, celebrations, and variety.
And *sniff* better candles, with appropriate scents for the decor and occasion.

Skirt
Well she was finally working at last. After moping for a few days he'd been informed she'd ventured out, ordered the ballroom re-cleaned, and here was a requisition form.
He still had no idea how this was going to work long term, but her doing something was certainly good. Even though he had no idea why she wanted a collapsing chandelier. Dramatic performances perhaps. Or she wanted to kill intruders or rude guests in a suitably amusing manner.
He supposed it was worth checking on her personally.
Sure enough several carpenters and techwrights were about. And a pair of cleaning servitors. And there she was, hoopskirt back to being around... her and not over her.

How much of what Hessman does is administrative? Or do they have a subordinate to wrangle the rest of the tech priests? And who wrangles the non mechanicus repair/maintenance crews?
Hessman wrangles the tech priests, Hessman wrangles the techwrights, Hessman sometimes winds up in command in the field.

Rotary
The chain blade sawed through the lock and the locked fell open.
He looked at the faded vellum. "Allegedly it's an arms locker"
The techwrights pulled the doors open after applying some sacred oils to the hinges.
Rotor cannons. An entire rack of them. Several looked corroded to pieces but at least two were pristine somehow.
belts of ammo lay strewn about, a single skeleton wrapped in them.
"Find out what happened to this bastard."
