CoasterMaynia 2025 Day 15- Great American Scream Machine (Summer Casual)
@coastermaynia
DAY 15! GIVE IT UP FOR DAY 15!
Another sketch-only entry bcs I literally drew it two hours ago. I had a couple outfit ideas for our local Arrow Mega-Looper (first swimwear bcs I could draw him using his megaphone like a lifeguard, then a formal suit) before deciding on a simple tank + shorts combo. I like to think itâs one of his workout outfits!
Full color edition coming eventually (âą)

You know.
Itâs kinda funny.
The whole reason why I made it that Coasterdroids (my roller coaster personifications) can stick around as ghosts/spirits after their coasters are demolished if a peice of track is preserved is because I couldnât bring myself to âretireâ my defunct personifications from my art + stories (outside of flashbacks, of course).
As such, I created a loophole so that they could continue to interact with their park and fellow Coasterdroids from beyond the grave (though admittedly I mainly focused on Rolling Thunder bcs of Toro and his storyline(s)).
GASM was only 21 when it permanently closed, and people were given a mere two weeks to get their last rides. At the very least, GASM had signs placed at the front of the park letting visitors know of its last day and a farewell party (with a cake)!
While RT was older (34), its closure was but a mere footnote in (ironically) Zuminjaroâs press announcement. This time, people were only given a week to get their last rides inâ and going off of youtube videos and forum comments, only one side was running at the time of its closure. From what Iâve read, RT wasnât maintained well in its later years and lived in the shadow of El Toro.
Though the park would work quickly to replace GASM with (also ironically) Green Lantern, the majority of RTâs footprint was never utilizedâ Zumiâs walkway just skimmed the left side of the footprint and El Diablo only used some of the âcattle penâ section left over from RTâs queue (and was gone in five years).
In my eyes, GASM and RT had been dealt a bad hand, gone too soon.
Little did I know that Kingda Ka, Green Lantern, and all the flat rides that closed this past season were given an even worse hand; no announcement at all, with SF corporate trying their damndest to make their closures/demoliton go quietly.
I donât even think Iâll get the opportunity to keep my Ka and GL personifications around as spirits, as that would require having a portion of their tracks preservedâ and with how both of their demolitions have been going, the only place all that track is going is to a scrapyard.
Thereâs no loophole to save them this time.

CoasterMaynia 2025 Day 0- Kingda Ka (Ghost)
@coastermaynia
This yearâs CoasterMaynia challenge had a special âDay 0â for Kingda Ka, so I had to draw something for it!
Itâs a âWhat-Ifâ scenario in which Great Adventure preserves a portion of Kaâs track as a memorial to the ride, allowing Kaâs spirit to bind with it and stay on Earth. While heâs grateful to be able to see his parkmates again, will they allow him to move on when that time comes? Does he want to move on? Or is there a way that he can come back, even if he wouldnât be the coaster he once wasâŠ?

So in my coaster personif-verse, my Kingda Ka personification dies following the permanent closure of his coaster, passing the night before demolition was reported to start (December 22nd). Additionally, he wonât be sticking around as a ghost like Rolling Thunder and GASM did because the park will (very likely) not be preserving any part of Kaâs structure (no leftover structure = nothing for the spirit to bind itself to, plus with how Ka technically died before demolition it means that his Charging Station didnât even have a chance to store his energy for any kind of spirit generation).
But that doesnât mean heâs gone in every universe.
Stay tunedâŠ

Seeing other coaster personifiers make their Kingda Ka tribute peices has me thinking of what Iâll do for my own tribute.
I donât have a solid concept for it just yet, but Iâd like to get it out on what would be his coasterâs 20th anniversary (May 21st)â if not then, before the end of the year.
(Iâd like to do a tribute for Green Lantern too. Even if I didnât like her coaster as much as I liked Ka, she was still a part of Great Adventure and got screwed over by SFâs refusal to give their rides a proper send-off).

Shellraiser was slowly pulled back into consciousness, as his Circadian rhythm was the only thing keeping him well-rested.
âFiveâ, he muttered to himself. âItâs been five rests since I arrived hereâ.
Shellraiser clenches his fist, only to be met with nothing.
âI canât help itâ, he thought. âEven if my launch wouldnât help me escapeâŠâ.
Hopping off the Charging Station he had used as a makeshift bed, Shellraiser made his way over to its closest neighborâ though he had no idea if these two were actually from the same park. Shellraiser then pressed his palms on the front of the Charging Station.
âHow thick are the walls that separate us?â, he spoke out loud. âYou cannot hear me, or see me, but I can peer at the Coasterdroid within. Clearly, these walls are strongâŠbut if I were to damage its surfaceâŠâ
Shellraiser slammed his fist onto the surfaceâŠand was met with failure. Though appearing to be made of glass, the front of the Charging Station absorbed the blow, as if it had a layer of protective padding surrounding it.
After a few seconds, Shellraiser felt a sharp pain in his right shoulder. Using his other hand, he massaged the shoulder until the pain subsided.
âIf not just for that result, itâs clear that I cannot fight my way out of hereâ, he mused.
With that option exhausted, Shellraiser went back to the only other thing heâd been doingâ swimming through the void.
Cuboid after cuboid surrounded him, suspended within the void with no apparent pattern or categorization. While Shellraiser had been swimming forward ever since he began his search, there was no way to tell if that truly was the case. Anyone in this situation wouldâve been hopelessly confused at best.
Luckily, Shellraiser had a goal to work towards beyond his escape. Unluckily, it was the only thing he could think about.
âIâm not going to let you run away againâ.
A painful squeeze of their arm.
Electricity surging through his body.
His gaze fixed on Sandyâs Charging Station, trying to discern where he had last seen them before he passed out.
Regret had colored these memories from the moment he had woken upâ and Shellraiserâs guilt compelled him to relieve them again and again.
Shellraiser paused, looking around.
âPlease.â
He resumed swimming.
âPlease let me find themâ.
No matter how often (or how long) he paused, Shellraiser came up empty. As dedicated to the search as he was, he could feel himself becoming more hopeless with each rest that passed.
âWould it be worth returning to the park?â
Eventually, mental (and physical) exhaustion would set in. Climbing on top of the nearest charging stationâ but making sure to look around him one last timeâ Shellraiser laid down and let his body lull itself to sleep.
âThis is the sixth restâ.
As much as he was grateful to be getting any sort of sleep, Shellraiser hadnât dreamt since his arrival. Every rest made him feel like a robotâ a binary âpower downâ, then âpower onâ. If that wasnât enough, Shellraiser was essentially limited to two actions; searching and resting.
He swam away from his âbedâ, looking around the area one last time.
âChecking for SandyâŠnot here.â
âChecking for SandyâŠnot here.â
âChecking for SandyâŠnot here.â
As loud as his mind was, the silence surrounding him was equally torturousâ and he was the only thing that could break it.
âChecking for SandyâŠâ
Shellraiser looked around.
ââŠnot hereâ.
Shoving his face into his hands, Shellraiser groaned in frustration.
âThis isâŠthis is the inside of our Charging Stations, right? Or have I been sent to the underworld? Is this my own personalized punishment?â
âWhat did I do to be treated like this?!â, he yelled out loud.
âIâm not going to let you run away againâ, Shellraiserâs mind responds.
Shame washes over him.
âIf this is the underworld, I hope they arenât hurting SandyâŠâ
Kicking his feet, Shellraiser increased his paceâ something inside of him felt that he was running out of time. Every perimeter check he took only made Shellraiser more frantic.
By the ninth instance, he was just about ready to throw in the towel.
âIf it wasnât a personalized punishment alreadyâŠâ
Shellraiser leaned up on the side of a nearby Charging Station.
âOne more lap. If I donât find them, Iâll rest. If it kills me, then I tried my bestâŠand Iâm sorryâ.
Using the Charging Station as a base, Shellraiser pushed himself away and swam for his life. Surrounding Charging Stations began to blur as he picked up speed.
In the monotony of the void, an irregularly made itself present.
Shellraiser abruptly stopped, rubbing his eyes.
Something was there.
As if he were going for the gold, Shellraiser made a beeline for it.
Soon, details began to reveal themselves; a pallet of brown, blue, purple, grayâ hints of red and green. It was motionless, hovering close toâ if not on top ofâ a Charging Station.
âCould it beâŠ?â
On his left, the figure had a centralized blob of brown, with two triangles sticking out from the sides.
That blob was hair.
Those triangles were horns.
Sandyâs horns.
Shellraiser bit his hand, quickly deciding not to call out to them. âTheyâre probably still mad at meâŠor even afraid, after what I didâ, he thought.
Fortunately, Sandy was facing away from himâ it would allow him to get closer without them noticing (and potentially fleeing).
âI have to be gentleâ.
At that point, Sandy was unmistakably present in Shellraiserâs vision. Close enough for them to hear, but far enough that he couldnât grab them.
He took a deep breath.
âSandyâŠ?â
They snapped upright.
Sandy paused; âIâm hearing thingsâŠright?â, they thought.
They began to turn around.
Shellraiser held his breath.
He locked eyes with Sandy.
Their eyes widened.
Immediately, Sandy reached over the edge of the Charging Station they were resting on.
âWAIT!â
Ignoring Shellraiser, they looked down at the front of the Charging stationâŠand plunged their hands right into it.
Shellraiser was stunned. âOf course!â, he thought. âMy technique was flawedâ if kept whole, it can handle blunt impacts. But slicing through it breaks down its power!â
A low hum emitted from the Charging Station as Sandy began pulling their hands away from each other. Cracks quickly appeared from the incision they had made.
âCâmonâŠ!â
A jagged hole emerged from the gap between their knuckles; light shone from within, a faint movement present.
Sandyâs body trembled due to the pressure, but they soldiered on.
Shellraiser directed his attention to the gap. The âmovementâ he saw was a seemingly-random pattern of shapesâ and the soundscape had changed.
Amongst the electric buzz and television static, something soundedâŠorganic. A faint conversation he couldnât understand.
The gap was slowly expanding. Sandy coughed as their lungs reminded them to breathe.
Shellraiser was captivated by the activity coming from withinâ but Sandyâs grip was weakening.
âNoâŠno!â
The cracks began to shrink back towards the gap, the pressure on their hands increasing. Tears rolled down Sandyâs face as they yelled out in pain.
Their hands shot up into the air, defeated. The gap quickly closed, leaving no trace of the damage that had occured; silence filled the air once more.
Sandy collapsed, breathing heavily.
Shellraiser swims by.
âSandy, I-â
They curl up into a ball, too tired to try anything else.
âI just want to talkâ.
Shellraiser waits for a response.
Sandy slowly picks their head upâŠand gives him a dirty look.
âIâm not going to force you back into realityâ.
Sandy continues to glare at him.
Shellraiser switches up his strategy; âIf you werenât able to leave, Iâm not able to leave. I wouldnât be able to take you anywhereâ even if I wanted toâ.
Sandy remains unconvinced.
He takes a breath.
Shellraiser reaches out towards Sandy, then makes a fist with both hands.
âStill no pulseâ, he thinks.
Suddenly, Shellraiser pulls his arms back, resting his fists on his hips.
âSee? I canât launchâ.
Sandy looks down at their right hand. They make a tight fist, then release.
âOkay. Iâll listenâ.
Shellraiser felt a weight lift off their shoulders; he smiled.
âIâm so happy to have found you, Sandyâ.
Sandy turns over to face him.
âItâs good to see that youâve kept yourself intact. Though I must askâŠhow were you able to tear into that Charging Station?â
Sandy takes a breath.
âWhen I came across this Charging Station, I noticed that I couldnât see the Coasterdroid it belonged to. When I got closer, I realized that the Charging Station was unoccupiedâŠor at least I thought it was. Initially, I tried punching my way through, but it wouldnât budge. Eventually, I got fed up and began clawing at the surface. Thatâs when it broke for the first timeâ.
âIt wasnât open for too long, but I got a look insideâ and it finally dawned on me; this Charging Station belonged to a coaster thatâs still under construction!â
âSince then, Iâve made multiple attempts to enter inside, but I keep failing. It seems to get stronger with every attempt, and I donât know how many tries I have before it completely locks me outâ.
âHow long have you been trying to break through?â, Shellraiser inquires.
âSince I got hereâ.
âWell, youâve certainly made more progress than I have! Though now that I know your technique, I should be able to break through and get us back to Nick Universeâ the others are probably worried sick about usâ.
âI never said anything about escapingâ.
ââŠIs that not what you were trying to do?â
âWellâŠyes. I am trying to get out of here, like you areâ but Iâm not going back to Nick Universeâ.
âWhy? Is it not where your coaster is? Is it not home?â
âNo. Not anymoreâ.
Shellraiser decides to let them continue speaking.
âYou see, if this coaster is still under construction, it doesnât have a Coasterdroid yet. While I know my coasterâs still standing, Iâm technically coaster-less as long as I remain stuck in here. But what if I wasnât? What if IâŠfound a coaster to tether myself to?â
âWhat are you talking aboutâŠ?â, Shellraiser interrupts.
âYou said you wanted to hear me out, right?! Then listenâ.
He hesitates, but ultimately complies.
âI know youâre all accepting of my coaster as it isâŠbut âm tired of being an unreliable prototype. If I could become a Coasterdroid for a different coasterâŠI would finally be able to enjoy my life. Iâd still be myselfâ because I like who I amâ butâŠIâd be better.â
âNoâ, Shellraiser responded firmly.
ââŠWhat?â
âSandy, I canât let you do thisâ.
âWhy not?â
âThis plan of yoursâŠitâs flimsy at best and potentially catastrophic at worst!â
âOh, really?â Sandy asked sarcastically.
âYes! If you were to successfully break through and enter that Charging Station, youâre robbing an innocent Coasterdroid of the life thatâs promised to them! Also, if this Charging Station is putting so much effort to keep you from breaking through, whoâs to say that it wonât just kill youâ and the Coasterdroid who it belongs toâ if you actually make it in! You would be dead, and this coaster would never get its Coasterdroidâ.
âBut even if you were to enter and survive the Coasterdroid creation processâŠwould you still be yourself? Or will these higher forces just wipe away everything you wanted to keep?â
âWELL ITâS NOT LIKE I WANTED TO BE TRAPPED HERE!â, Sandy yelled.
Shellraiser is taken aback.
âI didnât know that my launch powers could activate when in my Charging Station. I didnât know it would put me inside of my Charging StationâŠand I donât think you knew that eitherâ.
Shellraiser takes a breath; âYouâre right. I took a massive risk in replicating your actionsâ but I did it for the right reason. I wanted to save youââ
âYOUR ATTEMPT AT âSAVING MEâ IS WHAT GOT ME STUCK HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!â Sandy loses their composure. âIf you had just left me aloneâŠ!â
Sandy wailed in anguish, pulling at their afro in a misguided attempt to self-regulate.
Shellraiser had to restrain himself from intervening, though he couldnât look away.
This was the punishment he deserved.
Sandy yelped as they felt their grip pull away from their hair. Pulling their left hand closer, they saw a clump of hair resting in their palm.
âOh NeptuneâŠâ, they mumbled in shock. Sandy quickly took their other hand out of their hair. They then tossed the clump away from themâŠonly for it to continue floating where it was placed.
Sandy curled up in shame.
âIâm sorryâ.
No response.
âI overstepped your boundaries that day, and likely wouldâve made things worse if I actually got to âhelpâ you. At that moment, I thought you needed to be told what to do, how to act, how to feelâ but all you wanted was for someone to listenâ.
Sandy turned around.
âIs that right?â
ââŠYesâ.
After a few moments of silence, Sandy un-curls. âOkay. I accept your apologyâ.
Shellraiser gives them a warm smile.
âI guess youâre not as much of a Squidward as I thought you were. Though Squidward has apologized for making Spongebob feel bad in certain episodesâŠso I guess you really are like Squidwardâ in a good wayâ.
Shellraiser lets out a small chuckle; âIt always goes back to SpongeBob, doesnât it?â
âIt sure does! Yâknow, I hope all of this SpongeBob knowledge doesnât go away when I get reincarnatedâŠor reassigned? It doesnât make sense for a non-SpongeBob coaster to be obsessed with himâŠbut does it have to? Iâm sure the other Coasterdroids there have heard of the showâŠâ
Shellraiserâs heart sank; âThey still want to abandon their coasterâŠâ, he thought.
ââŠOh, and just because Iâm gonna have new neighbors doesnât mean you guys canât visit me! Iâm sure youâll be able to contact meâŠwhereverâŠI end upâ.
His mind yelled at him to stop Sandy, that they couldnât be trusted to do the right thing, and that they would die in their attempts to find a âbetter lifeâ.
Yet, he remained silent. Shellraiser wanted to say something, but was stuck on what to say.
Then, as if a light switch had been flicked on, it came to him.
âMy feelingsâ.
Shellraiser took a deep breath.
âSandyâ.
They reoriented themselves.
âIâm not happy that youâre going through with this planâ.
Sandy gave him a look.
âBut at the end of the day, it is your decision to make. I wonât stop youâ.
Sandy relaxed.
âThough if I can do one last thing, I want you to know thatâŠâ
Shellraiser felt his throat dry up.
âI am eternally grateful to have known you as a member of my familyâ.
Shellraiser shut his eyes, preparing for the worst.
âIâŠdidnât know you saw me that way, Shellraiser. IâmâŠglad I know the truthâ.
Something had begun to change within Sandy.
âMaybe I donât want to run away from himâand Slime Streak, Shredder, and Timmy. ButâŠdo I really want to go back to that?â, they thought.
Sandy had a lot of time to think as they aimlessly floated through the voidâ enough time to think about severing the link they had to their coaster, and Nick Universe as a whole.
Sometimes, it only takes a moment for a realization to kick in.
ââŠYou know what?â
Shellraiser held his breath.
âI thinkâŠIâm gonna sleep on it. Iâm already exhausted as is, I donât think I could break through that barrier even if I wanted to. I think you should sleep tooâ.
âI agreeâ.
Sandy swims up to their Charging Station-turned-bed, pulling themselves up to the top. Shellraiser did the same, finding a Charging Station close to Sandyâs.
Sandy lies down on their side, facing away from Shellraiser.
Shellraiser canât help but face towards Sandy.
âI hope youâll still be here when I wake upâ, he thought.
âI want to say Goodbyeâ.

Memories of Christmas Past
RMT is a very sentimental personâ to the point where she has several photo albums that are completely full. If itâs someoneâs first Christmas at the park, she has to preserve that memory in a photograph (or twoâŠor more). Though seeing these photos makes her weep, she couldnât help but look anyways.
After all, the first Christmas without a loved one is always the hardest.
[Oh, and for those who are wondering why that red dress and the name Stella are significant; At Kentucky Kingdom (GLâs original park), there was a dueling wooden coaster named Twisted Twins (initially Twisted Sisters). Each side was given a nameâ âStellaâ for one, and âLolaâ for the other. In a rare instance of a park personifying their coasters, Stella and Lola can be seen here on this shirt;

(Image Credit to @/AirtimeMisfits on Twitter and Instagram)
In my coaster personification-verse, Green Lantern (then known as Chang) had an unrequited crush on Stella. When GL was relocated, she found out that Twisted Twins (and KK as a whole) had been abandonedâ and the coaster wouldnât re-open, as it would eventually become Storm Chaser (who is their own personification as a result of being built on the combined structure of TT). GL never confessed her feelings to Stella, as she was worried about how her parkmates would react upon realizing that she was attracted to women. Though she had been distant to her Great Adventure parkmates during her first season, RMT managed to get GL to open up about her homesickness. Through this talk, RMT learned how important Stella was to GL (particularly how she had a âpretty red dressâ). RMT knew what she had to get GL for Christmas that yearâ and when GL opened her gift, she knew that this park would accept her for who she was.]

So canonically my coaster personifications tend to avoid interacting with humans bcs there would be major ramifications to revealing their existence. They are also naturally un-detectable by humans due to their invisibility powers, which are âactiveâ by default. If they wanted to interact with a human, they have to âdeactivateâ it first.
That being saidâŠimagine âNo One Mourns the Wickedâ, but the residents of Munchkinland are nameless/faceless Six Flags Corporate business people and Nitro is Glinda, forced to put on a happy face as they wonât understand (or more accurately, care) why sheâs so upset that the Wicked Witch (Ka) is deadâŠ

âOkay Sandy,â they thought. âWaveâs almost ready to be caughtâ.
Sandy pushed themselves up onto their surfboard, their mind dead-set on a goal. Faintly, they could hear the others give some commentary;
âTheyâre getting ready to stand..â
âThe wave is forming!â
âI believe in you, Sandy!â
Finally standing up on their surfboard, Sandy glared confidently at the wave.
The surging carried them upwardâŠ.for all of two seconds, as it didnât take long for Sandy to lose their balance.
Sandy tried reaching out for their surfboard as it quickly slipped away from their feet, only to be consumed by the waves crashing around them.
Tumbling through the water, Sandyâs feet dragged across the bottom of the pool as they tried to push themselves to the surface. Fortunately, the current was pushing them closer to the shallow end of the pool.
Sandy ducked under the diminishing wave, placing their feet firmly on the ground.
âGo!â
Like a dolphin, Sandy shot out of the water, taking a well-needed gasp of air. They crashed back down to the surface back-first, kicking their feet to propel themselves forward.
âThere they are!â
âIâll get Sandyâs boardâ.
âYeah, theyâre not gonna give up after one failed attempt!â
With the wave-controlling program close to resetting, the water had grown calmâ and so did Sandy, who let it guide them to the entrance.
Slowly but surely, Sandy had come to a stop, lying there as the water receded.
Most people would get up at that point, but Sandy was content to remain there.
The tide is rolling in.
It only reaches up to my feet, at first.
But with every wave, it gets closer.
The water is cold, but not frigid.
ItâsâŠRefreshing.
Slowly, the water begins to surround me.
It gets to the point where my head is just above the water.
The next wave is approaching.
Itâll definitely pull me underwater if I donât get up.
But Iâm still lying there.
Sandy closed their eyes, smiling as water washed over their face.
Bliss.
After a few seconds, Sandy sat up; âWoooo! I mightâve wiped out, but I had a ton of fun with it!â
Slime Streak quickly joined them in the pool, boogie-board in her hand; âYou still were awesome!â
âI know, right?â
Shredder approached them, holding Sandyâs surfboard. âReady for round two?â
âOf course!â
âJust make sure you have your board leash tightened this time, okay?â, Timmy reminded.
âOh yeahâŠprobably makes it easier to recover, heh!â Sandy grabbed the leash, tightening it around their ankle.
Sandy and Slime Streak excitedly dashed into the water, Shellraiser watching from a distance as he relaxed on a chair, âtanningâ in the sunbeam.
âAhâŠâ, he mused. âNothing can spoil this day!â
ââŠShe wishes she could take them out of the water, so she could cuddle and sleep with themâŠâ
Displayed on screen was âSue Nahmeeâ, the main antagonist of âSaving Bikini Bottomâ, the newest SpongeBob film. During this scene, viewers were offered a look into Sueâs childhoodâ except her adult head was slapped onto a childâs body in (probably) the worst chroma-key job in the history of cinema.
Not a single member of the group wasnât completely dumbfounded by what they were witnessing.
âI canât believe this was approved to airâŠâ, Shellraiser muttered.
âI can believe it. You think those execs care about making a quality product! Nah, they just want peopleâs moneyâŠor in this case, their parentâs moneyâ, Timmy countered.
âIâm surprised they left the robot horse behind. YâknowâŠthe cute animal sidekick that they want kids to cling on to and beg their parents to buy the marketable plushie ofâ, Shredder added.
Sandy was furiously typing on her phone, Slime Streak drowning her âsorrowsâ with popcorn.
âI had to pause the movie and walk out of the room when this scene came on. Then I went to ITSUGAR, got myself some candy, and came back to my room. The candy wasnât really necessary, I just needed something good to counteract the badness that was this movieâ, she said in-between handfuls.
âWell, itâs a good thing Iâve completely cut her from my revision of the movieâŠand every other human, honestly. I actually think the Rattlesnake gang from earlier would make for a good antagonistâ though the real conflict will be whether Sandy should stay in Texas or return to Bikini Bottomâ, Sandy stated.
âWoah, that already sounds like a way better story!â
âYep! It makes a world of difference when you have a writer who cares about the thing youâre makingâŠand no execs to bow down to!â
Lights flashed around as a disco ball sparkled above their heads. Located in a nearby town, Shredder and Timmy had decided that their date-slash-âgirlâs night outâ should be at a Karaoke bar.
With a recently-updated machine and complimentary room service at hand, the pair were enjoying a wonderful night out with fellow Jerseyans Nitro, Medusa, Harley Quinn, and Green Lantern.
Of course, their song choiceâ or more accurately, album choice, was obvious.
âȘRed Wine Supernova, fall right into me!âȘ
While some of the albumâs setlist had been sung by the entire group, Timmy and Shredder wanted to keep this track for themselves. The song wasnât a duet pieceâ but that didnât matter to them.
Timmy started the second verse; âȘI like!âȘ
âȘI like!âȘ, Shredder sang in response.
âȘWhat you like!âȘ
âȘWhat you like!âȘ
âȘLong hair,âȘ
âȘThick curls!âȘ, Shredder putting her own spin on the lyrics.
âȘThatâs my type!âȘ
âȘThatâs right!âȘ
âȘYou just told meâŠâȘ
Shredder pulled Timmy in closer.
âȘâŠâWant me to ride you?ââȘ
An âOoh~!â erupted from the others, catching on to Shredderâs double entendre.
Timmy pulled Shredder in even closer, their foreheads touching.
âȘBaby I will, âcause I really want to!âȘ
They would sing the last of the verse together, continuing their simultaneous duet to the end of the song.
Though their throats would be unquestionably sore the next day, the memories that Timmy and Shredder made that night was worth the pain.
âHALT!â
Lilâ Devil turned around, a plastic crown firmly clamped in-between his teeth.
âAs the thief responsible for stealing the queenâs crown, you must be vanquished! Surrender now, or die by my blade!â, Joust declared.
Lilâ Devil wordlessly looked him up-and-downâŠand began to run right towards him.
Joust prepared himself, pointing his lance at the âdevil-childâ.
âYou wonât get away with this!â
Lilâ Devil suddenly reared left, swiping at Joust with his tail.
âAUGH!â Joust fell to the floor in dramatic fashion. Even if he wasnât actually hurt, he had to sell it like he was.
âKozmo!â
The chipmunk-girl rushed onto the scene, complete with her own story-appropriate costume.
âOh no, youâre wounded!â
âHe got me where I least expected it! Quickly, look into your mage-tome for healing spells!â
Kozmo flipped through the pages of her tomeâ in reality, her wilderness bookâ until she found a page about treating an open wound.
Kozmo showed Joust the page; âHere! Spell of Gauze-ian Wrappedâ.
âPerfect! Now, do your magic!â
Just as Kozmo was about to recite the incantation, her book was suddenly ripped from her fingers!
âNoâ!, she cried out.
Lilâ Devil scampered off, now with two valuable items in tow.
âWithout my mageâs tome, I canât perform any spells!â
ââŠand I am too weak to fight!â, Joust added.
âWHO CAN STOP THAT MENACE?â, the both of them yelled.
Lil Devil looked, back smiling âevillyââŠand was completely unaware of the green puddle that appeared right in front of him. As soon as he stepped in it, Lilâ Devil was stuck in place.
Dropping the book and crown, Lilâ Devil began pulling at his leg, hoping to free himself from the trap. Suddenly, the puddle began to moveâ and a humanoid figure emerged!
âSorry bud, your reign of terror is up!â
Slime Streak threw the book and crown away from Lilâ Devil, who fruitlessly tried to go after it.
âItâs an eternity of chores for you!â.
Lilâ Devil sighed sadly, crossing his arms as he was pulled back to the âcastleââ really, the birthday pavilion.
Kozmo spotted the valuables flying towards her and Joust; âMy book, and the crown!â She reached out as far as she could, catching her âtomeâ in her arms.
The crownâŠwould land right on the concrete, splitting in two.
âI was hoping to catch both of them. W-we can fix it, right?â
The crownâ now covered in sparkly duck tapeâ rested on the head of itâs rightful owner.
âOh Sandy, Queen of the Atoll Kingdom, we have succeeded in retrieving your crown! While I graciously put my health on the line when facing the devil-child, Kozmoâs intellect and magical prowess was the reason why I was able to find him!â
Slime Streak walked over to Joust and Kozmo, standing proudly.
âOf course, we wouldnât have been able to subdue LDC and retrieve our stolen items without Nickyâs help. though I was put off by their slimy green skin, I learned that you shouldnât judge a book by its coverâ.
âOh, what wondrous news; With the evil vanquished, my kingdom is peaceful once more!â
Sandy stood up from their âthroneâ, retrieving a plastic chest they had hidden behind it.
âI must reward you handsomelyâ here!â
They opened the chest, revealing what goods lay within.
âTake as many SpongeBob fruit snacks as you want!â
Within seconds, the chest had been emptied. As the trio began reaping their reward, Lilâ Devil shuffled over, sitting next to Slime Streak with his own stash of SpongeBob fruit snacks.
Sandy sighed happily.
âIâm so glad weâre friendsâ.
Shellraiser bowed upon seeing his sibling in-person for the first time in years.
âI am always honored to be in your presenceâ.
âAnd I am honored to have been given the opportunity to see you standing before meâ, Takabisha responded.
âI understand there was something you wanted to show meâ.
âYes. Though I have many fun events plannedâŠâ
Do-Dodonpaâs loop stood tall, awaiting its final resting place.
ââŠwe must take the time to honor those who have left usâ.
Situated near Eejanaika was a mural of Fuji-Qâs coaster lineup, past and present. In front of Do-Dodonpaâs was the lead car of its blue train.
Shellraiser took a sponge from the bucket, cleaning off the outer shell; it would shine in the sun once he was done.
Takabisha placed a bundle of incense next to the wheel assembly, wafting a strawberry scent into the surrounding area. A bouquet of white chrysanthemums was laid on one of the front seats.
Shellraiser scooped water into his ladle, gently pouring it over the front of the car.
Takabisha and Shellraiser crouched down, holding their hands up in prayer.
âMay Do-Dodonpaâs kindness be honored by those who remember, and may the coaster who settles upon their land carry on their legacyâŠâ
Festive music echoed through the halls of the American Dream Mall, as no time was wasted in transforming it into the holiday shopping destination. Trees were abundant, lights twinkled above every storefront, and Santa was getting ready to open his ears to those who desired to let him know what they wanted under the tree this year.
For the resident Coasterdroids of Nickelodeon Universe, things were no different.
Shredder climbed up the ladder, mistletoe in hand. She had done this every year since the park had openedâ but she now had someone who was willing to honor the tradition that it represented.
Just as she was about to hang the mistletoe upâŠshe felt something brush against her cheek.
Timmy had made her way up the ladder, planting a kiss on Shredderâ who just so happened to be holding the mistletoe above their heads.
They giggled, Shredder returning the favor with a quick kiss on Timmyâs forehead.
Shellraiser had spent all afternoon setting up and decorating the tree. Though he had a couple of ornaments he liked (and some he wasâŠless fond of, like the mooning Santa that Timmy had purchased as a gag gift two Christmas-es ago), there was one ornament that stood above the restâ literally, as he had left a space just below their tree topper, which was a homemade clay model of Patrick Star.
It was a small frame, containing a group photo and a personalized message;
âOur first Christmas togetherâ.
ââŠa ukulele songbook, a sandwich press, a new purse, a catâor dog, one of those big bubble wands, a conveyor belt sushi place to open at this mallâŠOh! And I want a new coaster here, maybe something small like a Zamperla mini mouse or SBF spinner so Iâm not the âbabyâ anymoreâŠâ
âWoah, slow down!â Sandy advised. âSantaâs gotta give presents to other kids too, you knowâ.
âYeah, youâre right. I still hope we get a new coaster here eventuallyâ.
âIâd welcome it!â
âHey, SandyâŠwhat do you want for Christmas this year?â
Sandy pondered for a moment.
âIâŠactually havenât thought about itâ.
âWoah, really? Youâve always wanted things for Christmas, Sandy! A lot of things!
âYeah, I haveâ mostly Spongebob merch, of course. ButâŠwhen I was stuck in that void, all aloneâŠI wanted nothing more than to be someone elseâ.
âOhâŠthatâs not goodâ.
âIt wasnât, even if I thought it was at the timeâ.
âBut you arenât thinking like that anymore, right?â
Sandy shook their head; âNoâ.
ââCuz I like that youâre Sandy, and so do you!â
Sandy smiles.
âYep. And after all the things Iâve been throughâŠI think I already have everything I wantâ.

Ever since it was announced that Walibi Holland was getting a pair of RMC Raptors, those who visited the park were eager to document its construction. By this point in time, work was right on track for the rideânow known as âYoYââ to meet its intended opening next spring.
Though the station had yet to be finished, it seemed as if the land knew where to place the coasterâs Charging Stations; two clouds of energy hovered where the rideâs operator booth would be.
The clouds appeared to be idleâ but everyone knew they were hard at work, creating a Coasterdroid that would perfectly personify the coaster that theyâd be attached to.
That is, until they began to tremble, lights flashing from within.
A human figure appeared in the center of each Charging Station, quickly increasing in size. While nobody was there to hear it, the sound of screaming gradually added itself to the environment.
Like a stuntman jumping through a prop wall, Shellraiser and Sandy bursted out of the Charging Stationsâ skidding to a stop stomach-first on the dirt below.
Shellraiser picked his head up, spitting out some dirt that had unfortunately made its way into his mouth. He shuddered, trying not to think of all the germs that could be living in it.
âUh, ShellriserâŠI donât think weâre in New Jerseyâ.
Sandy looked up at the track above their headâ a mass of green and blue, held up with black supports.
âWeâre not even in the United Statesâ, he replied.
âDo you even know what this park isâŠor who this is?â
Shellraiser began to ponder; âI know RMC mentioned something about a park overseas getting dueling Raptors, but the name of the park escapes meâŠâ
Fortunately, someone had noticed the two standing within all the hustle-and-bustle of the construction siteâ and they landed right behind Sandy.
Upon realizing that another being had joined them, Sandy turned around, then turned back to motion at Shellraiser. âHey! Someoneâs hereâŠâ Snapping out of his thoughts, Shellraiser picked his head upâ and immediately raised an eyebrow at who he was witnessing.
Standing in front of them was a Coasterdroid who could be best described as wearing an outfit rooted in âfairy-coreâ, with an added insect motif.
âHallo, YoY! Het is met veel plezier dat we u hier verwelkomen. Dit is Walibi Holland!â, Untamed said with a smile.
âOh, umâŠwe donât speak Dutch, sorry!â, Sandy apologized.
âAh, I see! Perhaps itâs because you two were entirely manufactured in AmericaâŠI used to be a Vekoma woodie, you knowâ but no worries, Iâm sure youâll pick up the language quicklyâ.
âOh, no, youâre mistakenâ weâre not YoYâ, Shellraiser clarified. âI am TMNT Shellraiser, sibling of Takabisha. This is Sandyâs Blasting Broncoâ. Sandy waves at Untamed. âWeâre from the American Dream Meadowlands Mall in New Jerseyâ.
âThat makes senseâ Coasterdroids donât usually appear until they are ready to open. Though I must wonderâŠhow did you guys end up here, within a construction site, no less?â
âWell, the short answer is that Sandy got themselves trapped within their Charging Station, I went into my Charging Station to find them, and then we broke into these Charging Stations to escapeâ and it turns out they belong to this âYoYâ coaster hereâ.
âOh, wowâŠI didnât even know that was possible!â
âNeither did Iâ and thatâs the last time weâll be trapped in there, thatâs for sure!â
âWell Iâm glad you found your way outâ and that Iâve meet you, sir!â Untamed eagerly shakes Shellraiserâs hand, who didnât expect that level of intensity.
âWell, I wonât be forgetting about you anytime soon. But I must askâŠwhere is the nearest airport?â
âOh, I can help with that! You might want to wash off before you leave, thoughâ. Untamed gestured at the two, their clothes stained with dirt and grass. âI can even cook something up for you guysâ my treat!â
âThank you for your generosity, but that wonât be necessaryâ humans canât see us even if we were cleanâ.
Sandy introjects; âCâmon Shellraiser, theyâre just trying to help, and I was thinkingâŠmaybe we could take a ride on their coaster before we leave?â
Shellraiser looked at Untamedâ who quietly chanted âRMC!ââ then looked back at Sandy, who had their puppy dog eyes on. He sighs, unable to resist; âWeâll stay for the afternoonâ.
Sandy (and Untamed) cheer. âHere, hold on! I can fly us to my coaster!â Sandy and Shellraiser grabbed onto their arm, Untamed reacting quickly to pull them up in the air. Shellraiser yelped in surprise, his feet leaving the ground.
Shellraiser stepped out of the vehicle, returning to the grounds of one of the largest malls in the United States. Sandy followed shortly after, standing right next to him as the NJ Transit bus drove off.
âWeâre hereâ.
He looked up at the monolith known as the American Dream Meadowlands. Despite the valid criticisms lobbied at the property and its owners, Shellraiser couldnât help but appreciate what he had been given.
âIâm so happy to be back here, Shellraiserâ. Sandy turned to look at him. âDonât you agree?â
Shellraiser smiled; âYesâ.
âAlwaysâ.
NSS was lying on her side, arms retracted into her sweater. âI hate it hereâ. Timmy sat next to her, with Shredder staying close by.
âI know, honey. We just wanted to check up on you, thatâs allâ, Shredder replied.
âWell, you couldâve done it at Dutch Wonderland instead of making me come back hereâŠâ
âYou know they wanted to come here, right? I can see Joust riding your coaster right nowâ.
âI couldâve been left alone just fineâŠIâm a good houseguestâ.
âWell, I didnât want you to be left aloneâ, Timmy said firmly.
âReally? âCuz it looks like you and Shredder are doing great without me...â,Slime Streak said bitterly.
âChiquita, different types of love are expressed in different ways. Yes, I love being with Shredderâ she is the light of my life. ButâŠI also love you. Youâre like a niece to me, and I havenât stopped worrying about you since we let you leaveâ.
Slime Streak pulled her sweater over her head. Timmy sighed.
âYou know, I miss them too. Havenât stopped hoping that theyâd come backâ.
âBut you stopped searching for them, right? Shredder tooâ.
Shredder took over for Timmy; âSlime Streak, there was only so much we could do. Trust me, I tried and thought of what to try. When everything was exhausted..all that was left to do was hopeâ.
âWell maybe you should TRY HARDERâ. Shredder jumped a little, surprised at Slime Streakâs anger. âItâs not like theyâre just going to show up out of the blue...â
âSlime Streak!â
NSS didnât notice, as she was too distracted by her sadnessâ but Timmy and Shredder did.
âShredder!âŠTimmy!â
âOh my godâŠâ, Timmy muttered.
âI canât believe my eyes!â
Timmy smiled, grabbing her girlfriendâs hand as the two made a run for it. The sound of their footsteps got Slime Streakâs attention, pulling her sweater off her face.
âTHEYâRE BACK!â, Shredder shouted from a distance.
Slime Streak turned aroundâŠand immediately got off her feet.
Running as fast as she could, Slime Streak called out to them;
âSandy!â
âSlime Streak!â
She picked up her pace.
âSANDY!â
âSLIME STREAK!â
They were now seconds away from reuniting.
âSANDYYYYY!â
âSLIIIME STREAAK!â
Slime Streak jumped into Sandyâs arms, nearly knocking them over. Shellraiser then joins in the embrace, followed by Shredder and Timmy. A chorus of giddy shouting erupts from the group-hug, with a few âI missed youâ-s and âOh my godâ-s sprinkled in.
âI know I havenât made this clear in the past, so let it be known that I care for all of you dearly. From the moment I entered the void, I thought of returning with Sandy and making our family whole again. Itâs almost unbelievable that Iâm experiencing this, after everything that happenedâŠand I am truly gratefulâ.
Shellraiser pauses, taking a breath.
âIâve also realized that I havenât been the best leaderâ Instead of encouraging your positive traits and individualities, I berated you for simple mistakes and quirks I deemed as âimproperâ. Iâm sorry for any pain I have put you through, and vow to do better in the futureâ.
Timmy places her hand on his shoulder; âShellraiserâŠI always knew you had a hidden soft side!â
He laughs; âGuess I finally came out of my shell!â
Eventually, the group-hug endsâ though Shredder and Timmy remain at each otherâs side.
âSo, what did we miss?â, Shellraiser asked.
âUhâŠa lot, actuallyâ, Timmy replies, Shredder nodding to reaffirm her statement.
âAh, it mustâve been an exciting few weeks for you twoâ though from the looks of it, youâve handled things wellâ.
Timmy and Shredder look at each other, their smiles gone. Timmy nudges Shredder, pressuring her to deliver the news.
Shredder takes a breath before she finally speaks.
âShellraiserâŠItâs Septemberâ.
Shellraiserâs face falls; ââŠwhatâ.
âWEâVE BEEN GONE FOR NINE MONTHS?!â Sandy shouts.
âThatâs notâŠall of it, thoughâ.
Timmy steps in; âYeah, uhâŠthereâs no good way to deliver this. Shellraiser, your coaster has some major structural issuesâŠand it hasnât operated since a few days after you leftâ.
Shellraiser looked at her, stunned into silence.
âSandyâs coaster has continued to close for weeks at a time without warningâ something that even I and Slime Streak werenât immune to. So, you know, nothingâs improved on that frontâŠand I donât think it ever will as long as Triple Fiveâs managing this placeâ.
âYeah, and, UmâŠFuji-Q decided to pull the plug on Do-Dodonpa. The funeral was held back in March, and their coaster has been sitting half-demolished for a while nowâ, Shredder mumbled, hanging her head down.
Shellraiser sinks to his knees, cusping his face in his hands. Shredder rests her head on Timmyâs shoulder, trying to hide her face.
Suddenly, Shellraiser feels something grab at him; he pulls his face out of his hands.
âHeyâ.
Sandyâs arms were wrapped around him, a rarity for the touch-adverse teen.
âYouâre not the only maintenance headache here. Whatever happens next, weâll be here for youâ.
Shellraiser closed his eyes, placing his hands on top of Sandyâs.
A single tear ran down his cheek.
After a few moments of silence, Shellraisee felt a light tap on his shoulder.
ââŠI think you should talk to Takabisha about this, and also the whole âdisappearing for nine monthsâ thingâ, Shredder gently suggested.
Shellraiser looked at her, softly tapping Sandyâs arm for them to let him go. âNoâ. He stood back up. âI know I just said that I wonât force you guys to uphold my standards, but⊠he probably thinks Iâm a disgraceâ.
He looked away from Shredder; âItâs better that I never contact him again, lest I bring shame to the familyâ.
âCheck your phoneâ.
Shellraiser turned to Timmy.
âWhat?â
âGo to your room, find your phone, and power it onâ.
Shellraiser looks at her, a mix of confusion and suspicion in his eyes.
âYou heard me. Goâ.
After some hesitation, Shellraiser walks away.
Sandy looks at Timmy and Shredder, who glance at each other knowingly.
âWhatâs going on?â, they ask.
âWait for itâŠâ, Timmy replies.
Suddenly, Shellraiser runs back into frame, holding his phone.
âI canât believe itâŠâ
He turns his phone around, pointing at the wall of âmissed callâ notifications and unread texts.
ââŠhe carries no shameâ.
âOoooh. Thatâs why you sent him off like that, Timmy!â Sandy remarked.
âWell, I mightâve received a few calls from Takabisha asking if Shellraiser was back, I mightâve told them about his coasterâs structural issues, and I mightâve told him to send some messages to Shellraiserâs phone to show that they still careâ.
Shellraiser frantically typed up a response, his phone jittering around in his hands.
âLooks like it worked out well!â
âHey, I like busting his chops as much as the next guyâŠbut I still care about him, even if itâs hard to tell sometimes. Plus, now Shellraiser canât say Iâve never done a nice thing for him!â
Shellraiser put his phone in his jacket pocket, satisfied with his message.
âSpeaking of nice thingsâŠhas anything good happened while we were gone?â
âPleaseâ, Shellraiser emphasizes. âWe canât take anymore bad news!â
Shredder looked at her girlfriend, who had a smile that matched herâs.
âWellâŠ.I finally found someone who appreciates my passionâŠwho loves me for who I amâŠâ
Timmy and Shredder were now facing each other, their noses nearly touching.
ââŠand Iâve found a woman who can love me backâŠthat I was the âright personâ for someoneâ.
They closed their eyes, Shredder tilting her head slightlyâŠand let their lips meet. Timmy placed her hands at the sides of Shredderâs face, bathed in the warmth of sun-rays beaming down on them from the skylight above.
Sandy clasped their hands together; âAww, congrats you two!â They look over at Shellraiser with a smile; âI knew it!â
âShe actually took my words to heartâ, he said quietly. Shellraiser smiled; âFeels nice to know Iâve unambiguously helped someoneâŠâ
Timmy and Shredder stare at each other, still in post-kiss awe.
âSoâŠwas it as good as you thought it would be!âTimmy asks.
âEven betterâ, Shredder replies.
NSS approaches Sandy, looking up at them with hesitation on their face.
âSlime StreakâŠ.â.
âYes?â, she mumbled, fidgeting around.
âIâm sorry. I shouldnât have left you like that. You just wanted your best friend back, and I did the worst possible thing a friend could doâ reject you. I let my anguish consume me, and all it did was make things worse, for all of us. Swear on my heart, Iâll never run off like that againâ.
Slime Streak slowly raises her hand upâŠand extends her pinky.
âPromise?â
Sandy smiles, locking their pinky with Slime Streakâs.
âWhen in doubt, pinky outâ.
Slime Streak pulls away, quickly going in for a hug.
Sandy reciprocates, letting Slime Streak stay there as long as she needs.
âWeâre still friends, right?â
âOf courseâ.
Slime Streak looks up at Sandy, wiping tears from her eyes.
âWell, as your friend, I have to let you knowâŠthat the Sandy movie was BADâ!
NSS resumes crying, ending their hug.
âI COULD BARELY FINISH IT!â
NSS covers their eyes with their hair-tentacles. Sandy gently rubs her back, trying to soothe her.
âAw, itâs okâŠIâm used to modern Spongebob stuff being inconsistent. Even if the movieâs bad, itâs not completely worthless to meâ because itâll make a good âfix-ficâ plot!â
NSS sniffles; âYeah, you always write good stuffâŠI wanna be your beta reader!â
âLike Iâd choose anyone else!â
Shellraiser, who had given the pair of friends and lovers some space, re-positioned himself right in-between everyone.
He takes a breath; âThe last thing I wanted to hear upon my arrival was that my coaster has been SBNO for months due to unspecified structural issuesâŠbut the fact that I, and Sandy, were able to return at all makes my coasterâs operational status a little more bearable. Though I hope that these structural issues will be resolved sooner than later, I know that Iâll be supported every step of the way by those who love me the mostâ.
Shellraiser finished his speech off with a smile, watching as his family did the same.

Shellraiser couldnât tell what was around himâ his vision was no better than a camera trying (and failing) to focus.
He tried to reach out for somethingâŠonly to slip back into unconsciousness.
Though his vision was slightly less blurred when he awoke again, he was still too weak to make any strenuous movements. âIâm still in the voidâŠor at least, I appear to beâ, he thought.
Just as his mind began to wander to the topic of Sandy, he lost consciousness again.
Eventually, Shellraiser was able to keep himself awake. He groaned in pain, bringing his hand up to his foreheadâ and discovered a noticeable bump.
âI will have to ice this when I return homeâŠâ
Shellraiser was suspended around several Charging Stations, enveloped in silence once more. He looked straight ahead at his surroundingsâŠand saw something floating in the distance.
Or more accurately, Someone.
âSandy!â His heart began pounding.
Shellraiser flipped himself onto his stomach, entering a butterfly kick. Everything became a blur once more as he focused on reuniting with them.
As he got closer, he noticed that Sandy was lying on their back, their arms slack and eyes shut.
They werenât moving.
Shellraiser embraced Sandy, pulling them close to his chest; their head would end up resting perfectly on his shoulder.
âOh, what have I doneâŠâ
Shellraiser, normally so concerned about his appearance, couldnât stop himself from mourning. Tears slipped across his face, raining down on Sandy.
âThis is all my faultâŠIf I had just let you decompress, if I wasnât so obsessed with my reputationâŠyouâd still be with meâŠâ
âI AM NOTHING BUT A DISGRACE!â, he yelled.
âA disgrace...and a fool. I tried to mold you and the others into the perfect family, and all it did was obscure the truthâ you already were!â
Shellraiser continued to cry, curling his body inward.
âI can never returnâŠand maybe thatâs for the bestâ.
He looked up at the âskyâ.
âOh, those who blessed me with sentienceâŠdo as you wish with me! I deserve any and all punishment you choose to deliver! My only request is that you treat Sandy better than I haveâŠâ
Shellraiserâs vision was obscured by tearsâ so obscured that he didnât realize his mask had been taken off.
Sandy, who had folded the mask into a square, brought it up to his face.
âItâs gonna be okay, ShellraiserâŠâ
They began wiping his tears away.
âIâm hereâ.
Shellraiser finally realized what was happeningâ his eyes went wide with shock.
âYouâre aliveâŠ?â
âYeah.â
Sandy teared up.
âIâm aliveâ.
It was Shellraiserâs time to wail, though out of relief; he hugged Sandy tightly, who was quietly crying for the same reason.
Eventually, Shellraiser was able to re-compose himself, drying his face with his folded-up mask.
âIâm gonna have to wash this when I get back home...â, he said as he placed the soiled mask in his jacket.
âDonât you mean when we get back home?â
Shellraiser was stunned; âDoes this meanâŠ?â
âYep, Iâm gonna keep being Sandy!â
Shellraiser smiled; âYouâre gonna make me cry againâŠâ He sniffled.
âWell, your crying did wake me upâŠâ
âYou heard everything, didnât you?â
âYep! It was all thanks to the tears of one Goofy GooberâŠâ
ââŠwho made it to Shell City and found youâ.
Sandy smiled; âJust like SpongeBobâ.
Shellraiser took a deep breath, exhaling audibly.
âOkay. I have you backâŠâ
âAnd Iâm not going anywhere!â
âButâŠhow are we going to leave?â
Sandy stopped smiling; âOh...rightâ. They rested their hand on their mouth, trying to think.
âIâve got nothing, ShellraiserâŠâ
âWell, why donât we retrace our steps?â
âI donât think thatâll helpâ I meanâŠâ They looked around. âI donât even know where that Charging Station isâŠor where to start searching for itâŠâ
âNot physically, Sandyâ.
âOh! Um..Well the last thing I remember was that I was bringing my feet into the gap âcuz you said to. It was working fine until I got past my heels. Then I felt something shot through my body andâŠâ They trailed off.
Sandy looked at Shellraiser, who had already figured it out.
âI launchedâ.
âExactlyâ and by the looks of itâŠwe were sent pretty far. That launch mustâve been supercharged by the barrierâs energyâ.
Sandy tried to activate their launch again, but found themselves stuck where they were.
âWell, I canât launch now. Maybe it needs a source to draw power from?â
âGood thing we know where to find itâ. Shellraiser extended his arm, bringing the surrounding Charging Stations to Sandyâs attention.
âYou want me to break into another Charging Station?â
âPrecisely. Though you might want to keep yourself facing forward this timeâ.
âHm?â
âWell, youâd want to go inside the Charging Station, right?â
âOh, I get it now! Iâm gonna break the front open, place my feet on the gapâŠâ
ââŠand that would trigger the launch and send us home!â, Sandy and Shellraiser said simultaneously.
Sandy gasped; âItâll be just like when Spongebob and Patrick rode David Hasselhoff back to Bikini Bottom!â
Shellraiser let out a chuckle; âLetâs hope we donât have to deal with Plankton when we get backâŠâ
âIâll swim in front âcuz I know how an under-construction Charging Station looks, if thatâs ok with you!â
âLead the way, Sandyâ.
Sandy squealed and flapped their hands in joy, taking off like a rocket. Shellraiser followed, easily keeping pace.
âYâknow, swimming from station to station is kinda fun! When we get back home, we should totally spend a day at the Dreamworks Water Park!â
âI think Iâve had enough swimming for a whileâ Iâll just chill on one of the benches near the wave poolâ.
Despite the fun they were having, Sandy had yet to find the Charging Station they needed for the pairâs escape.
Fortunately, Sandy and Shellraiser wouldnât have to search for much longer.
âThere!â Sandy paused, pointing at something in the distance.
âYou see those two Charging Stations? Theyâre a bit transparent compared to the ones weâve come across...â
They swam off, with Shellraiser following behind.
Sandy approached the Charging Stations, placing their hand on the one closest to them.
ââŠwhich means their coaster is still under construction!â
On Sandyâs left, Shellraiser arrived, moving over to the other Charging Station.
âThese two are quite close to each otherâŠâ He extended his arm into the space between the Charging Stations. âCompletely parallel, unlike how most of them have been distributed aroundâ.
âThat just means that these two were meant for us to come across!â
âHopefully theyâll be easier to break throughâ.
âThey should be!â
Sandy raised their hands up, preparing to tear the barrier open.
âI still have no idea if this will workâ.
Shellraiser finished their thought; âBut what else can we do but try?â
Sandy plunged their hands into the barrier, using all their strength to begin pulling it apart.
âWow, youâre making great progress!â Shellraiser slashed at the barrier with his hand, grabbing the edges of the gash as he worked to make it bigger.
Sandy watched as the gap became larger and larger. Though the process was still strenuous on their body, their assumption had proven correct.
âI think itâs big enough for me to go through! How about you, Shellraiser?â Sandy looked over at his progress.
Shellraiserâs gap had reached near his knees and just over his forehead; âI concur!â
âOkay! Iâm gonna place my feet in the barrierâ you should do the same!â
âThen Iâll count us down!â
âGood call!â
Sandyâs gaze returned to the inside of their chosen Charging Station, their arms reaching high above their head.
âAlrightâ on the count of three! OneâŠâ
Sandy moved their feet towards the edge of the barrier.
ââŠTwoâŠâ
Shellraiser took a deep breath, focusing on the outcome he hoped to reach.
ââŠThree!â
With one swift motion, Sandy and Shellraiser brought their feet onto the barrier, a surge of electricity flowing through their bodies.
Their respective yells were cut off as they were shot inside their Charging Stations. Each barrier immediately began reforming, the landscape growing quiet.
Upon finishing their reconstruction, the Charging Stations gave off a brief shimmer, looking no different then they had before.
The void was at peace once again.
EDM music pounded in his ears as he hid behind a barrier. Today was the monthly âLate-Night Laser Tagâ event, in which adults 18 to 30 could play unlimited rounds for a set feeâ and as suggested in the title, the venue would remain open past its usual closing time of 9pm.
Just as the man thought he was safe, his gear flashed.
âArmor depletedâ, a mechanical voice said. âReturn to a power battery to recharge, or your gun will be disabled for the rest of the missionâ.
âFuckâ, he muttered.
Another man rounded the bend, only for his armor to do the same.
âThey got me, Tony! I canât believe our team is losing to those girlsâŠâ
âHey dumbass, you know thereâs girls on your team too! I swear to god, I always get paired with the idiotsâŠâ
Just as she finished that thought, the womanâs armor flashed. âAw, Câmon! I was distractedâŠâ
Shredder snuck past her âvictimsâ, giggling to herself.
âI see youâŠâ
She pointed her blaster at her next target.
âZap!â
Shredder happily skipped past.
âI see youâŠâ
She snuck up on an enemy player from behind.
âZap!â
They yelped in surprise. Shredder quickly moved away.
âOoh, sheâs goodâ, the person muttered.
Shredder was rapidly approaching the enemyâs baseâ her ultimate target. Though any person could shoot at the base to earn points and contribute to their teamâs overall score, whoever successfully âbreaksâ the base gets a large bonus.
Despite there being no indication which team was the âheroâ or âvillainâ (an intentional choice), Shredder took it upon herself to make it the latter.
âFoolish heroes! You thought you could take me and my army down, but your overconfidence was your downfall! Once your base falls, nothing can stop us from winning this battle!â
Shredder pointed her blaster up high, taking aim at the baseâs flashing target.
âYouâre mine!â
She pulled the trigger, her blaster letting out a buzz as it successfully registered a hit. A speaker mounted on the side of the wall broadcasted a message; âBlue Team base power-core meltdown in two hits!â
âHaha, yeah!â
But just when she was about to claim her bonus pointsâŠ
âBANG!â
Shredder froze in place, her armor flashing.
âYou left yourself open!â
She gasped dramatically as her attacker fled the scene.
âArmor depleted! Return to a power battery to recharge, or your gun will be disabled for the rest of the missionâ.
Clutching her chest, Shredder acted as if she had been actually wounded. She got on her knees, crawling her way towards the closest Red Team-branded battery.
âShredder!â
She perked up instantly. âOh, my most favorite soldierâŠ!â Shredder ran towards Timmy, who was happy to play along with her âvillainâ act.
âWho hurt you, my lady?â
Shredder fell back, with Timmy moving quickly to catch her.
âIt doesnât matterâ you need to take the base down for me! Itâs the only way we can winâŠand thatâs an order!â
Timmy nodded; âI understand, my ladyâ. She helped Shredder get back onto her feet, who quickly retreated to a nearby power battery.
With a determined look on her face, Timmy sprinted towards the base, barely managing to sneak past an enemy player. Moving behind the closest wall, she took a peek at her surroundings before she jumped out.
Timmy pulled the trigger on her blaster as fast as she could.
It buzzed, notifying Timmy of her success. âDANGER! Blue Team base power-core meltdown in one hit!â
Timmy could hear footsteps rapidly approaching behind her. âThereâs no time to fleeâ, she thought as she glanced at the clock. âItâs now or never!â
Timmy ran right under the base, aiming up at the target.
Her gun buzzed.
âYES!â
Lights flashed around her as alarms blared; âDANGER! Blue Team base power-core has failed! Evacuate Immediately!â Though there were no real consequences for sticking around, Timmy still went along with the illusion, making a successful escape.
A television screen sat above the door to the arena, quickly updating as the session concluded; âRED TEAM WINS!â Below the title displayed the top five playersâ with the best two being âSk8terGrrlâ and âShred_Samaâ.
Shredder eagerly munched at her pizza slice, with Timmy holding a slice in one hand and her phone in another.
âSome ppl might think itâs a bad thing to end a date with frozen pizza, but what they donât consider is the fun of swiping stuff right under someoneâs unassuming nose!â
âWell, it helps that we can turn invisibleâ, Timmy said as she took a bite out of her pizza.
âI donât know why we can do it, but thank goodness we can! Itâs a shame I couldnât do it when we were at the laser tag arena, though I guess we canât interact with humans if they canât see usâŠâ
A photo of Timmy and Shredder decked out in laser tag gear was on Timmyâs phone screen. She smiled, making sure to add it to her âFavoritesâ folderâ which contained dozens of photos featuring Shredder or the two together. Timmy scrolled through the album, sighing dreamily.
ââŠwhat do you want to do next?â
Timmy was snapped out of her daydream, looking up at Shredder.
âI think this date went well, didnât it?â
âU-um, yeah! Yes it didâŠâ
âSoâŠyou wanna go for round two?â
Shredder leaned towards Timmy, who blushed in response.
âYesâŠpleaseâ.
Shredder smiled, not realizing how she had come off to Timmy.
âGreat! I canât wait to see where youâll take me next!â
Timmy let out a small chuckle.
âMe tooâ.

Sandy slept soundly, their hand gripping a blanketâ Shellraiserâs jacketâ as he floated towards them.
âThank goodnessâŠtheyâre still hereâ, he quietly remarked.
âThe things I wouldâve done if you had vanishedâŠâ
He glanced at the front of the Charging Station.
âI wouldnât have been willing to come back as myselfâ.
Shellraiser places his right hand on the Charging Station.
âHow do we get out of here?, he thought.
Sandy began pulling their hands away from each other. Cracks quickly appeared from the incision they had made.
âCâmonâŠ!â
A jagged hole emerged from the gap between their knuckles; light shone from within, a faint movement present.
Sandyâs body trembled due to the pressure, but they soldiered on.
âThe fact that they were able to break the barrier at all is commendableâŠbut to be able to do so as it becomes stronger and strongerâŠshows their determinationâ.
Shellraiser looks down at his armsâ visibly toned as a result of all the exercise he partakes in.
âSandy isnât strong enough to do this on their own, but if I were to helpâŠâ
Shellraiserâs confidence fades.
ââŠI would be a massive hypocriteâ.
He sighs, leaning up against the side of the Charging Station.
âI stand by what I said to Sandyâ their misguided desires, the unknown danger of it allâŠhow it was different from me replicating their actions to find where they had goneâ.
Shellraiser felt his mask sag; he swiftly brought his hands to the back of his hair, untying the knot.
âBut do I really have another choice?!â
Shellraiser gripped his mask.
âAt worst, weâll die if we go through that Charging Stationâ.
Shellraiser brought his mask up to his face, making sure to perfectly align the slots for his eyes.
âIt could wipe our identities away, or even mash us together as it âcreatesâ a Coasterdroid for this coasterâŠâ
Shellraiser brought the ends behind his head, twisting them together.
ââŠor it could leave us aloneâ and lead us back homeâ.
Shellraiser finished the knot, pulling it tightly.
âI canât appeal to Sandy like I had tried to dissuade themâ.
He swam up, just in time to see Sandy begin to stir awake.
âSo Iâll have to try something elseâ.
Sandy stretched out of their sleep.
âHmâŠ?â
They noticed Shellraiserâs jacket.
âDid you give this to me?â
Shellraiser smiled; âYesâ.
ââŠThank youâ.
Sandy gently handed back the jacket to Shellraiser.
Shellraiser took a breath. âSo. Iâve had some time to think about some things, andâŠâ
Sandy tensed up.
âIâve decided to join you in breaking and entering this Charging Stationâ.
Sandyâs eyes widened, the shock kicking the tenseness out of them.
âWhat?!â
âYes, despite my status as the parkâs signature coaster, there are many things about myself that I donât likeâ that pothole is a particular bother for me. I know I was quick to criticize your way of thinking, but I was only thinking of the negative outcomesâ.
âHey, you know you donât have to do this because I am, right? I mean, youâre Shellraiser, the steepest roller coaster in the world! I like seeing you as a Gerstlauer Eurofighter, as Takabishaâs twin! Besides, your coasterâs way more reliable than mineâŠâ
âIâm honored by your praise, but this is what Iâve decided for myselfâ just like you haveâ.
âOhâŠokay thenâ.
âDonât worryâ.
Shellraiser extended his hand.
âIâll be with you the entire timeâ.
Sandy looked away, grabbing their shoulder.
âOkayâ.
Sandy returned the hand-shake.
âWeâll do this togetherâ.
Sandy stood in front of the Charging Station, glancing up and down at it.
âYou can start it, Sandy. Iâll jump in right afterâ.
Sandy extended their fingers, holding their hand vertically as they pulled their arm back.
Suddenly, their arm thrusted forward, slicing right through the front. Sandy quickly repeated their actions, bringing their other hand inside the Charging Station. Then, they began to pull their hands away from each otherâ and a hole began to form.
âOkayâŠyou can help me now!â, they requested. The Charging Station began to drone back at them, a low hum returning to the soundscape.
Shellraiser maneuvered his arms over Sandyâs shoulders, tightly gripping the sides of the broken barrier.
âYou pull down, I pull up, OK?â
Sandy gave an affirmative âMmph!â, placing their feet on the bottom edge of the Charging Station.
Shellraiser immediately felt the power of the barrier as he pulled, electricity blipping through his fingersâ though it wasnât enough to stop him.
âItâs working!â, Sandy exclaimed in-between huffs.
The gap had quickly expanded above Shellraiserâs head, and was currently making its way past his chest. Shellraiser could hear the âconversationâ again, echoing from within.
âCâmon SandyâŠshow me how strong you are!â
âIâm trying!â Sandy could feel their muscles scream in pain. âI donât exactly have âbreaking-through-a-barrierâ arms!â
âThen let me help you!â
Shellraiser pulled his right hand off the gapâs jagged edgeâŠonly for it to begin reforming. He yelped, quickly reversing his decision.
âSandyâŠI canât move my hands away without undoing my effortsâ you must do this on your own!â
Sandy let out a frustrated yell. âMaybe we shouldâve swapped directions!â
Sandy flipped themselves around, keeping their hands on the gap. Their back was now grazing the inside of the Charging Station, briefly letting go to reposition their arms.
âThatâs itâ tilt your head back slightly, itâll give you more leverage!â
Sandy was breathing heavily; âIâm not sure how much longer I can do thisâŠwe might just have to crawl our way to freedom, Shellraiser!â
Shellraiser analyzed their progressâ and was hit with an idea.
âUSE YOUR LEGS!â
Sandy looked down at their feet; âShellraiser, youâre a genius!â Sandy pulled their legs away from the surface of the Charging Station, scrunching their body up as they placed the edge of their heels on the gap.
As soon as Sandy began to push down, pain shot through their legs. They yelled out in surprise; âMy everything is burning!â
âPush through it, Sandyâ youâre making progress!â
At this point, the barrier had moved past Shellraiserâs stomach; Sandy gasped at the size of the gap.
âI think itâs almost enough for us to climb through! Though, you might need to crouch down, Shellraiser.â
âItâs ok, just keep pushing down!â
Sandy began to shuffle their feet into the gap, trying not to lose their gripâŠor balance.
âCâmonâŠâ
Every movement was strenuous, no matter how little it wasâ but they were making progress.
âCâmonâŠ!â
Their feet began to tilt towards the inside.
âIâve...â
Using every ounce of strength they could muster. Sandy nudged their feet forward.
ââŠgot it!â
Sandy placed their heels firmly on the edge of the Charging StationâŠ.and felt electricity pulse through their body.
All Sandy could do was gasp.
Pushed back by the force of their launch, Sandy slammed the back of their head right into Shellraiser, who let out a pained grunt.
Everything went black.
The momentum carried them forward, ripping them away from the Charging Station.
It quickly closed, looking no worse for wear.
Shellraiser and Sandy tumbled through the void, unaware of where or when theyâd stop.
âAttention, loyal subjects!â A womanâs voice crackled over an aging P.A. system. âDutch Wonderland, the kingdom for kids, is now open! Once you make your way through the entrance, weâll check your ticketâ and the fun can begin! All patrons are subject to a security check before enteringâŠâ
âWeâre hereâ.
RMT looked down at Slime Streak, holding her hand as the two walked past the entrance.
âI understand why youâd want a change of scenery, but youâll always be welcome at Great Adventure if you ever want to come backâ.
Slime Streak gave a small nod in response.
RMT sighed; she hated seeing Slime Streak like this. âTheyâre going to come back, dear. I just know itâ.
Slime Streak turned away from RMT.
ââŠand if you canât reach Shredder or Timmy, call me. Iâll get here as quickly as possible. Though Iâm sure this is nothing a queen canât handle!â
âThanks, Miss Mine Trainâ, Kingdom Coaster replied. âThough I must sayâŠitâs unfortunate that your 50th anniversary isnât going too wellâ.
âItâs not what we wouldâve wanted, but weâre making the best of itâ though with how silent theyâve been with Flash, I fear that theyâll be delayedâŠâ
âI wonder if the merger messed things up?â
âWell, it hasnât actually been finalized yetâ.
âMaybe itâll help things, thenâ.
âThatâs our hope. Iâd say they should fix the Skyride, but perhaps the company should help the park finish our current refurbishment projects before we start another one. Though I would like to see it run again somedayâŠâ
Slime Streak sat off to the side, watching the two converseâ but not actually paying attention to what they were saying.
âYOU THERE!â
Slime Streak jumped as a lance poked into her line of sight. She quickly got up from her seat, turning towards the voice.
âI understand that our queen has graciously allowed you sanctuary within the walls of our kingdom, correct?â
âYesâŠ?â
âThough I admire her generosity, I must notify you that any attempts to harm the queen or her royal mage will be met with physical resistance, courtesy of meâ Sir Joust! It is my duty to guard their lives, and as someone trained in the art of the bladeâ and with Mayhem at my sideâ donât even think about fighting back! Do you understand?â
Slime Streak was unimpressed, sitting back down; âSure, I guessâŠâ
Joust lowered his lance; âAw, câmon! Youâre supposed to quiver in fear at my awesomeness! Itâs no fun if you donât play alongâŠâ
âI donât feel like playing along, Joustâ.
âWhy not?â
Slime Streak sighed; âMy best friend is missingâ.
âOhâŠâ
Joust sat down next to her.
âApparently Sandy got stuck inside their Charging Station, and that led to Shellraiser to go inside his to find themâ.
âSo heâs missing too?â
Slime Streak nodded sadly.
âOh. Thatâs badâ.
âIt is. It makes me feelâŠultra sad. Like, sadder than when you scrape your knee or drop your ice cream. Itâs a sadness that doesnât go awayâ.
ââŠCould you make it go away?â
âWell, thatâs why Iâm here. I needed a break from living in New Jersey. Thatâs where my sadness originatedâ.
âThen maybe Pennsylvania will bring you some happiness!â
âI hope so, Joust. I really doâ.

Shredder looked at the box, which was just big enough to contain everything inside.
Photos, drawings, poetry, unopened gifts, multi-part plans scribbled on loose-leaf; there was even a little homemade doll made in his image.
Lighter fluid rained down on the collection, filling the air with the smell of alcohol.
Shredder pulled a matchbox from her boot, gingerly removing a match from inside. Striking the side of the box, she held the now-ignited stick in front of her.
Shredder tensed up.
âCâmonâŠitâs getting close to your fingersâ, she thought.
Shredder raised her hand slightlyâŠand flicked the match onto the pile. In an instant, everything was set ablaze. While she had used lighter fluid to ensure that nothing would survive the burning process, Shredder jumped back as the inferno grew.
Suddenly, she felt something make contact with her elbow; Shredder turned around to find a fire extinguisherâ and Timmy.
âHeyâ.
âOh. Hi.â
Timmy glanced past Shredder, admiring the fire.
âLooks like you wanted this to go out with a bang. Though I figured you wanted this tooâŠwe only want to get rid of all your Shellraiser stuff, not the stuff and youâ.
âOh. Yeah. Thanks.â
Shredder grabbed the extinguisher, turning away from Timmy. Getting as close to the fire as sheâs comfortable with, Shredder sits down and places the extinguisher next to her.
Timmy keeps her distance; âDo you want me to go back and get the sâmores kit?â
No response.
Timmy sighs.
Shredder glares at the fire, almost as if sheâs trying to speed the process up with her mind. Timmy takes her spot right next to Shredder.
âI thought youâd be happier about thisâ.
âI knowâ, Shredder whispers back.
The pops and crackles of the fire fills the area.
âTimmyâ.
She perks up; âYes?â
âYou saw how big that box was, right?â
âYeahâ.
âDo you know how long it took me to fill that box? Four-and-a-half years. Four-and-a-half years of pining and scheming to get his attention and hanging on every word he said because I was so infatuated with himâŠand he felt nothing. I tried so hard to make him fall for meâŠand for what? To be told that Iâm an idiot for feeling this way?!â
âShredsâŠâ
âWell, Shellraiserâs right; I'm an idiot. All this time, all the signsâŠand only when he spelled it out for me was I able to realize that he never loved me, and never willâ.
Shredder wipes tears away from her eyes.
âGuess Iâm justâŠunlovable.â
Timmy looks at Shredder with concern in her eyes.
âThis is itâ, she thought. âThis is the moment you tell her. Her confidence falters. âOrâŠis it? I hate seeing her like this, but would a love confession make this better? If I fuck this up now, I might not get another chanceâ.
Timmy shuffles closer.
âI know Iâd be pissed if someone tried to confess to me immediately after a breakup, and the last thing I want is to become a reboundâ.
She adjusts her position, now facing right in front of Shredder. Timmy glances back at the fire, still burning bright.
âShe definitely used lighter fluid for thatâŠâ
Suddenly, Timmy was hit with an idea.
âI have to be her lighter fluidâ.
Finally, Timmy spoke; âYouâre not unlovable, Shredderâ.
âI donât knowâ when youâre so passionate about a guy that you do all of these things, only for him to not care at allïżœïżœïżœsounds like the other person was the problemâ.
âYour passion wasnât the problemâ.
ââŠreally?â
âYes. Being passionate is a good thing; the real issue was who you were directing it to.â
âI guess Shellraiser was the most âwrong personâ I couldâve chosenâ.
âFrankly, I donât think there is a âright personâ for himâ.
Shredder was puzzled; âWhat do you mean?â
âSomeone needs to want a âright personâ to find them. Shellraiser just⊠doesnât have that desire in him, plain and simpleâ.
âOhâŠthen I really screwed up by falling for himâ.
âHey, itâs not your fault. I donât even think he fully understands that about himselfâ.
âYeah, but if I knew beforehandâŠâ
âHindsightâs 20/20, Shredsâ.
âRightâ.
Shredder looks at the fire, which has calmed down.
âI really hope thereâs someone thatâs ârightâ for me. Someone that might actually like getting all that stuff. Though I guess in retrospectâŠI did overdo it a bit. Maybe next time I can giveâŠhalfâŠof that to themâ.
âWell, if you want to find themâŠyouâll find themâ.
Shredder looks back at Timmy.
âI know you want a âright personâ.
âHeh, I donât exactly make it subtleâ.
âSoâŠdo you have one?â
Their gazes were fixed on each otherâ Shredder patiently waiting for a response, Timmy overcome with nervousness.
âY-yeahâ, she sputtered out.
Timmy swallows the lump in her throat.
âI, umâŠthink Iâve already found herâ.
After a few seconds of (agonizing) silence, Shredderâs eyes widened.
âIâM THAT GIRL?!â
Shredder put her hands on the side of her face.
âHow didnât I realize this sooner? Oh, this mustâve been so annoying for youâŠ!â
âAll of that talk was her flirting with me during my stint as park leader last Novemberâ and during that and that!â, she thought.
Shredder flailed her arms around; âAugh, Iâm the dumbest Coasterdroid in the world!â
âHey, you could be as dumb as rock and Iâd still want youâ.
âSo you think Iâm smart?â
âAlways haveâ.
Shredder smiled.
Timmy returned the gesture, noticeably blushing.
Shredder took a deep breath, audibly exhaling. She clasped her hands together; âTimmy, Iâm so happy that you like meâ it makes me feel better about this whole thingâ.
Timmyâs blush deepened.
âButâŠâ
Timmyâs heart sank.
âIâve only ever seen you as a friend. I donât think I can justâŠjump into a relationship like thatâ.
Timmy averted her eyes from Shredder, breathing heavily.
Shredder looked at her with concern.
âIâm sorryâŠâ
A tear rolled down Timmyâs cheek.
âI respect your feelings, Shred. I really doâ.
Timmy stood up.
âIâm not going to push this any further, butâŠIâm glad you were able to hear me outâ.
Timmy began to walk away, trying to keep her composure.
âWAIT!â
Timmy stopped.
âWhat if we went on a date?â
Her heart skipped a beat.
Thereâs still a chance.
Timmy ran back towards Shredder.
ââŠIâd like thatâ.
âIf it goes well, weâll go on other dates and maybe thingsâll click. If not, thatâs okay too. Weâll still be friendsâ and I know youâll find that âright personâ one day, Timmyâ.
Shredder pulls Timmy in for a tight hug.
âIâve always believed in youâ.
Timmy begins to cryâ though out of relief.
She returns the hug, resting her head on Shredderâs shoulder.
Sunlight blankets them in a warm embrace.

Felt like drawing some chibis againâŠ.so hereâs some of the Nick Universe gang! Timmyâs already themed to the (OG) Fairly Oddparents, so it only makes sense to have her cosplaying as one of the titular fairiesâ and every Cosmo needs a Wanda! Shredder was happy to join inâŠbut they were still missing something; a godkid! With Sandy as Hazel, this cosplay was ready for the public (or more accurately, Shellraiser and Slime Streak).
Hope you all enjoy! Iâve only seen bits and pieces of A New Wish but it looks miles ahead of what the OG show became in its final seasons. Itâs cool when the ppl behind a reboot/revival/sequel series are allowed to do their thing while respecting the foundation of what made the OG show so beloved.

Toroâs anger is something heâs struggled to control all his lifeâ and with a literal inferno on his head, itâs very visible to the others when Toro is pushed over the edge. Though he can better manage it nowadays, there are some choice topics that always bring Toro to his âignition pointâ. Regardless, when Toro âsees redâ, itâs hurting him the most.
For this peice, I didnât just want to draw a red scribble over his eyesâ I painted some red construction paper, cut it into little slivers, and glued it onto his face. It adds some dimension to this peice that it wouldnât have had otherwise.
But thatâs not all for this week; head over to my Toyhouse page for a story involving my Great Adventure charactersâ one that focuses on Toro, who finds himself in a âburning rageâ at a point in it, not unlike the one illustrated above.

First post of the new year, and the first of the âAlternate Universeâ designs I drew for some of my SFGAd coaster personifications! Today we have Medusa â2.0â as Medusaâ or more accurately, Medusa with their coasterâs original lime/purple color scheme. This design was mostly just a simple palette swap, with the sole new addition being the grape and vines around their elbows. Also threw in a ball python for fun because snakes are good :3 This design does make me wish Medusa kept its OG colors, not the biggest fan of the burnt orange/green lol.
But thatâs not all! I also have a whole document that goes into the AUs that these designs come from (and more!) You can find it via the link below;
(Also, a small disclaimer; I used the Photoshop Express appâs âheal" feature to remove some noticeable pencil marks from the drawing. Outside of that, the drawing is unchanged.)
