Looking for: • An active, long-term partner (21+) to write as Yandere!Ted "Theodore" Logan against my Bill S. Preston, Esquire from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure! I just love the idea of a sweet, puppy-like character going absolutely crazy. They will both be aged up to 18.

• I don't have a preferred ratio of plot/smut, but an estimate would be an even 50/50 (this can change later on depending on the story if you'd like). We can discuss general triggers and kinks as well before we start. Although I am smut-fishing just a little lol

• I would prefer to write Bill as the bottom/sub since I'm more comfortable with writing them. This WILL contain 🕊 such as noncon/dubcon, kidnapping, violence, murder, obsession, stalking - your usual yandere behavior.

General Idea: Set sometime after Excellent Adventure when they've passed their history report but haven't graduated from high school yet. There's still the worry about prom, and Ted doesn't take it too well when Bill rejects his promposal. 156, but two or three of those are Round Robins I participated in, and two are collabfics. The rest are all mine, though.

Marvel is my main squeeze fandom, but I've got one Stranger Things fic up and I want to write a few more. I've got a tiny Hannibal fic up, one solitary M*A*S*H that had been a request of one of my besties (and that was definitely enough and I love that show), and there's a Contrarywise/Trickster's Touch ficlet up. Oh yeah, and I have a few Bill and Ted fics up and some other random old stuff that I finally stuck on my AO3 (Lost Boys, From Hell)

4. do you respond to comments? why or why not?

Always. First off, it's so rare these days to get comments because of all the reasons/excuses people give for not leaving comments on fics that to get comments is such a treasure and joy, so of course, I'm going to comment back. Second, if some of those reasons/excuses are true (shyness, anxiety, awkwardness) then I'm doubly grateful for the people who do comment - esp if they are commenting while anxious/shy/awkward - that I want to make sure they realize that their comments are appreciated and that they are not bothering me with their comments. Though I still don't understand that concern. If a writer doesn't want comments on their fics, they'll set it up so that no one will comment. If we've got our comments open, we want comments and you're never bothering us with them.

5. have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so. Given how wildly unpopular I seem to be as a writer, I can't imagine anyone wanting to steal what I've written.

6. have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yep. I've got two collabfics up on AO3 that I wrote with @scottxlogan, and we've got two more in the wings just needing to be finished so I can post them up.

7. what’s your all-time favorite ship?

No. I don't have one all-time favorite ship. I have many favorite ships - Loki/Tony Stark, Loki/Bucky Barnes, Loki/Steve Rogers, Loki/Emma Frost, Loki/Justin Hammer (don't give me that look, they're fun), Tony/Bucky, Tony/Steve, Tony/Scott Summers, Tony/Emma Frost, Steve/Bucky, Steve/Scott Summers, Steve/Emma, Scott/Logan, Scott/Bobby, Scott/Kurt... I mean, that's just the Marvel list, and it's not even a complete one. There's also Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson, and so many others from other fandoms that I may not write for but I like to read.

8. what are your writing strengths?

Apparently humor, Easter Eggs, dialogue, fluff, sexy times, and making people hungry by including food into so many fics.

9. what are your writing weaknesses?

World building if I'm having to create a world from scratch. I can do it, but it's a lot of work and then I get stressed. I used to world-build in rp writing with my former roommate, and when we quit writing, I thought I might take some of our old rps and turn them into og fiction, but there are some that are so wildly extensive in the world building that I will probably stick to re-reading them and not actually trying to re-write them into og fiction.

10. first fandom you wrote for?

If we're talking the first time I ever wrote fanfiction without knowing that fanfiction was a word, that'd be the Children of the Corn fanfic I wrote when I was 12-13. It was in pencil, and it was big time Mary Sue, and I don't even have it anymore because over many decades, the pencil faded/smudged, and I'm pretty sure I tossed it into the trash. (It was sooooooooooooooooooo bad.) The first fandom I was in once I knew what fanfiction was - Jay and Silent Bob. Yes, I still have those fics, and no they aren't posted anywhere, and they won't be. With the exception of a Loki series fic I wrote that has a tiny crossover with Dogma (that was called a therapy fic), I won't go back to that fandom.

Considering what Ted was hearing and seeing, well... he was handling it quite well. Even if the only thing he could muster was a simple: "No way!" and a look of mixed shock and awe.

yknow what? the first time patton ever wears his cardigan - like, actually puts it on, i mean - is also the first time that he and logan are a genuine team, in the sherlock and watson video. 

logan pauses his protests of patton joining in the deduction process to ask about it: “Is that- are you wearing the cardigan that’s usually wrapped around your shoulders?”

and patton grins and answers, “i’ve been waiting for this day to wear it!”

of course, we don’t really know what pat means by “this day” - maybe the day where he specifically got to rp watson, maybe the day he and logan got to work together as a team - but no matter what, patton wearing his cardigan in an effort to be costumed and fit in with logan so he can join the ‘case’ is a cute and noteworthy moment in the episode and our understanding of their relationship/characters.

and then! then, in the nostalgia episode, the episode where logan and patton differ so much and so drastically that logan sees no other choice but to leave the room and the discussion, the episode focused on MEMORIES and MOVING ON TO NEW THINGS, what does logan give patton as an apology?

only noah centineo i’ve actually paid attention to and liked was yours meha. honestly i was all into the peter kavinsky hype when to all the boys first came out but after watching his other movies i lost interest and think he’s ugly but i love andrew w/ all my heart

only good experience i’ve had w/ matt daddario is as ted tonks and honestly i have no interest in using him or seeing him used by anyone else??? he doesn’t really do it for me and every time i see him played in groups he’s broody and annoying??? can someone just play him as some cute nice guy?? 

i’ve never seen chord overstreet used as anyone but sam evans and none of the sam evans i’ve seen have made a positive impact on my rp experience. there was a couple of terrible sam’s but honestly it’s been pretty neutral and i don’t care about him as a fc 

i haven’t played against any great logan’s tbh and i’ve never been interested in using him

Fic Writer Questions

I was tagged by @mcfiddlestan so yay! Fic-y question thingies.

1) How many works do you have on AO3?

57. About to be more than that, though, because I'm working on several next parts to several series, and I assume they count that as individual works.

2) What’s your total AO3 word count?

324,681. Again, that's about to go up several times.

3) How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?

Well, that gets fun because what I have on AO3 is mostly Marvel-related with one tiny Hannibal ficlet, one Bill and Ted, one M*A*S*H (that was by request and likely will never be a repeated fandom as much as I love the show), one Zohra Greenhalgh (Contrarywise and Trickster's Touch). Now, what I've written in the past as a fandom was Jay and Silent Bob, and that will NEVER happen again. But yeah, mostly it's Marvel and mostly these days Avengers-related with some X-Men still thrown in for flavor.

5) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I respond to all comments I get. I know that for some people it takes a lot of guts to comment, and I think that needs to be acknowledged, even if it's a simple thanks.

6) What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don't write a lot of angst, and usually by the end of a fic, I prefer to have it happy and not angsty. That said, I'd have to say that it's a toss-up between these small fics:

Time After Time

I have angst in my stories. Some. They mostly seem to be sass and humor and romance and cuddles and sex and making out, but the angst is only a tool to keep the characters fighting and on their toes.

7) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

I've got several series going now, so I won't count them in since technically, none of them have ended yet. I thought about putting that Never Piss Off a Telepath; Or How Logan Opened His Mouth and Said a Stupid Thing just because that's one of my funniest fics, I think, but I would have to say that the happiest ending may be in Two Turtle Doves, which is a Charles Xavier and Raven Darkholme as children/brother and sister at Christmas fic, and the ending still really makes me smile a lot when I re-read it.

8) Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I haven't yet, technically. I started an X-Men/Avengers/Wicker Man (1973 version) one after all of the Brian Michael Bendis AvX bullshit storyline, and I may eventually finish it. I was angry. I wanted Steve Rogers to pay. I lashed out in the fic. Or was going to. The other crossover I'm planning (and even hinted at it in Spinning on that dizzy edge (I kissed his face and kissed his head) will be a Tony Stark/Chris Knight (Real Genius) fic, taking place not long after Chris graduates and is working for Darlington. I've got another one in mind that I've made notes for that's an Avengers/Flash Gordon (1980 version with all the flash and color and Queen songs), and then I just finished watching Boardwalk Empire, so there's a 1920s Marvel'verse AU, though I guess that's not really a crossover.

9) Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Hahahaha! Funny you should ask. I received my first ever hate on To get it right even a little / and that little grudging and awkward the other day. In fact, the hate was the first comments I got. I've deleted it, and I did report it but AO3 couldn't do anything about it because the person who commented used a name but wasn't logged in, so they couldn't have their IP traced. But it was all full of "you should kill yourself" and "I hope you're raped" because they claimed to be a Stucky shipper (in fact their moniker was "stuckygirl") and that Steve and Loki were a horrible ship because Loki is just a nasty greasy villain. Blah blah blah. I was more amused by it than anything, especially since there's a chance that the person who commented was a stalker of one of my besties who keeps trying to lash out at them and may well have decided to lash out at me as well. Who knows? Who cares?

10) Do you write smut?

Oh yes. As much as I can get away with. Smut is life. Smut is harmony in the universe. Smut is KFC's 7 herbs and spices.

11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so. I have no idea how to figure that out.

12) Have you ever had a fic translated?

Again, I don't know. How would I find that out?

13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope. I've rp-written before, but I've never co-written a fic.

14) What’s your all time favorite ship?

I don't just have one. Sorry. FrostIron, WinterFrost, FrostShield, WinterIron, Stucky, Stony, Scogan, IronDiamond, DiamondFrost, DashingFrost, DiamondClaws, and I may soon get to see how much I love DiamondShield.

15) What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

That may be the X-Men/Avengers/Wicker Man one. I have to feel the anger to finish that one off, I think, and I've pretty much decided that neither Brian Michael Bendis nor AvX exist, so.

16) What are your writing strengths?

I think humor and sarcasm are two of my biggest strengths, to be honest. I didn't realize it till I started adding it in almost organically, and that's pretty much where it is for me. I'd say the ability to convey emotions, expressions, touch, and romance are right up there, too.

17) What are your writing weaknesses?

Well, outside of the writing itself, trying not to be discouraged by people's lack of comments and kudos on my fics to the point of not writing is a writers block-inducing weakness, but I think I'm getting over that mostly these days. Trying to find the right balance between explication, "showing," and description, though I've also recently decided that description is not a weakness because I want to make the settings pretty visual.

18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I think there's a fine line that this concept dances on. I LOVE to do it, but I also now want to make sure that it works smoothly into the story. I try and provide translations in the notes when I do it. I try not to overdo it, but I think it's necessary. It's the same thing as writing in accents. That's also dancing a fine line because you want to give a flavor of the accent, but you don't want to overwhelm the readers with dialect and accent. Not unless you're Stephen King and you've just written Dolores Claiborne.

19) What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Okay, the first fanfiction I ever wrote was when I was about 13, and it was a Children of the Corn Mary Sue. It was in pencil. Wrote it start to finish. And it has since gone to the gods in the circular altar.

The first fandom I consciously wrote for was Jay and Silent Bob, and yes, I still have those stories, but they no longer exist online since @jcrewguy blessedly took down his sites. Those fics will never see the light of day again because I don't like the movies anymore.

20) What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Nope. They're all my babies, and I love them equally. I can't pick a favorite.

Hey! How you would you recommend starting a RP blog? I have a character I just need to create a blog for her. I'd love to RP with you.

//Hello there! So first I have to say thank you so much for being interested in RPing with me, though unfortunately I have to admit it’s been a very long time since I’ve roleplayed Ted at all and I can’t promise if/when I’ll get back into it. This has kind of become a general Ted Logan fan blog for the time being.

But! As for making an RP blog. Everyone goes about it differently but I can for sure give you a few tips on how I like to get things started.

1. Create the blog. You can either make a separate account for it, or make it a side blog. Personally I recommend making a separate account as I find it easier to interact with other roleplayers that way (and keep your RP dashboard separate from your personal one), but do whatever works best for you.

2. There are two very important pages I recommend you make on your blog: an about/bio page, and a rules page. The bio page of course to tell people about your character. Physical appearance, personality, etc. Doesn’t have to be a lot, but some general information so we can get a feel for what your character’s like. This is especially important if they’re an OC (original character) that you created. The rules page isn’t necessarily rules, but a place to tell other roleplayers what you are and aren’t comfortable writing, what your writing style is, etc. Anything you think potential writing partners should know about you/your writing goes here. Try to have most of your information written up before you start following RP blogs or asking people to roleplay.

3. Follow roleplay blogs you’re interested in writing with! If there are particular characters/fandoms you want to write with, you can try searching the RP tags on tumblr (such as #bill and ted rp for Bill and Ted roleplayers, or #indie rp for independent RP blogs from various fandoms.) An important thing to do before trying to RP with them though is to read any rules/guidelines they have, if they have any. After that, don’t be afraid to ask them about roleplay! Just remember to be patient and give them time to respond, and don’t get discouraged if they no. The hardest part of RP is getting started and putting yourself out there but there’s thousands of roleplayers on this site, so you’ll find people soon enough! You can also try making yourself a promo post.

There’s a lot more when it comes to RP, but that’s the basics to getting started I think. If you’re brand new to roleplay, especially on tumblr, and you’re unfamiliar with all the RP lingo around here, feel free to ask me about them and anything else you’re curious about! I could ramble on for days but this answer is already getting really long lol. Good luck!

Cutest thing you bought for Bill?

We went to an arcade together once, and I won him a big stuffed frog holding a heart from a crane machine. I didn’t buy it I guess, but I did spend all my summer money!
