I unfortunately picked up Bravely Default 2 again (I bought it back when it released) and then started over since I last played it in June 2021. And. You know what. I like these silly beans. And then I saw concept art for Dag's expressions and I am not the same. Why did they decide to give him huge fangs in it.

So I've been playing Echoes of the Eye for a while now, and I still have a lot to discover but as the resident furry/monsterfucker I have to say, I'd 100% kiss the owl people. They're tall and scary, which honestly would be enough for me, but also they're weirdly polite and make some banging tunes. They look like they're very soft to the touch, and like they're great huggers. Overall 10/10 creatures

actually i love the non-traditional found family dynamics between everyone in orv. like sure if you wanted to be boring you could label people as "siblings" or "parent-child" or "dad/mom/parents" but like. that's just not how they do things. like sure kdj takes care of lgy and sys but he's not really their dad or older brother or anything like that. and yeah ljh and the kids bicker and play with one another but they're not really siblings. and even though lhs and jhw are close they're not Together or even like team mom and dad or whatever.

it's just this little ragtag group of people who have become something of a family after going through the scenarios together and they all take care of each other.
