imagine scaramouche and your's first kiss happening on the bench of a bus stop, the pitter patter of rimy rain only but a distant song, your heart taking hold of the main chorus and echoing loudly in your ears as the indigo-haired man leans in, capturing your lips with his. a hand snakes its way to your nape and tickles your skin before further pulling you, his tongue meeting yours briefly―then he pulls away, and you're left breathless from a mere second of his brazenness. a condescending chuckle reels you back to reality, eyes landing upon scaramouche's raised brow and his signature smirk. there's something different about it, despite having seen it over and over again everyday. invisible strings wrap around your lungs, and they bleed for you to have a sudden epiphany about the matter. you want to kiss it away so bad, you realize. “you're kinda cute like this, y'know?” he says, words giving way to disentangle your heartstrings from your lungs, yet you take in a rather desperate sharp inhale when he presses his forehead against yours, feeling the sultriness of his breath kiss and curve your skin before the bitter air of the weather bites at it once more. “so? if you don't say something i'll take this as permission to kiss you more,” he laughs, “not like i care for that, anyways.” all you can do is nod and wait with bated breathe―drawing the cold, city air as he advances and kisses you again― the deluge long forgotten and only a prelude to indigo and light violet.
