mind.in.a.box. albums on Bandcamp!

This evening was weird. I got a notification on my phone, that mind.in.a.box. has released an album. I was like "Black and White release day is 30th, what's going on?"

I tapped the notification and...

Revalations! The one album that is missing from my collection (digital + physical). I think this is first time it is available to purchase digitally. I ordered the CD once directly from MIAB, with an autograph. I recieved the Club Mixes EP instead... Oh well...

Anyways, more notifications. More albums. Revalations Club Mixes. World Without a Sky single. Memories. Broken Legacies. All the albums are now on Bandcamp. I think Black and White will be there too, when it comes out. I have the CD pre-ordered.

mind.in.a.box. albums are worth purchasing. They are damn good. They also sound completely different from stream versions. Like with Revalations, I never really haven't listened it much. Sometimes on YouTube. Mostly Remember song. I was baffled when I listened it. So much cleaner. Better. My sister said she found new instrument from Sanctuary.

Now I can finally enjoy Revalations and form an opinion on it :D

Thank you so much for the ask!!! I completely forgot somehow that I reblogged an ask game and so when I came back to this I was like.. woa!!! It was like a free surprise for myself I love it.

🏩 - how does your f/o act when they're sick?

Depending on how sick he is depends on how long he will last, but Lightning spends the first hour or few of him being sick being "I'm completely fineee! It's just a few minor symptoms.." and then regaurdless of if the symptoms actually progress or not he completely crumbles and caves in and needs to be doted on. This happens regaurdless of how sick he is, even if it's just a runny nose and a headache with some sneezing he will eventually reach a point of pouting and claiming that he can't leave his bed(super effective on me, I will absolutely dote on him without hesitation). Though once he's better he normally ends up trying to bashfully deny ever acting in such a manner, or that anyone that was "that sick" would also have been in that state!

Jackson hardly ever gets sick, so he will completely refuse to believe he is sick until the very last minute or it reaches the point that he can't deny it anymore. He absolutely can not stand being sick though, and he will immediately go and take medicine and go through a cycle of really hot showers, hot foods, swaddling himself with heating things and blankets, and trying to sleep his way through the entire thing so he can just drive any of the sickness out of him as quick as possible. If anything I'm there to keep him from going overboard and roasting himself alive(especially if he's already running a fever) and keeping him from driving himself mad. Being sick already sucks, don't need to be sick and upset on top of it!

🧶 - other than their main hobby/career, what other sorts of things do they like to do?

I think I mentioned this before in like the biggest tangent ever, I can't remember what prompted it, funnily enough I think it mightve been in responce to something you asked as well, haha!! But Lightning actually really loves dinosaurs and going to museums and just getting to infodump a bunch. He will hardly turn down a challenge to things and likes to push himself and can be a bit competitive(some times a little less playfully than others), but he has moments of totally just wanting to kick his feet up and relax, watch some documentaries or to just let himself doze off.

Jackson is often understimulated most of the time and has trouble finding things that don't leave him feeling bored or empty/unsatisfied, and it's partly why he sticks to games, or moreso one racing simulator game in part because it was one of the few things that he actually enjoyed as was good at. He keeps himself very reserved, and even something as simple as just finding out what he enjoys is something he keeps close to his chest, but truthfully I think he kinda enjoys and prefers to getting to kinda be more of a tag-along in things, or at least, he does with me. That way if he's bored he can engage as much as he'd like, and if it's too overwhelming for him he can seperate himself or just leave whenever he wants. There's a little bit more to it than that because he can at least be open about it with me(even if he doesn't have the nerve to be very direct about it, believe it or not) and it's not perfect in every situation, but it's easier for him to just be on the sidelines and commentate or be an observer. He definitely has a fondness for techno/digital stuff like video games and LED lights in rooms and RGB keyboards and lights in gaming computers, etc., and he enjoys rediculous(/positive) tehcno/electro dubstep sorts of music. I'd be impressed if you caught him listening to anything else. I don't think he ever really got the chance to explore himself or his interests or what he'd be interested in very much in the first place, so it's really nice to kinda get to explore that with him and find out :)

Twitter's being so weird rn apparently people are getting mad at someone who made dsmp charms, in which one of them is of Techno - With all of the proceeds from the techno charm goign to charity - and saying that it breaks his boundaries bc of a discord message.

I'm not gonna try get too into the "breaking boundaries" part, but what about all the zines made in techno's memory that were also charity-based? wouldn't this be the same? the artist isnt profiting off of techno's image, in the tweet itself you can see that all of the proceeds for the tehcno charm goes to charity.

Also should mention most of the people mad about it are drm stans that are also mad because the artist didnt make drm charms.

Psst. Psssst. talking about animorph au

I've mentioned that Tehcno gets stuck halfway between a pig/boar(recently learnt those were the same thing. Wild thing to discover in 2024) But the way he gets stuck is -

Pig face is still there, including pig eyes. That means he's pretty much red/green colourblind and cant focus his eyes (pig man needs glasses, L)

He does have hair, but not a lot. In my animorph drawing i did i completly forgot to add it - but it's pink and also very strandy and not too long. Wouldnt make for good hair to braid, sadly.

His body is slanted forward (his spine got messed up) so he needs (forearm) crutches/a walker to get around and not. tumble forwards every couple steps (side note Ax in the actual animorph series should have had crutches when in human morph because of the terrible imbalance of going from four legs to two. This is not important but i needed to say it)

His arms are very hoof like still (so are his legs, but those are longer because they were farther along in the morphing process.) But he's at a weird middle ground with them where his hooves split into stiff-but-movable fingers. he doesnt have a working thumb, there's just a bump on the side of his hoof-hand

The few parts of his skin that isnt still pink fur (like his lower back and some spots around his neck and head) is coarse pink flesh.

No clothes fit him anymore (obviously) so Tommy learnt how to sew/stitch to make clothes for him that fit! Concequence being that a lot of Techno's clothes are just pieces of fabric cut up and sewed toghether again multiple times. Tommy isnt good at sewing yet but he'll learn, it's fine! He's doing his best

Also i know i didddd draw Tommy as a yellow/albino raccoon, but that is a very noticeable little creature. And Tommy has that raccoon morph mainly for spying and eavesdropping. So it would be very Not a good disguise, so sadly because i need an inch of realism in my "they can turn into animals and also there are aliens" au he is a normal raccoon. Unless i feel like drawing him as a golden raccoon. But canonicly in this au he doesnt tend to morph into the yellow/albino raccoon sadly. Big lost for the raccooninnit nation i know, but he is still a raccoon

I will probably talk more about both Niki and Ranboo in this au, Phil doesnt have a solid role yet but i know that if he does he very much will be Normal Guy (unless i change my mind, not super likely.) If anyone has questions about what the hell this is ask it and i will answer it so eagerly, im assuming no one who follows me really knows what animorph is
