We are such a joke. How can fourth place be an argument to remain coach at BORUSSIA DORTMUND?
We're not a serious club anymore.

And that, Allegri, is what a real 5-star attack looks like. Well done Terzic, I’ve been impressed lately. 👍🏾

'1308!' Y/n gets up from her seat and gets the drink before she eventually left. The hot drinks manage to reduce the cold she felt in her hands as she made her way inside the venue. The hall was packed, with a few staff going around and players coming in and out. You give the drink to your manager and a few superiors before you left inside the stadium.
The manager whom you know as Terzic made his way towards you and smile 'Hello, are you the club's new photographer?' You grin and offered him a handshake 'Nice to meet you, sir,' He accepted the handshake and guide you around the venue 'You can take pictures from any angle but I'll specialize you to do it often near the flag.' He reminded and continue talking 'This helps you to take a better angle of the boys when they score.' You nod at him and begin again to hear him guiding you.
It was the end of your first day, a great start, the guys were nice, especially the number four, Nico Schlotterback. He was a nice guy despite looking a tad bit like a playboy, he's pretty nice. You get to know that he was also three years older than you.
Right now, he was escorting you back to your room along with his friend, Jude. Jude was rather the opposite. Not really, he's lovely, just lovely that he send a smile your way when you both first meet but he doesn't seem like a very sociable person. Neither did you but it's hard to strike up a conversation with the Londoner, unlike his other mates.
The three of you walk together as Nico helps you with your stuff when suddenly one of the staff called out for him, he looks between you and Jude and sough 'You can help accompany her to her car?' Nico asked Jude. You look at him for a moment and he nods.
Before Nico walks out, he whispered something over to you 'Just you know Jude is not always like this, he's lively.' And then he left, you tilt your head not really getting what he meant but you push the thought away and continue walking out with Jude 'You can wait here for one sec? I need to get my stuff.' He smile and nods.
You hurriedly went inside and grab your bag along with your car key, 'Thanks, you can give me that now. I'll handle it from here.'
'It's okay, I insist.' He rasps offering you yet another gentle smile and leading you outside to the basement parking lot. You instruct him to put the box at the backseat. You open the front seat door and put one hand over it 'Thanks, you helped me a lot!' He scrapes the back of his neck and kindly smiles 'Small matter...' His mouth open and closed like he was about to say something but hesitant 'You okay?'
'If you are fine, can you give me your phone number?' You look at him, baffled. Your hand twitches as you laugh lightly at the unexpected request 'Uhm... Yes sure, of course,' He handed you his cell and you punch your phone number inside 'Well, text me if you need anything.' You stammered before entering the car 'Well, see you tomorrow Jude!' You bid him goodbye before you start the engine and left the location.
A hard slap at the back of his back awaken him back to his sense 'I know you could do it!' Nico snickered at his friend, Jude flushed and dismisses the topic with an elbow to the stomach 'Shut up, I would've done it either way even if you didn't tell me to.' The two friends left and went back inside to pack their things.

Championship loss - Julian Brandt
Tumblr media
Pairing: Julian Brandt x female reader
Warnings: I'm gonna break your hearts again with the Championship loss, but also a lot of fluff, soft moments, teeny tiny bit of teasing, badly translated German, mentions of Jannis and Jascha
Word Count: 1653
Note: As always, English is not my first language. This one has been on my mind since we lost. Next one should be a Jude one and then I can get to the requests in my inbox. This one just had to come out now. Remember it's fictional, some parts may be alike with real life and some I just came up with. Please do not copy and/or publish my work, reblogging is perfectly fine!
Dortmund vs Mainz. The last game of the season and all we needed to do was win. Win so we could win the league. Win so we could lift the Meisterschale. That was the dream, everything Dortmund had worked so hard for and we didn’t win it. The equalizer from Niklas wasn’t enough because Bayern won their game. And now everything has become a nightmare. She’s watching speechless as she sees the defeat and utter disbelief on everyone’s faces.
But the one she is worried about most hasn’t come back onto the field again. Julian was subbed out in the 62nd minute and she knows he’s beating himself up. She may not be able to see him from where she’s stood, but she can feel his pain. Pain she also feels because she loves Dortmund, but it’s probably nothing compared to Julian’s pain and the other players. She’s not even surprised that not a single fan has left the stadium, the fans loyal to a fault. She’s still trying to find him when the stadium camera’s zoom in on the bench and there he is. Eyes red and teary, a few wet streaks and Julian just staring into the distance. That’s the moment she started crying too.
She watched as Terzic went to Julian and patted him on the face. The camera’s stopped showing the bench after that and a few moments later Julian stepped back out on the pitch. She watched as he slowly made his way to his teammates in front of the yellow wall. He didn’t really approach anyone, just standing between everyone and she knows he is already closing himself off. The disappointment is clear everywhere and yet the yellow wall sings and they support their players. They clap for the yellow wall, apologizing to the fans and thanking them for their support.
She watches as Julian crouches down, hand going over his face. She grabs onto Jascha’s arm, who has been standing next to her the whole game. He looks down at her, eyes leaving his brother. He sees the pain on her face, the tears still streaming even if she wipes them every few minutes. He pulls his arm out of her grip and she looks up at him a little panicked. She’s scared that she had upset her younger brother-in-law, only to have him wrap his arm around her shoulders to help comfort her. In return she wraps an arm around his waist. She looks back to where she last saw Julian only to see his deflated form sitting near Nico.
All she wants to do is go to him, but she can’t. She’ll have to wait till he comes to her. She watches as the team gets up and goes to walk past the fans. The fans comfort the players as they walk by, a few of them giving away their jerseys, Julian included. And even though it really isn’t the time, she can’t help but admire Julian and his physique. She sees him shirtless all the time, but after a game it always hits differently. But it’s not just his physique, it’s the way he takes the time with fans, talks with them and shows them he is as disappointed as they are. And yet he appreciates every single fan. His introverted side is not in sight with the fans. But she knows that’ll change once they’re alone.
She notices that Jascha stopped rubbing her arm and that’s when she notices her tears have stopped as well. She turns to him and thanks him for being a brilliant brother-in-law. She spots Jannis still near the other photographers, he turns that exact moment and they lock eyes. He waves at her and she manages to wave back with a bittersweet smile before he turns back to take more pictures. That’s when Jascha softly squeezes her arm and she follows his gaze to the pitch. And she sees her favourite sweaty blonde walk towards them.
His head is down, but he walks with purpose.
She already has the boarding digging into her hips before he’s even close. But the second he’s close enough, her arms wrap around his shoulders. It’s as though a weight drops off his shoulders and he wraps his arms around her waist. They hide their faces against each other’s necks. She inhales his scent, a scent that’s pure Julian and she hears him do the same. She can’t help but tighten her grip on him a little and move one hand to his golden locks. He pulls her in a little closer and presses a few small, soft kisses to the nape of her neck.
“Ich bin so stolz auf dich, Schatzie.”
“Wofür? We drew the game and lost the title. We bottled it.”
She immediately pulls away and he looks at her a little offended that she’s pulled away from him so quickly. She immediately makes sure to make it up to him by putting her hands on his jaw and drawing his face closer to hers. His arms tighten around her again as she does so and she presses a few butterfly kisses across his face.
“I’m proud of you for the good times, the bad times and everything in between. You have given it your all, you all managed to get back from 9 points difference. You battled through an injury whilst being in your prime and you still managed to give Bayern the biggest challenge they’ve had in years. You, Julian Brandt, are one of the best players on this team and if you’d ask me alone, I’d tell everyone you are the best. For your spirit, your passion, your perseverance, your love for the club and the fans. You live and breathe football at this club Schatzie. And I wouldn’t be surprised if you’d end up being like Reus for the fans. You give everything and more Jule and you can’t imagine how proud I am that I get to call you mine.”
As she’s talking to him, she can see a few tears start to gather on his lashes again. He presses his forehead to hers and the smile he gives her is brighter than the sun. She returns the smile and presses a kiss to his lips. It’s sweet, loving and passionate all at once.
“Ich liebe dich.” He whispers against her lips and she smiles, returning the phrase to him.
It’s then that they realize where they are and that they’re not alone. Julian presses another quick kiss against her lips before going to hug Jascha, who is giving him a mischievous look. Both Julian and her give Jascha suspicious looks but he just waves them away. They share a look but let it go. Mats approaches them to tell Julian that they have to go inside. Julian nods and turns back to her one more time. He presses another kiss to her lips.
“Will you wait for me here in the stadium?” She nods at him and presses another kiss to his lips.
As he makes his way to the dressing room, she and Jascha head inside to wait for Julian in the family area. She gets the chance to ask Jascha what his mischievous look was for. He just glances at her and tells her to look at her phone. She gives him a confused look but does as he says. She sees a few messages from him and the second she opens them, she knows why he was acting that way. He took some pictures of her interaction with Julian. And she can’t help but feel happy that he did. It’s clear in the pictures that they clearly love each other very much and she knows she’ll definitely use one as her background and that she’ll hang a few in their apartment.
“Danke, Jascha.”
Jascha just shrugs and gives her a wink. They talk for about 20 minutes and during that time Jannis has joined them. He’s showing her some of the pictures he made when some players finally enter the room. Julian makes an immediate beeline towards them, ignoring everyone else and she knows he’s in his own headspace now. He gives Jannis a slap on his back and then moves to wrap his arm around her. He stands close to her, now without the boarding between them. His forehead leans against her temple and she runs a hand through his still partially wet hair.
They go home soon after that and once home they order some food and crash on the couch. He’s quiet as he hands her the remote for the tv. He makes sure she’s in the corner of the couch and then goes to lie down between her legs, his front pressed against hers, head on her chest. She chooses a series and runs her fingers through his hair as they wait for their food. They don’t talk and she knows Julian isn’t paying attention to the tv. He’s in his own head, thinking of today’s outcome.
They eat in silence once the food arrives and then move to their bed. She knows he needs his own headspace to get over it and she lets him approach her if he needs anything. She’s used to it and she knows it’s what he’s most comfortable with. He’s in bed before her, but the second she gets on the bed he immediately pulls her to him. He pulls her as close to him as he can, her head on his chest this time and the sound of his heartbeat calms her completely. His scent envelopes her again and she sighs in complete content, making Julian smile and press a kiss to her hairline.
“Danke, meine Liebe. Ich liebe dich.”
"Natürlich, Schatzie. Ich liebe dich für immer.”
This time it’s Julian that sighs in content. He presses one more kiss to her hairline and then they both drift off.
Ich bin so stolz auf dich, Schatzie: I am so proud of you darling Wofür?: For what? Ich liebe dich (für immer): I love you (always/forever) Danke: thank you Meine Liebe: my love Natürlich: of course

football managers when theyre mad
requested by my lovely pal @darththrog !! thanks sm for the request bro <3
klopp: ok he often looks really angry on the pitch when hes yelling at a ref but aside from that?? really never. hes nothing but kind and understanding. if one of his players does something he disapproves of, hes definitely disappointed, but never angry. he'd only get angry if one of his players well being was at risk n if thats the case,,, run. that tall ass angry german is the scariest mf on the planet.
terzic: FUCKIN PUSHOVER. yknow when you grow up with strict parents, n you go to your friends house n see the shit they get away with n youre like :O yeah thats how every other team feels abt bvb. if push RLLY comes to shove tho, he can put his foot down n reprimand the shit outta his players.
pep: his players antics piss him off all the time. so much, in fact, he doesnt even have the energy to get TRULY angry anymore. when one of his players gets on his nerves, he jus sighs, wishes he was never born, n assigns said player an unhealthy amount of laps.
ancelotti: man makes a lotta threats but hes true to his word. your day off? cancelled. playing time? nonexistent. whoever pisses him off is gonna get real comfy in their new home on the BENCH.
lampard: man lampard doesnt know WHATS going on. one a his players is acting up?? pulling some shit?? well damn this is the first hes heard of it. he cant truly get angry at people he barely keeps up with.
mourinho: when,,,??? isnt he angry?? whenever hes in a GOOD mood his players get concerned n make it their mission to find out whats up. when hes angry, which is often, the smallest thing sets him off. one day paulo took his parking spot, which prompted a three hour rendition of one of his RESPECT rants.
simeone: TOUGH love man. deep, DEEP, down he cares abt his players as much as the next manager but he'd rather die than show it. so he tends to punish his players VERY harshly when they act up but its cause he genuinely wants em to learn some discipline.
jesse: very civil lad. if hes angry at a player he doesnt let it get the better of him. he'll try to sit down n have a talk abt whats wrong. honestly, he loses his temper more often with the press than with his players.

or maybe it just shows that reyna has an attitude issue 🤷‍♂️
yeah okay, then why didn’t Terzic say anything about that when he was publicly very pissed at him for requesting a loan? that kind of information would have helped him prove his point significantly, i find it very hard to believe that a man whose job was on the line wouldn’t bring that kind of knowledge up when sending one of the team’s best young talents out on loan, no?
and, at forest, Nuno knows Dortmund want Gio to play, and he isn’t. he knows they may very well terminate the loan if he doesn’t play. why wouldn’t he say anything if he had an attitude problem?
i get that some teams handle things internally, but there’s been a lot of coverage surrounding Gio not playing and if there was any evidence of him having attitude problems, it would have come out- because in football, nearly EVERYTHING leaks.
but yeah, go ahead and make a blanket claim based off an event from two years ago when he was a teenager, with zero evidence because it’s easier than saying that maybe, just maybe, nottingham forest is a shithole of a club and terzic is stubborn, even more so when his job’s on the line.

Qualified for the quarterfinals ✅
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Far from being a perfect game but until the incomprehensible change of Nmecha for Brandt was a game controlled by Dortmund, the coach decided to bring out his most creative player to give minutes to one who only played 17 minutes in 4 months... Sometimes I would like to understand what criteria Terzic has for the changes that seem to harm more than finding tactical solutions and ends up suffering a lot at the end with a PSV that was not what was expected in the preview, the only successful or forced change of Sancho by the endless Reus that finds himself with that ball at the end of the match.
Tumblr media
As for the 58 minutes played by Jule he was the best in a long time pressing constantly, showing himself as a passing option inside the box and opening the paths to his wingers, and helping his teammates in duels, I would also have liked to see him convert when he had his first chance in the minute of the match.

MATCH DAY 5
Tumblr media
BVB were able to find the back of the net against a stubborn Wolfsburg. Legend and hometown hero Marco Rues earns BVB 3 point to continue their unbeaten streak.
My thoughts:
After the first 10 minutes I was convinced we were going to give Wolfsburg a thrashing, but as the game progressed that proved to be much more difficult. They defended with so much determination, and always seemed to be organized at any given moment. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens was stellar on his first start if the season. Although the win wasn’t as comfortable as I would like; 3 points are still 3 points. There was a lot of good link-up plays throughout the game, and creative passes that really bolstered our attack. With that being said, there were moments of sloppiness and panic that could have easily been avoided. As the season progresses I hope Terzic and the boys can straighten out these kinks. All in all I was very satisfied with how the team played, and happy with the win. Lets keep this momentum going! Let’s go BVB! 🖤💛🐝

Family training - Nico Schlotterbeck
Tumblr media
Pairing: Nico Schlotterbeck x female reader
Warnings: fluff, little bit cheesy, little bit of disappointed Nico, slight frustration if you squint, reader plays volleyball, bit of teasing
Word count: 1401
Note: As always, English is not my first language. Nico also deserves more appreciation than he gets. This is completely fictional and please pretend that Keven is allowed to be at a BVB training. And like I said in the warnings, reader plays volleyball. I don 't know any of the players or their families personally. Please do not copy or publish my work, reblogging is fine. Let me know if I missed anything.
A few weeks ago Terzic announced to the team that they’d like to give them the chance to play against their family/spouse. So in order to do that, a training day would turn into a family day. The families would get to see everything that goes on during training and after regular training, there would be a few short matches, players vs family. Every player loved the idea and immediately went to check who of their families would be able to make it. One of the most excited boys was Nico. He’d been looking for an opportunity to play against his girlfriend for a while. She’s a recreational volleyball player, something completely different compared to football.
So the second he got home, he told her about it and asked her if she would be able to be there. Unfortunately for them, she has an important meeting that day, which she absolutely can’t miss. Nico’s mood immediately changed from excited to disappointed. He told her it was okay and that there might be another time. The disappointment in his eyes broke her heart. She still suggested he ask his brother and his parents, knowing they’d be more than happy to be there and that it might make him feel a bit better. Unfortunately it did nothing for his mood, but he did ask them to be there.
So now the day has arrived and to be honest, Nico isn’t excited at all. His brother and his parents would be there, but for him it isn’t enough. She knows how disappointed he is. He’s been moping since he learned that she couldn’t be there, asking for cuddles more than he usually does. What he doesn’t know is that she managed to change the date of the meeting. So now she has the chance to surprise him at the training ground. When they get ready in the morning, she dresses up like she usually does for work, to still give the illusion of the meeting, whilst Nico doesn’t even want to get out of bed. Eventually he gets up and is ready within 20 minutes. He presses a few kisses to her lips before leaving, wishing her luck for the meeting, whilst she wishes for him to have a good time with his brother and parents.
After he leaves the house, she changes her clothes to a Dortmund training kit. She of course had to find a way to sneak into the facility and to be able to participate, so she contacted Karim the second she found out that the date for the meeting was changed. He managed to slip her the training kit and he would be the one to wait for her at the gate, minutes before the training would start. Once ready, she got into her car and drove to the facility. She arrived 5 minutes before training would start, Karim already waiting by the door for her.
“Thank you so much Karim. This means more than you know.”
“Oh I know. He’s been moping and complaining in the dressing room for weeks. I could barely get a word out of him today. So I’m more than happy to help out.”
Together they walk towards the field. She stays behind him a little and slips towards the families when they get to the field. It all went unnoticed for Nico, who was focussed on the ball at his feet rather than his surroundings. She sneaks up to Keven and her parents-in-law. Her mother-in-law notices her first, her face lighting up the second she sees her.
“Oh, you did manage to make it! Nico will be so happy to see you.”
She’s pulled into a hug by her mother-in-law, soon followed by the two men. She smiles brightly at them and tells them how she managed to be there and how she thought it would be a good idea to surprise Nico instead of telling him. They’re all surprised that Nico didn’t notice anything and still hasn’t seen her now.
“You and I will crush them during the practice matches right?” Keven asks her excitedly.
“Of course, with you on the defense and with me as a goalie, not a single goal will be scored.”
Soon enough regular training ends and the players walk to their families to see who would like to compete against them. Nico still walks with his head down and only really looks up when he’s close to the crowd of people. The second he does though, he immediately sprints the last few meters to wrap his arms around his girlfriend's waist, lifting her off the ground to spin her around in excitement. She giggles as he buries his face into the crook of her neck, squeezing her as close to him as he can.
“You’re here, how are you here? You had the meeting. What happened at the meeting? Did something go wrong?”
“Calm down Niecs, I’m not going anywhere. I managed to change the date of the meeting to be here. I just wanted to surprise you and seeing your reaction now, it definitely worked. You can thank Karim for helping me with everything though.”
Nico turns to Karim, sending him a bright smile in thanks to which Karim only shakes his head in exasperation. Nico turns back to her, pressing a kiss on her lips before pulling her next to him with his arm around her waist. He asks Keven if he’ll still play against him, to which Keven agrees. Then he turns back to her and he doesn’t even have to ask her, as she gives him a challenging look. Terzic calls the teams in for a meeting, talking about fair play and for the pro’s not to go too hard on their family members. Then they split into team circles. She does get the position of goalie, since she’s used to playing with her hands as a volleyball player. They also bombard her as team captain, seeing the competitiveness in her eyes.
She goes to shake hands with Marco and they choose who gets to kick off the game. Nico eyes her from his half of the field, as she stands there with Marco. He’s clearly trying to size up how much effort she’s going to put into this game. But since she’s captain, she’ll definitely give her all. When she catches his eyes, she sends him a cheeky wink before running back to her teammates. Everyone gets into position and the game starts. And it’s a hard game from the start. The family side is playing like there is a championship to be won. Keven defended like his life depended on it and he made some great tackles to keep the pro’s from getting close to the goal. But when they did get to the goal, they couldn’t get the ball in. Nico watched in a state of awe as his girlfriend threw herself from side to side to save the ball time and time again.
He was so in awe that he almost forgot to defend. And because of that, the family side scored the first goal. And it ended up being the only goal of the game. The second the game is over, Nico runs across the field. Where his intentions were to pick her up and question her on how she defended her goal like that, he couldn’t even get past his own teammates and their family members who were complimenting her. Eventually he gets fed up with not being able to get to her.
“Can you all just move?! She’s my girl, let me hug her.”
A few turn around to look at him with surprise across their faces. They’re not used to Nico’s blunt and fed up side. But she hears him too and immediately bursts out laughing. She’s the one to eventually push through the others to get to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. His arms wrap around her shoulders and he presses a lingering kiss to her forehead. If her cheeks weren’t already red from the exercise, they would be now.
“Thank you for being here, Liebe. You did so well and I’m so proud of you. I love you.”
“No, thank you Niecs. Everything was all worth it. You did great too, just don’t let me wow you too much. The goal was definitely your fault. I love you for it though.”
Liebe: love
