quick doodles of keira jak 2 redesign before going to sleep. a little more depressed, a little bit more of walls raised around her. a little bit more in a toxic relationship w errol (as in. he threatens to just kick her out to the streets if she messes up. sidenote hes fuckin 25 haha ) instead of that sorry excuse of a love triangle. she gets into a fight w jak because he sides w krew but then its all right bc she actively helps him build guns upgrades or smth. and also goes through a small arc where she starts to truly appreciate haven bc of tess and torn and also jak bringing her to see the pretty parts of town. to which i mean haven forest mostly. idk romantic flights together featuring his furry best friend and also 27 guards chasing after you teehe

I didn't get to hang out in the Discord with everyone as much as I would have liked, but I am so honored to have gotten to work with all of these wonderfully talented people! Mundane JnD headcanons:

Jak loves to draw and he’s really good at it. He’ll draw anything from animals, to people, to buildings.

Torn loves fixing up old zoomers, as a kid he would hang out at the stadium and watch the mechanics work.

As a kid, Ashelin would pretend she was a great hero like Mar. She would fight imaginary metalheads and save the city by ending the war. It’s part of the reason she joined the Krimzon Guard.

Keira has awful handwriting. It’s completely illegible to anyone but her. She can draw schematics easily but words? Just looks like scribbles.

Tess grew up down the street from Torn and she always saw him as the cool older kid. She always wanted to be like him so she learned to fight so she could hang out with all the rough and tough older kids. Torn admired her spunk.

Sig loves sunsets, especially ones in the desert. He watches them whenever he can. Occasionally if there’s a particularly beautiful sunset he sheds a tear, not that he’d ever admit it.

Daxter, for all his complaining, doesn’t actually want to go back to Sandover. In Haven he has friends, his own bar, a girlfriend, everything he could hope for. But in Sandover all he had was Jak and Keira. Sure he misses the peacefulness of it all but at the end of the day his life improved in the future.

Once Tess was there to see Daxter receive his pants from the Elder Ottsel, there was no way she wasn’t going to get his blessing for being Tess’ girlfriend. He thought about making her into an Ottsel too, but knowing Daxter’s sensibilities ahead of time, and a quick look into Tess’ own mind, he got an idea that would help everyone. He pointed his wand, and with the power of creation, a healthy new breed of precursor grew to full term inside of Tess’ womb in a matter of seconds. Understandably, everyone was shocked, though Tess was assured that she’d be alright, and that she’d be remembered throughout history going forward. Tess only gave a disapproving pout in response.

“Ya coulda asked first, jerk face!” She huffed, only to see how Daxter was already clearly enjoying her new look. Tess did want kids eventually, and sex with an Ottsel was…..yeah. This might have been the most operative way to get what she wanted out of her sweet Ottsel.

After the Precursors left, Tess got up and waddled her way out of Spargus and after an examination from Ashelin’s people, she was let back into Haven with a litter of half ottsels stirring about in her now massive and swollen baby bump. Heading back to her range was full of awkward smiles and brief explanations to those who knew her. Once she got back, the button on her strained shorts finally caved, and popped from her belly dropping down. Tess looked down in shock, and realized that she had no idea how long this pregnancy was going to actually last.

“Hoooo…maybe I should stay at Keira’s tonight…just in case..” Tess muttered, stroking a shaking hand over her taut tummy. Just as she was about to turn and get a spare set of pants, there was the sound of a door sliding open, and a long drawn out whistle. Tess smirked and slowly turned, shifting her weight. She didn’t look amused.

“Get it out now, Daxter. You’re going to be fetching me whatever I’m craving until they come out.” She gave her gut a hardy smack, making it jiggle slightly, only to then groan hungrily.

Daxter simply fell forward onto his face, too flustered to even stand.
