fun history fact: because the Knightly Orders were all monastic, all members were required to take several vows that were common for monks, including a vow of poverty. the uh. the Knights Templar found this rule particularly difficult to follow as they became collectively filthy fucking rich from their side hustle as the Catholic world's bankers. hence why Gabriel gets much nicer clothing than Gilbert (whose clothes are still quite nice).

If i am not mistaken, prussia is always avoided any marriage. Do you think who is take his v card 👀 or he is still a virgin?

I have seen a post some time ago where someone said, at least as far as irl history goes, Prussia "married" another German Preunitary State at some point, but I forgot which one.

Either way, I think he's likely to still be a virgin (not sure how canon we should consider songs to be, but in Overflowing Passion he mentions 'solitary passion' as opposed to France's line about love lol) or, at least, to not engage in such acts as often as some other Nations.

... Hehe, it'd be cool if Austria is the one who took his V-Card back during the War of Austrian Succession. Whether it was him, or someone else (France and Spain///), if he's not a virgin, I think he started getting sexually active around there, in the 18th Century. Before then, he still had too much guilt from his times as a religious order to consider it. He occasionally felt sexual attraction, but tried to ignore it as much as he could because it made him feel sinful and disgusting, so he channeled that frustration into other activities such as hunting, war, playing flute and partying.

Another reason that made him feel reluctant to 'indulge in sin' for a long time is the death of Knights Templar. As he had strong feelings for him, for a long time after his death he felt like getting interested in someone else whether romantically or sexually, came with disrespect to his first love, and twice as much due to the fact that they were religious orders. I think something similar went on with Italy in regards to HRE, but that's for another time.

Tbh I personally think he's not a virgin but I also like the scenario where he is and all of the implications it has.

Spoiler Alert: Knight's Templar is really dead and in my canon in the modern day he just haunts Prussia and tries to lure him to death, I'll talk about that later.

oh, and a third, completely different speed: I'm imaging what Gilbert would have to deal with re: albinism and I imagine going on crusade would really just fucking suck. the Levant has like 8 months of summer and the sun shines with a vengeance and Gilbert's eyes are super sensitive to brightness and he can't tan. no wonder he thinks he's so righteous, he's gotta be suffering constantly.

also, over in the Templars' rule code, there's one part that says that while no one is entitled a shirt, the Order would do its best to make sure everyone has proper clothing in the Holy Land, and I feel Gabriel wrote this with Gilbert in mind. presumably they get Gilbert a parasol as a gift at some point because you know they absolutely have the money for it.
