Republicans from the US  want to force women to give birth to children who will then be shot while going to school.
A woman is supposed to sacrifice her health and 9 months of her life to carry to term but a Republican can't be inconvenienced by any sort of gun control.
They 100% care about fetuses more than about actual children. In their opinion an aborted fetus that doesn't feel anything and doesn't even know what existence means is more important than a child dying terrified at school.

Its weird to me as an American student that school shootings aren’t common at all outside the US. Ever since kindergarten I’ve always known the quickest way to evacuate the school from every classroom, where the best hiding places are if you’re in the hallway and cant get in a classroom, what to do if you’re in the bathroom, the best angle to sit at in a room so that you cant be seen from the door or the windows, how to get down as fast as possible if someone were to start shooting in the window, what to do if you’re in the cafeteria, how to listen for footsteps outside of the classroom, and how to be still as possible in case you have to play dead next to your dead classmate in their blood. Ive been in a real lockdown before in kindergarten. We go through it every year. Its engraved in my memory. I have to be ready to see a friendly face with a gun pointed at the teacher. Because most school shooters were born inside the schools walls. And all of that because of some old men with too much power.

Another elementary school shooting in the U.S.
Heartbreaking.

When will our nation join the rest of the developed world in behaving like a civilized country regarding gun regulation?
Gun use had been regulated since the founding of our nation. Unfortunately, that all changed with the conservative Supreme Court’s decision to overturn 200 + years of precedent in the 2008 District of Columbia v. Heller decision that reinterpreted the Second Amendment to mean that there is an individual right to bear arms.
The current Supreme Court is poised to continue to gut gun control laws.
The rest of the world is looking on and shaking its collective head in horror.
