недавно было у меня несколько интересных разговоров о том, как случается переход из иллюстративного к абстрактному, это интересная тема и я бы хотела описать мой опыт. попытки такого перехода я предпринимала довольно давно, но так как по натуре я довольно нерешительна и очень много сил трачу на сомнения, то довольно долго они откатывались обратно, в привычную и понятную сторону. в общем, как я потом писала почти в каждом эссе о том, кто я и что, свою первую по- настоящему творческую работу я сделала в технике текстильной скульптуры. история этой работы такова: задача - выставка на один день, концептуальная работа, которая вписывается в коробку определенного размера. мне сложно описывать ход своих мыслей, но тогда я ощутила что-то вроде катарсиса, настоящий перелом. я была свободна в выборе материала, в теме, вообще  абсолютно. вот передо мной коробка, в которую я должна поместить саму себя. и главное было решить - что для меня важно.

мне нужно было погрузиться глубоко в себя и понять, что я хочу сказать. правильно поставленый вопрос, как известно, половина ответа. в тот момент я была погружена в тему феминизма, телесности, всяких гендерных вопросов, всё это было связано с моей дочерью, нашим общением и обсуждением всех этих тем.  и я сделала работу о тесноте, стереотипах, рамках, предопределенности для еще не родившейся девочки. так и назвали дитя "Будет девочка". тогда я почувствовала суть , ту степень свободы от материала, которую дает концептуальный подход к искусству.
