TL;DR me bitching about Transformers ONE's design of Soundwave early in the morning because I've been thinking about this since last night and I'm mad

Starscream and Shockwave look amazing, I like that they keep giving Shockwave more meat... Metal..? It fits him, I hope he keeps his Tank form like in TFP. And Starscream being Mr cuntress as always

And then there's Soundwave. Why is his gooch so high (I know the other's have high gooch's too but his is way more noticible)

Anyways, I swear I've seen like 50 versions of of this exact same toy design of Soundwave and it's still as ugly and cheap as the last time and I'm so tired of it. I think the designers just don't know what to do with Soundwave's design anymore. Doesn't help that no one uses cassette players anymore, and younger kids might not even know what they are.

To be honest, I don't even like the design direction they went with for the characters but fucking whatever. I'm just sad I'm gonna have to continue my drought of not buying any Soundwave figures because THEY DON'T LOOK THAT GOOD. I already bought most of the ones I like (I still plan on buying the FlameToys kit of him but I'm iffy, since I bought the Thundercracker one and he's so fucking lose and falls apart when I touch him), hell I literally bought a Kinder Eggs toy of Soundwave TFP and spent ~$50 on gacha bags just for him because I'm that big of a fan.

Anyways, I look forward to TF ONE, I was ready to hate when it was first announced but it's nice that they're going a different direction and ACTUALLY USING QUINTESSONS (IDGAF ABOUT BAYFORMERS) And we're finally getting a movie without humans!!! I don't like Megatrons and OPs design but you know!! Who cares!! I'm happy. Ish

Banging my fists on the floor and begging Square Enix to stop being stingy with the figurine licensing for Final Fantasy 7. Square, the figurines you make don't even look that good in your promotional prototype pictures, and the actual products are consistently so much worse that you have a joke reputation for selling bootlegs of your own products

Give a license out to Good Smile or Kotobukiya or someone else who can do them justice! I just know they'd be able to give me a nice Cloud or hot Sephiroth scale fig, none of the ugly shit you guys are making!!!!
