But I swear that the moment I saw that you updated TBA, I jumped around like a Disney's sitcom Teen Girl, stopped everything I was doing and feasting over your great writing! Now, let me ramble a little bit over this new, great work of yours!

Let's start with Ronald and his new pet friend: what are they called again? Windcallers? I searched everywhere for information about these creatures, but I couldn't find anything. Did you invented it? If so, I really can't wait to hear about them! Poor thing, hurt and alone in a incredibly dangerous world, I'm so glad they met Ronald "I-see-an-orphan-and-I-need-to-act-like-a-father-figure-to-them-or-I-will-die" Weasley, they will be fine as long as Ronald don't do anything stupid.

I'll say that I love what you did here, not only you showed Ronald's strategic thinking, but even his tactical acumen, something that is not always sure! The way he started to spread the rumor to put pressure on Quirrelmort, his constant meeting with the other professors just in case something happens to him, framing his enemy without moving a finger, and that final powermove (that was, arguibly, the most stupid and genious move of his) showing his most shit-eating face right in front of the biggest threat to the magical world right now (with his "I'm just a little guy!! You can't be mad at me, I'm just a little wittle boyyy!!!" act and the speech againts It, no wonder Death took a liking for the boy: they both are insanely theatrical!) and not only succeding, but also having a backup plan in case something went wrong with McGonagall!

(...because... because it was planned for her to catch Quirrelmort attaching Ron........ right? You didn't make him confront him right on without thinking.... right????)

This leads me to compliment to you about the new addictiom to the Ron squad! Welcome aboard Gingersnap and Noddy! I hope this will lead to a more in depth discussion about house elves and how Ronald will become more... radical, let's say, about their general situation...

But alas, even after all this preparation, after the danger and risk, thabks to my beloved FIXED POINT IN TIME trope things are going to get really ugly, and really soon. I guess destroying your enemy's plan with a move that is similar to throwing a sledge hammer in a glass house it's not the wisest action if you don't expect them to counter attack.

On an unrelated note I'm so, so,so glad you show the teachers to be actually competent and caring towards the kids! While reading the original books, I always felt like a... disconnection between the students and the teaching staff. By adding the elective and club's teachers too it gives more deapth and a more motivated group of adults that shows how much they want to protect their students, even if they are the first to run towards the danger in the first place. (Also-also, I really, really hope you will give to history of magic the credit it deserve. We History nerds need confirmation that our htperfixations are justified!"

That said, is now Ron and Harry going to speedrun the obstacle race? Will Hermione and Neville join him too? I mean Ron would need an hand, but it will be more people to protect during the chess game, and will the checkpoints be the same too? So many question and too much hype!!!

Yeah you won't find any birds called windcallers in the HP world. But remember what Noddy said, that windcallers is what they (the House Elves) call the bird. Wizards have another name for them, and they do exist in HP canon. I dropped a number of references and hints starting Year0 Chapter3-ish about that. Hope that helps.

And yeah, it's a good thing Ron found him when he did. Poor fluffball might have ended up dead, or worse.

That's something I wished the books touched on more often, Ron with his tactical and strategic skillset. He is the pragmatic, practical balance to Hermione's ideal, theoretical mind.

Of course, part of being a good strategist is having backup plans in case shit hits the fan, and having confidence that one can handle it when it does happen. Two skills Ron still needs to develop.

Well it was a plan, not necessarily the safest one. But yeah, high risk for high returns, Ron figured.

Maybe it was written for kids, but during the first several years, I can relate to the impression thay the Hogwarts staff don't seem to care much for the students, witj two major exemptions (Dumbledore and McGonagall). It is only starting year 5 that you start to see the teachers and the other adults in a more sympathetic, humanizing light.

The lecturers, I think, seem more approachable because they appear more relaxed and at Ron's level from his perspective. Not to mention I aim to give them as much personality as I can.

Speaking of lecturers, I subtly introduced another one who will feature more in book 2. Hope he'll be well received. He's pretty fun to write. 😉

oh absolutely pairing-wise it will always be sebmark for me… i think i am just entirely struck by the different phases of their relationship? 2009 is an entirely different vibe to 2013 who is an entirely different vibe to 2017 and that makes fic writing them sooo fun for me its never a chore to write sebmark. beyond this teammate rivalries are just absolutely compelling to me i think the dynamics and intricacies are so so interesting, especially gaining more insight on that from marks book was just eeeee i loved it (fuck u helmut marko for everything you ever do). personality wise too they both suit each other well in terms of rpf and they dynamics that i’ve always written and like writing.

character wise i love writing seb. i rlly hope i do him justice because i just love his voice and his humour and his mannerisms. he’s my love ever and i love him so any pairings with him in i am always heart eyes over.

4 - What detail in [insert fic] are you really proud of?

i’m gonna take this as any fic i’ve written so! i think anything in good men die too verse i am hugely proud of. i did a bit of research for crush about street racing (a lack of in thoroughfare which i often get annoyed about but oh well) and so i think i got the car types right. either way it sounds professional so shrug!

an unreleased fic i have a bit of detail on is my siren!seb fic, its entirely unfinished but i did some research about mythology surrounding mermaids and sirens and think it’s pretty good in that!!!

ehehehe. its a another fucking sebmark au! heir to father’s business seb nearly gets assassinated and his driver mark (annoying, gets in the way, keeps making fun of him) saves his life and thus is made his bodyguard in order to protect him. he hates mark already but this really pisses seb off, a constant shadow. also it’s called bad for business yes like the sabrina carpenter song

it’s going to be my first multi chapter and i’m anxious as balls about it and i really kind of hate the tone at the minute so it needs reworking. first chap is basically done but want three written before i post anything just for my own sanity. but here’s a little snippet of them winding each other up

Why has Britta put the medicine on the top shelf, for fuck’s sake, she knows he’s not that tall. He gets on his tiptoes, but the box is pushed further back by the tips of his fingers, rather than grabbing it.

And then, the lean body of Sebastian’s driver against the back of him, reaching up to the shelf with zero effort. His fingers dash against Sebastian’s, and it’s a much more successful retrieval, bringing down the box of pills to his height.

Sebastian turns, putting his back to the countertop, the bare skin under his hoodie just brushing the cool marble. He’s close enough that he can smell Webber’s cologne - sharp. Masculine. Like the rest of him, ever predictable.

Webber takes a short step back, probably assessing how abnormally close they were. He puts the box into Sebastian’s open palm. The pills shake inside upon impact. He’s pleased, but through gritted teeth, like a dog finally being allowed a treat.

“Thank you.”

Alright this is a bit long. So the main change in the world is that magic exists but is very very rare. By that i mean that the average person doesnt know it exists. There are 3 types of magic. Normal where you are born slightly magical. Holy where you learn holy magic which are mostly support and strengthening spells. And demonic which is purely offensive. The key difference in the accident is that mari and snuuys parents are cult leaders and have books of very powerfull demonic spells. The father also wants to make Mari into a cult member at a young age so mari on top of the recitel and school is also preasured to try and learn demonic magic. The mom and dad of hero and kel on the other hand have holy magic, and hero is very talented at it so far, while kel can use it very badly, so the parents still favor hero. Basil is a natural magician and can slightly control plant life, while aubrey is just normal(at the beginning).

So the fight happens and snuuy dies. Basil watches this all happen and is stunned unable to speak. Mari not wanting her little brother to die scours the demonic book and finds one for resurrection. It needed the blood of the murderer so she starts cutting herslef and pouring it on the body,. Basil seeing this, thinks mari is trying to oyasumi so he jumps in, but the spell activates.

So the way the spell works is that it tirns the dead body of the person into a demon body which is mostly immortal, bringing said person to life. But because Bagel jumped in he got hit with the spell and now both Sunny and Basil are half demons. They also fall into a coma for their bodies and souls to sync considering this isnt supposed to happen. Hero hearing banging next door goes to the house and sees Mari bleeding over the bodies of basil and sunny and calls a ambulance. They get put into a hospital and remain in said coma for 3 years(would have made it 4 but then basil wouldnt be able to spend time with his grandma after waking up :(.) In those 3 years Mari's Dad is enraged at what she has done abandoning the family and summoning a demon of trauma that latches onto Mari slowly becoming more powerful .She in turn self isolates only leaving to visit Sunny and Basil. Hero spends most of his time studying divine magic and trying to get Mari out of the house, and in turn accidentally becomes negligent of Kel who is in dostraught over his 2 best friends being in a coma. Aubrey also feels very betrayed by both Hero and Mari for abandoning them after The Accident. In this au Kel and Aubrey find comfort in each other and in the course of 3 years become the leaders of the hooligang and a secret couple that only Kim and Vance know about. Meanwhile Sunny and Basil are trapped in a headspace similar to the original, the only diff being that they have to find Mari and the gang are on the picnic blanket. They also meet, versions, of themself. One of them is Omori , and the other Stranger. While in headspace Stranger looks like HS Basil , and like Stranger when in blackspace. Omori looks normal in HS but looks like the very corrupted omori from the boss battle in black space. The reason why they are trapped here is becausee they dont remember what happened in the incident. Its suppressed. And when they finally do find out they wake up to... yelling? While bagel and snuuy were eeping Aubrey and Kel finally confronted Hero and Mari when they went to visit the coma bois. It just so happens that thats when they wake up. So now Basil and Sunny have to hide their demonic powers from the group(considering most of them are very christian) while trying to reconcile them, and also figure out the feelings that they are feeling for each other. oh they might also have to fight a giant shadow spider demon monstrosity.

Alright! It's time for the long awaited Ruka/Vita theory!

If you want something a little more in depth then there's an extremely amazing and well-made theory HERE by Lordarash1, who actually also did some rune translations! Their theory helped me understand a few things, so thanks :) There's also another extremely lovely theory I will be referencing by the user Pisolero2314 on YouTube, you frequently comments their theories on the Color Series songs!

Without further ado, let's get on with it.

Warnings for: mentions of death

Ruka's name, ���香, has a meaning. 月 means moon, and 香 means fragrance or pleasant smell or scent. (thank you wooma discord for this one you're very cool)

The meaning behind Ruka's name is really reflected in her design. Her dress has a lot of symbolism, such as the phases of the moon along the bottom of her dress, and a pulse along her sleeve that represent her desire to die (Lordarashi1)

Ruka's hands are Christian hand signs for [left] "I am speaking" and [right] "be silent and listen" (Pistolero2314)

Her demon is bat-like, with only one eye in motion and the other blacked out. Pistolero2314 mentioned that this could mean Ruka has a prosthetic eye, which would explain why ink only comes out of one of her eyes.

Bats can represent rebirth, but they can also see in the dark (echolocation, really, but we're theorizing here ok) Ruka seems to be surrounded by darkness, yet still makes it through to a degree. This is the more likely reason for a bat being her demon. (Pistero2314)

In the lyrics if the song, a repeating line is "Dear my Diablo" Diablo means Demon in Spanish.

Another line is "with an extreme, reem, reeem diminuendo" A diminuendo is "A directive to a performer to smoothly decrease the volume of the specific passage of a composition." Otherwise known as a decresendo (I was in music like half my life trust me ok) This likely represents her desire to fade away and die.

"I don't want to be possessed by a demon." Despite this line, she seems to be conversing with a demon. At one point, the screen even flashes red. Perhaps Sinfan is involved?

"Steps to a hidden life, a dry and parched anima." Anima, according to Google Dictionary, means "The soul, especially the irrational part of the soul as distinguished from the rational mind."

"Recognizing myself as wrong is a sign that the devil has controlled me."

"I can't stop even with my silly melecholy." According to Google Dictionary, melancholy means "a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause." Ruka seems to find her sadness is worth nothing, and seems to be berating herself for feeling it.

"I'm just living so deceptively, so, please..." Perhaps Ruka falsley presents herself as a happy person?

"I'm just so sick of everything! I want someone to replace me, and after that, I don't know, so please-!" She wants to be replaced, yet she doesn't want to die, proven by the line "Find the time to die, find it. But I don't want to be dead." and doesn't want to be possessed by a demon.

Lets move onto the runes.

There are three sets of runes that appear, along with Roman numerals. While I won't be going into the Roman numerals, the person who translate the runes has.

The runes translate to "God didn’t save me |Until this curse breakers | Never wake up"

The runes in front translate to "Darkness is warping powerand "

And the ones in the back translate to "Atone for people’s sins"

The runes were translate by Lordarash1. They did an amazing job on it!

While I personally am not all too sure what the runes mean, I can make a vague guess to maybe Ruka takes responsibility for the others sins?

I'm not sure how Vita and the other songs are related, and when I do more research, I'll be sure to expand on this theory more.

How Captain Spaceboy and Sweetheart relate to Sunny's relationship with Mari (theory)

(No, no incest implications, I know the title sounds wrong but no) (Heavy spoilers ahead, read at your own risk)

Ok let me make clear, first of all, that this whole walltext is all made of my own interpretations and I consider none of them to be fact.

I think most players have already noticed references or foreshadowing during moments with captain spaceboy and/or sweetheart (the most commented being the name of spaceboy battle themes). But as I watched more Omori streams, I started to notice small similarities between Captain spaceboy's actions in Headspace and Sunny's actions in real life, specially when it was in regard to Mari. At first I thought it was just me overthinking stuff but by now my brain has cooked it enough for me to want to spill it out. So guess I'll try.

Let's start with the similarities in chronological order:

• Spaceboy dealt with his heartbreak the same way Sunny dealt with Mari's death: he locked himself away from the outside word and refused to even leave his bed;

• The connection between Spaceboy and Sweetheart was the mixtape with their favorite songs. In the same way, the connection between Sunny and Mari was the final duet, the song they practiced over and over together and was never forgotten by Sunny;

• Spaceboy had a second side to him connected to his bottled up emotions (who we fought in the game), just like Sunny developed a second persona (Omori) to hide from the truth;

• After the gang beats him, Spaceboy leaves in order to try healing together with his friends. Sunny left his home for the first time thanks to Kel (if True Route was chosen);

And now Spaceboy's moment ends for a while. Next, we are introduced to the character os Sweetheart:

• Of course, Sweetheart herself is not a variant for Mari, after all she has her own dreamworld variant. But Sweetheart shares Mari's innate flaw: she is a perfectionist. No one else in Headspace shares that trait, not even dream!Mari herself;

• And just like Mari, that flaw is what causes her demise inside of Humphrey, but it seems Sunny's mind inserts a layer of irony in that: even after seeing a perfect copy of herself in front of her, Sweetheart still refused to acknowledge that her search for her perfect suitor was something so idealized she would never reach it. Looking at Mari, her perfectionism pushed Sunny to the point he exploded due to the pressure. He knew he would never be able to reach the level of skill she wanted;

Next time we see one of the two is in Hikkikomori route, as we fight Spaceboy in the mountains:

• One more time, we can notice how Spaceboy's and Sunny's thought processes are similar. After being dumped for the second time, Spaceboy is forced to confront the fact that he will never be good enough for sweetheart. But he cannot accept it, and prefers to end himself, frozen in the mountains. As for Sunny, he cannot accept the fact that he killed Mari and in Hikki Route prefers to hide behind Omori, who eventually chooses to die or go to the city as the dominant personality (and as we know, stabbing Sunny is an option in real life only when Omori is the dominant one).

If we go along with this parallel, a few things gain a new meaning:

• Remember Spaceboy battle themes, "You're wrong, go back" and "You cannot go back"? Looking at them with this walltext in mind, they could reference Spaceboy and Sunny's denial. "That event is wrong, it never happened, go back to when everything was alright" and "it's impossible to go back, it's better to just die";

• Spaceboy's and Sunny's respective ends are opposite depending on the route. If you choose Hikki Route, Spaceboy is saved from his death wish and reunites once again with his friends, while Sunny will most probably suicide. If you choose True Route, Sunny will be able to forgive himself and move on while Spaceboy would eventually meet his demise since the gang never goes to the mountains;

• When we first meet Spaceboy, he had already been dumped by sweetheart once. In the same way, we know from Basil's photo album that Sunny had already given up on playing the violin once as well before the game events. We do not know the reason for that, but considering the gang had to save money to buy a second violin for him, we can be sure that whatever was the reason, it was enough for the first violin to be disposed of. Could Mari have been part of the reason as well?

• After the fight against Sweetheart, Spaceboy invades the scene and proposes to her out of the blue, even though he said he was going to be together with his crew. And it is never shown what caused him to change his mind. Looking at real life, it was never explained what caused Sunny to drop the violin the first time but we do know he took it again anyway because he wanted to spend time with Mari;

Ok, I'm done with my theory. I've seen a lot of people (mainly in reddit and youtube) dismiss spaceboy and sweetheart as an extra excuse for dungeons and don't relate to Sunny's view of his real life in any way. That was my way of saying no, they are as important as all the other foreshadows and references. And I also wrote this because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE reading people's theory walltexts of games I love so I wanted to write one as well. I know there are weak points in this theory (because ofc, it's just a fan theory), but many thabks if you read it this far and kept up with my crazy ideas.

I originally decided to take my car into one of their many One Stop shops, where i would only have to pay the 250 dollar deductible and have my car completely repaired.
