I know in my SOUL that Anetra is really silly goofy once you get to know her so everyone thinks she’s super intimidating when they see her cause she’s tall and stoic and has her “bitch face” and the scar, but when it’s just her and Marcia, they’re both like… constantly laughing and messing around and being so stupid all the time like never a serious moment

When Anetra gets high (which is often as we all know) she gets SUPER affectionate and cuddly and wants to sit on Marcia’s lap (this also happens when she drinks, every time she’s drunk she just gushes to whoever she’s with about how beautiful Marcia is and how much she loves her and how she’s totally gonna marry her someday)

Anetra is obsessed with having her hair played with, she just melts every time, so Marcia always offers to do her hair for her, and once they start dating, Anetra starts showing up to everything with these gorgeous intricate braided styles just so Marcia can play with her hair for a bit longer

Marcia is actually the one who initiated their relationship! She kept trying to drop hints that she liked women (and specifically Anetra) but Anetra was positive that she wasn’t Marcia’s type so she never made a move until Marcia got fed up of waiting and kissed her during a movie night

Speaking of! They had weekly movie nights even before they were dating :) they alternate who gets to pick the movies. Marcia always pics rom coms and classics (and musicals) and Anetra cries at them every time. Anetra chooses more horror and indie films and Marcia always pretends to be more scared than she actually is so she has an excuse to get closer to Anetra (and maybe even hold her hand)

They like to come up with as many cute pet names and nicknames for each other as they can and use them all the time, almost sickeningly sweet to those who have to be around for it (Anetra’s favorites for Marcia are sunshine and princess. Marcia’s favorites for Anetra are Angel and kitten)

Boxer AU version Anetra and Marcia specific headcanon! Anetra is so protective and dominant and aggressive in her day to day life that when she gets home she kinda just wants to be babied, but luckily Marcia loooooves to take care of her in every single way she can. But also sometimes Anetra gets to take care of Marcia after she has a particularly hard day at work, and she does also genuinely love to make Marcia feel like a real life princess who has her every single whim tended to. Also Anetra does most of the cooking but Marcia bakes all the time :)

aHHHHH someone asking about my girl Casilda! 🥺 she and Odessa are the main ones I'm currently fixated on, so I'll answer BOTH~ (ironically, they both have gardening as hobbies, and that happened by sheer coincidence, but seems fitting.)

4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents? Odessa's parents were very active in her life and in raising her. She was their only child, so they maybe spoiled her a little--but just with love. They'd take annual trips to local conservatories and zoos on her birthdays and just basically let her infodump about all the plants and animals she'd been reading about. They, unfortunately and very suddenly, died in a freak ice storm when she was a teenager. (This is a plot point that links back to a handful of stories we'll be writing, so I'm trying to be vague in case anyone reading this wants to read her stories!)

What’s their favourite genre of: books, music, tv shows, films, video games, and anything else! books: horror and science-fiction, a little fantasy. she's really partial to Stardust by Neil Gaiman, might even call it her favorite (right next to the works of Mary Shelley and Shirley Jackson). music: pop (especially 70s/80s pop/rock, her mom's favorite) and guitar-heavy rock (some favs include ABBA, Marina, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush, The Offspring, and Taylor Swift). tv shows and movies: sci-fi, comedy, a little pickier with horror movies as opposed to books.

Casilda (as with Odessa, I'm going to assume anyone reading this knows something about The Sandman TV show. anybody let me know if you want a scattered/messy Casilda lore post like I did for Odessa! basically all you need to know for now is that she's originally from the 1600s, and joined the realm of the Dreaming after her death in the Waking, and she works in the palace of Dream of the Endless.)

Did they know both parents? in her Waking life, Casilda only really got to know her father; her mother died in childbirth while having her younger sister (Casilda was about 4 years old). Her family was very poor, and worked at any trade they could manage to try to get by (mostly vegetable and animal farming). Her father was kindly, and tried to give his daughters the best life he could. He fostered her love of art, even if he didn't always understand it, and often went without things for himself to buy her books and painting supplies.

18. What’s their favourite genre of: books, music, tv shows, films, video games, and anything else! Casilda is such a romantic; she can't pass up a good romantic drama of any sort. she and her sister used to sneak into productions of Shakespeare plays when they couldn't afford tickets. Once she arrives in the Dreaming and has access to essentially the whole history of books, she gets really into Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. but, given where she lives, she also regularly devours some fantasy adventure stories. George Méliès' adaptation of A Trip to the Moon impressed her so much that she still calls it one of her favorite movies. her best friend curates all the history of the Waking's music, so she's been introduced to a lot of new genres since the invention of the record player. her favorite, though, is folk music. she's fond such modern artists as Sinéad O'Connor and The Crane Wives! (her best friend is getting her and Dream into grunge rock and bubblegum pop, though, since they both missed the 80s and 90s due to Plot Things. so far, Casilda is really enjoying Britney Spears!)

I’ll leave the infodump to another day but write down a quick info regarding Twin Fantasy because there are actually two of them…

So in 2011, Will Toledo releases TF (Mirror to Mirror) during his teen years the band is mostly just him and though the album is about a relationship he had, the songs’ order isn’t chronological regarding the themes and the progress of the relationship,,

Years later CSH is more of a band and they make a deal with Matador Records and Twin Fantasy is rerecorded as TF (Face to Face). Most songs have a major improvement in terms of singing and instruments and lyrics are mostly the same,, I think the biggest chance of a song is Famous Prophets and I for one prefer the 2018 version (note; 2011 version is FP Minds & 2018 is FP Stars) oh and there’s an extra added to the end of the song Bodys in the 2018 version… I just skip it when I reach there at this point djfjfj I like the cozy vibes of Bodys 2011 a lot though (my fav song however is Sober to Death… I can talk abt it all day jfjfjfj)

The last three songs in the album hit A Lot esp when played back to back. On my experience (and some others) at first listens, they blend into the background mostly, the other songs stand out a lot more but once you hear the lyrics consciously, there is no going back they’re so good and frustrating🥲🥲

High To Death is the one that is the perfect “stare at your ceiling while lying down on the bed/floor at 3 in the- oh is it 4 already? Oh well…” song I love it a lot. It really has the vibe of feeling like you’ve started to gaze into your life as an audience to a show and not the very person living that life. It feels like you’re trapped in a bubble while you watch the world go by, unable to do anything, touch anything, have any effect on anything… I love it

hey do u wanna talk about mcc a bit? i'd love to know more about it!!!!

mcc is the minecraft championships! :D it’s a series of really cool games set in this modded minecraft world, and the one im thinking about is mcc 11, where dream, george, sapnap, and karl were teamed up!!

it’s really cool because like. they went through so many hardships in that tournament, 1) dream went afk n muted for like two games? he missed an entire game because like something happened 2) something was wrong w sapnap’s mic? 3) Karl’s internet just straight up CRASHED in the middle n he had to restart it all back up 4) George’s cat came into his room and was VERY cute so he put her in his lap and she also tried to chew on his cables

and they WON like i think my fave games were sky battle, parkour warrior, sands of time, and arrow dodgeball? sky battle is about PVP and good evasion so dream (n sapnap) dominated like 2/3 rounds like they were the last team standing it was really cool and then in parkour warrior dream completed the whole course (which technically isn’t meant to happen, it was supposed to be so difficult that ur just meant to try and complete as many levels as u can in 10 minutes and he did everything w time to spare) and the main admin got so mad(?) that he BLEW UP THE WHOLE COURSE FJDJDDJ and also they apparently have banned that game now because it’s ‘not fair for everyone else’ like god that is so fucking funny imagine ur so good at minecraft parkour that they remove the parkour game so other people stand a chance to win lolll

and also sapnap did really well in parkour!!!! he was second in the whole game, he only had like 2 levels left i think so despite all the afk n issues they had in earlier rounds they managed to clutch!! and in sands of time they did a really good job collecting money n killing mobs n getting vaults n stuff :]

so thanks to their performance in those three games they made it to the top 2 which meant they got to be in the final arrow dodgeball thing!!! and it was interesting because the goal of the game is to shoot the enemy w the bow n arrow and also dodge the arrows when it’s the enemy’s turn to shoot!! and the hierarchy was interesting to me because dream was #1 w shooting (obviously) but george was SECOND? like i didn’t know he had such a sick aim, and george was actually crucial to their win, because the enemy team was prioritizing killing dream, and they got him twice, so george clutched two games on his own, and they won 3 games in a row without the enemy winning at all n won???? (it was a best of 5)

and it’s so interesting because like they had dream who is super OP n he was also individually the first amongst all the players in that mcc (despite being afk for an entire game??? he dunked on everyone so hard) but also they had george who is severely colorblind and Karl who is ALSO colorblind and had never played an mcc before,,,,, and they still won it was insane... they struggled during this game called build mart which was very color dependent but they still went on to win the whole thing it was so cool to watch

anyway i want this team or some variation of it back and i want parkour warrior :( like goddamn make the game easier for the other players or something or idk make it harder?? tl;dr mcc is like the olympics but for minecraft but also not really it’s more creative uhhhh it’s like sports but for gamers so in conclusion im an even bigger virgin now than i was before
