So, I read Love & Beast right before I went to bed. I fell asleep not long after, but... I feel like Koga regressed a little during that story. I love him regardless, but the fact that he kept referring to Rei as "vampire bastard" the entire time. It'd be one thing if like he was constantly agitated, but a lot of the story was him concerned over how Adonis is doing. Which, I mean, that proves he hadn't completely regressed in his development since ! into !!. Like, why is he suddenly treating Rei poorly again? Once or twice, yeah ok. But the entire time? I squint my eyes. He also called Kaoru playboy again on multiple occasions.

But after reading this story & then considering the fan translation of their climax event, I squint my eyes even more. Like the climax event they comment on when being referred to by the nicknames. Rei says it takes him back while Kaoru admits he prefers it over the stiff formalities. Why they need to say that if Koga still refers to them by such? Ofc there's gonna be slipups & inconsistencies considering different writers & people working on it. But like - why'd Koga not once call Rei Sakuma-senpai or Kaoru Hakaze-senpai??? Huh? What this about? He was annoyed a good few times, but it wasn't constant.

We haven't been mutuals for very long but to be honest, from the moment i saw your blog, i fell in love. You've been recommended ( by tumblr on a lot of my other blogs ) to me for actually QUITE a long time but i didn't have the opportunity or chance to see until it really became pertinent to me, and honestly i'm only sorry that i didn't get a chance to do it sooner! You seem to be VERY honest and sincere, and i really like that if you don't like or agree with something then you just say it the way it is instead of just going along with the crowd. Its really refreshing. but also! the amount of effort you put into your muse is admirable. It's very evident and clear that you have a love and passion for the games. Got up a few hours earlier before work to write But since tumblr was down for like over half an hour, it killed a lot of my free time. I was only able to queue one reply with a few pictures. So I'll do the rest later after work.

A simple bone carved pin lay in the box, he had hoped to give her some of her favorite flowers as well, but they were out of season now so the few blooms that were left weren't the best looking.

The lady-in-waiting bowed graciously, thanking the prince for kind gift.

While the birthday woman herself? Seemed surprised to have gotten anything at all. From Aki? Why? He did not need to get her anything. He suffers enough just being married to her, why suffer more with trying to get a gift for her? Her tastes are very... um... rare, after all.

"..." Actually looking at the gift made her pause. She double, no, triple checked it over. Was this actual bone? No noble she'd ever know would touch such a thing, let alone gift it to someone. Who would do the work on this thing? And actually be able to shape it so well? With the fine details & craftsman ship... you'd think this would just be false bone.

... But it's not. It's real.
