Please for the love of god read my rules. I don't expect anyone (including myself) to remember everyone's rules, we all write with a multitude of people, but when it's blatantly obvious that you've not even glanced over my rules, it's not going to make me want to interact with you. (:

Blog policing. Seriously, if you don't like something, then don't indulge in it? It's that fucking simple. Let people write villains, let people write problematic characters that are morally grey or whatever else. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean you have the right to abuse those that do. Writing evil characters doesn't make you a bad person. Have you ever actually picked up a book and read it? This just boggles my mind... Why do you think you can do this? And sadly enough, this has legitimately pushed fantastic people and Rpers away from the hobby they once loved.

One liners. I have a really difficult time... NOT writing paras. And that's a me thing. If you write one liners and that suits you, then by all means, please continue! But it does mean we're simply not compatible. Unless it's little dash commentary shenanigans, I can't stand one liners.

PLOTS OR MEMES: Both. I think memes are a REALLY good way to break the ice, especially when if you're anything like me, a person who comes home from work and is thoroughly exhausted that my brain can't possible think of anything super heavy when it comes to plot. But in saying that, I do love getting to plot with my mutuals and chatting and building character development through this. So both are good. :)

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: 99% of the time long. Like I stated previously, it's HARD for me to write short responses, and I like having something I can work off. Also... the inner monologue gets away from me at times :'D I only like short if it's silly dash commentary or maybe just a simple ask meme or something that isn't intended to be plotted out into a thread.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: A day off X'D Honestly, I'm MUCH more energetic and a better writer when it's early morning. Once it hits noon, I'm like a potato sack.

I'm feeling awfully emo so I wanted to say something for the new year

I made this account and started posting in... june I think? With Han Solo smut. Then, I posted my second fic, my first ever Moon Knight fic, Some Nights, that I wrote on impulse bc I was listening to the fun. song and was diving headfirst into the fandom. I started posting Sunshine Starlight Sweetheart Brightside a few weeks later to amazing support.

Soon, I began watching even more oscar/pedro content, absolutly falling in love with triple frontier, writing more and more stories.

The outpooring of love for Leather and Lace is fucking mind blowing.

Fic like Fucker Notices Everything, Mirror Mirror, the Awakening series, and others getting hundreds of notes, it's amazing to think that people actually like what I write.

But, as the old meme goes, what if the real fanfction was the friendships we made along the way? When the first writer I admired followed me back (hey Jonah!) it all changed. I started to get to know other writers, and following back some readers, and found a lovely community! if you follow my personal posts you know i've been struggling with letting go of some friendships that have really hurt me. if you read any of my works you can probably surmize im traumatized af lol so having all these friends here is so lovely.

-cannot STAND anything scented. scented candles, soap, even certain foods (hm? projecting onto characters who?)

-He could change his voice to sound like anything (like with the mannequin wife) they just went with a british accent since it thought it made them sound 'smart and sophisticated'.

-germophobe to the max- always washing his hands, wiping stuff down, etc.. it wears gloves often in order to keep itself clean (and sane)

When you get into the relationship, of course he knows ur age and that you’re a few years older than him, and at first he doesn’t mention it but once ur like just a little bit closer he’s probably gonna poke fun at the fact

Because there’s nothing wrong w u being older it’s just that in all the stereotypical or general movies or shows or books it’s like the older person in the relationship is usually the like stronger or more providing person ends up being the oldest in the relationship and ur not useless in the relationship at all but he’s out there like killing ppl and raking in thousands a day at like 19 😭

If ur walking around in public and someone stares at u for a little longer or one of the ten geniuses is looking at u just casually he’ll get up in their face and b like “whaaat?! Do you know who you’re staring at? That’s your elder over there!! Show some respect!!”

He definitely sends u cringy texts like “how’s my favorite 21 year old 😍😍😍😍” and it’s clearly somewhat condescending but he means it endearingly simultaneously

If u don’t know something that he asks u he’ll raise a brow and go “really? A four year head start and u can’t tell me that 🤨” and it’s all good fun but he’s always gonna say stuff like that

And this is all unprompted, if he knows ur actually kinda like insecure for whatever reason that ur older than him, maybe bc he’s already getting cash like crazy at his age, he’ll either start making fun of u relentlessly OR if ur serious about it he’ll cut it out of course and never mention it again. He might try to make u feel better by being like “don’t worry!! Physically and mentally im probably years older than you 😘” and it doesn’t really make u feel better probably but he kind of tries

PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: Not dealbeakers, but I’m uncomfortable with seeing loads of RL not IC faceclaim posts. It makes me feel like I’m looking at a magazine I have no interest in? I dunno... I don’t know WHY this bothers me but it’s a thing. Blogs that are meant to be RP blogs but only end up posting ooc content, even if it’s related to the character, but not... actually writing anything IC. It just feels like being led on? Uhhh... honestly... seeing any MCU kinda makes me avoid as well. I just know the fandom is hella toxic and I kinda don’t want anything to do with it, I’m also extremely MARVEL’d out. I’m so over seeing it everywhere? It’s not that I don’t like it (I’ve watched most of them and enjoyed them), it’s just... MARVEL fatigue lol. They’re not dealbreakers, and I’m willing to RP, but I might not follow back just to keep my dash clean and comfortable. Obviously any dealbreakers are if you’re just an extremely rude and toxic person. I’m too old, tired and busy to deal with high school crap. Don’t be a cunt is my philosophy. 

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT:  I love all. Honestly, I’m comfortable with writing them all as much as each other. If I was to say one of them was more difficult than the other, I would say mix between fluff and smut ONLY if it’s just not going anywhere else and it feels pointless? I want and need character growth. Sometimes smut can just get repetitive, and sometimes fluff can just get stale, even tho I love slice of life. Angst is definitely my speciality lol. 

PLOTS OR MEMES:  I find memes are a lot easier for ice breakers and for tossing your memes into some strange situations and seeing how they respond to that. But I do want a bigger plot do go ahead from that. I’m a very tired individual with brain fuzz, so sometimes I can’t THINK (which sucks arse because what the hell happened to my creativity? oh right... adult life). So I love memes to start something interesting and plotting following that. Or hey, if you have a plot, I’m happy to take it on board, I’m just a zombie when I get home from work. (: yay aspie exhaustion and immuneo shit. 

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES:  Long. I won’t write with people who only give me 3 sentences. If that’s your style, it’s totally okay, we’re just not compatible. I actually STRUGGLE doing short replies, because I write how my characters feel during said replies. Admittedly, some of my muses don’t use a lot of dialogue and it’s all internal, and that’s the way I can express that to the other writer (even tho I don’t want your character to be a mind reader lol, I’m just expressing them internally). But if I do 4 paras and I get a single one back? Yeah nah... we’re not compatible.  

BEST TIME TO WRITE:  In the morning. Like... just after I’ve gotten up lol. I’m that weirdo. But as the day goes on, the more tired I become. This is also why I struggle to write on work days, because I’m tired af from work, and I have no energy to write afterwards. So on my days off, I try and get as many replies queued as I can in the morning/midday. Generally, I can do some in the arvos on early week days, but my Wed I’m like this ain’t happening.

Now, Hyunjin is kinda tall compared to the rest of SKZ hah im joking of course so it’s pure instinct to want to steal his shirts

2 hr 17 min in : The diner scene. They're both crying. "Happy Christmas, Potter" - which was of course, I love you.

2 hr 20 min in : Poor kid bumps into his mom lol. I found it funny.

On the whole

The movie was nice if you'd read the book beforehand. The first hour was steak, The second hour was Korean BBQ and the rest of the twenty minutes were minced beef. If you get what I mean. Weird analogy. It could have been much better. But it was really very nice in some places. Most places I'd say.

I didn't like how the pop songs ruined the mood of certain moments. I didn't like how you couldn't hear the conversation over the music playing. For example in the engagement party when Platt and Theo talked. Or in the diner scene.

Both Borises killed the accent thing. They tried their best. Cut them some slack.

Oakes deserves an Oscar for holding up this movie on his smol shoulders. I was shook at how a kid could act that well.

Popchik deserved more screen time. I'm still pissed they didn't add the Popchik Boris reunion. But then they couldn't make it chronological, what were we supposed to expect anyway.

Ansel Elgort y'all. Theo sure improved his handwriting lol. Ansel's writing is nice. He was actually good in this movie. Better than he was in The Fault In Our Stars. The internet is just mean. The critics too. I will never understand the hate.

All in all, it could have been a better adaptation but it didn't suck as bad as everyone made it out to be. John Clownery should be punished nonetheless. Special shout-out to Roger Deakins for making it work.

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?:  First of all , ask what they particularly want and if they read the bio . and of course , have their bio as well ( if oc or any relevant hc on vague canons ) . I am honestly a bit shy on the input but if I found a ground to start letting my imagination loose ( like , something in common between characters or something that clicks well with my muse ) I can suggest several things . but in any case , I’m pretty passive and it’s a lot of gives and takes .

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios:  a lot of quincy lore , come up with more personal connections with other quincies , fully develop a backstory and a post war scenario . cultural exploration  --- relationships of all kinds .

Good question! There are a few ways to get me to unfollow someone, though I will admit it’s been a while since I unfollowed someone. Clearly not reading my rules is a good one, along with being on a hiatus or just being away for a long time and never saying so. ♥ What's the WORST thing that has happened to you rp wise?

This is a harder one because I gotta admit, it’s been a few years since it happened and I kinda blocked it out of my head for a hot minute. But I got a message from someone about wanting to RP, and it eventually led to my Discord because they seemed nice enough, you know?

But then they changed the conversation to non-conning my muse. Which let’s be fair, that’s something that happens, muses be like that at times, so I could kind of understand where they were coming from. But the way they were asking to do it made me uncomfortable. Then they started asking about me personally, my life and my sexual interests. This 100% irked me and I swear to the lord that they knew that.

It was when they asked for images of myself that I blocked them. I looked up their URL later to find that they had been called out before for doing such things a couple years prior to them contacting me.

⚜ How many people do you not like?

Now, I certainly couldn’t say an exact number, if you know me from my other blog I’m in too many fandoms and every fandom has it’s people. But I will admit there really are two people in particular that I go to all costs to avoid simply because of seeing what they’ve done to people around me and my own experience.

☄ Have you ever been in the middle of drama?

I hate to say it, but yeah, I’ve been in drama a couple of times. I won’t say what about, or where, but it’s happened. People went through loops via my friends to contact me a few different times over the years over some petty things, and some fandoms seem to be nothing but drama, sadly. But I’ve never been called out, if I was I’ve certainly never heard of it or no one ever told me. It’s kinda why I’m a bit picky with my other fandoms and who I interact with in those series in particular.

☀ What's your rp pet peeve?

I absolutely can’t stand icons that are smaller than 70 x 70, they look like a bunch of tiny, tiny pixels that my blind bat eyes can’t see. 

Also a similar peeve, double small text, along with when words or letters of a word are spelled out over more than one space. I can squint my kiwi eyes to see them if it’s only once or twice, but if it’s all over the reply I’ll go nuts trying to read it.

✂ A fandom that you feel isn't open and accepting?

I’m good, I’m not getting pulled into drama again just because I say a fandom isn’t welcoming. 

But if you go into IMs I might say. I’m just not gonna dare say such things on Tumblr, because they’ve proven previously that they keep an eye on me and I’m not mentally well enough to deal with that.

I will agree though, series like BnHA and Voltron do indeed, seem very uncomfortable just being an outsider and seeing a rare post about the fandom via mutuals.

✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started?

Well, for starters, the updates have really sucked- But I suppose you mean RPC-wise. I started way back in 2013-14. Not as long as other people but still, I’m kinda sorta old. I think that, in general, everything’s grown very constricted. I remember seeing posts of people being open than not being hated on for having opinions. Being able to write more dark content without people crying about it. It’s just gotten... Worse. But this is the only real platform to RP and so we’re all stuck in this hell.

BSD is one of the better fandoms I’ve been in recently. I’m still newer so perhaps I’m not seeing all of the people and such, but I haven’t seen any public posting calling out people when that’s something I usually see in the other fandom’s I’m in once a week to once a month.
