Y'all, Heartstopper was created by Alice Oseman. This is a story about two boys falling in love, their relationship, and the relationships that surround them. There is nothing about this that's queerbaiting. Nick Nelson is cannon confirmed bisexual in the graphic novel, has been for years, something Oseman themself has expressed is very important to her. Nick Nelson is a bisexual character created by an artist/writer who understands the care necessary for such a character, made with producers and other actors that also understand and respect the care that goes into this and all other sexualities/genders/romantic identities involved in the show/novel(s).

You wanna see real queerbaiting? Watch BBC Sherlock that spent part of their actual budget to make fun of their devoted fans and the theories they'd come up with, teased them with "your boyfriend" jokes for 4 seasons, and had the MC almost kiss the main villain and have the most idiotic and mocked character of the show call that idea absolutely insane and below even him.

I need everyone to know that speedsters are allergic to nanobots.

No, seriously. They're allergic to nanobots.

Speedsters have absolutely insane metabolisms, which means that they have an absolutely insane immune system. They don't get sick. Ever. Their immune system works at warp speed and takes out germs the second they enter their body. Call germs 'the Rogues' because they're getting tackled by super speedy blurs before they can even think about causing issues.

Okay, so they have a great immune system and don't get sick ever. What does this have to do with nanobots?

Great question! When nanobots are injected into a speedster's body their immune system sees them as a threat. Only problem? It doesn't matter how fast or efficient their immune system is, their body can't destroy a bunch of tiny metal robots.

Because their bodies can't fight off the nanobots they start to display typical cold/flu symptoms instead. Vomiting, fever, runny nose, coughing, being tired, ect. The nanobots aren't causing this reaction. Their own immune system causes this reaction. The fever is the bodies attempt to kill off the 'germs'. The vomiting, runny nose and coughing is the body's attempt to expel the 'germs'. They feel tired because their body is putting everything into fighting off the 'infection'.

In a normal person the nanobots wouldn't even be an issue because they'd be able to avoid detection. They can't avoid detection in a speedster body because their immune systems are dialled up to 500 out of 10.

As a result you get instances like this:

Just an FYI for people because this is extremely fun and versatile information. Especially because none of the speedsters are really aware of this and it doesn't kick in right away. I could totally see a situation where a mission requires nanobot injections and mid mission the speedster goes down out of nowhere. It's also great if you want to do a stereotypical sick fic or something and want to get around that pesky speedster immunity.

Ugh where do I even begin? Your writing is just… *sounds of heavenly choir.* I was especially pleasantly surprised by the nun fic. I will admit I hesitated to read it for a while as a Catholic (yes idk why I’m on this corner of the internet either) stories that use this premise tend to be blasphemous given the… well premise. But I was blown away with the care and grace the story was handled and the way the mcs relationship with her religion was portrayed. It felt so authentic and so pure and i forgot I was supposed to be reading a raunchy fanfic. I could go on forever about the themes and prose and EVERYTHING but I’m not sure I even have the words to describe the pleasure reading your work brings. Please never stop writing!

Anywho, I was playing this other game, it’s a cute lil dress up and cyoa sim that follows a researcher shipwrecked on a mysterious island with a tribe of cannibals (?) that worship a fire goddess. It’s interesting on it’s own but it also reminded me of some of your writings characterization of König especially after reading your Minotaur fic.

Like I can totally see König foraging for food and professing his undying admiration for a woman who just washed up on the beach. The main LI just screamed Roman and now Minotaur König to me so if you ever decide to write about deserted island König x archeologist Mc who just wants to make sketches of this cool cave art from an ancient civilization she’s researching then go home, I’ll be first in line to read it.

Random memory that just resurfaced. I remember sitting in a small local bus that was traveling for two hours down Northern California, deep in the middle of nowhere, Redwoods area, and I was talking to this young lesbian (maybe nonbinary?) couple from Chicago.

And then at another stop, in steps this guy. Big guy. Red-faced, long scruffy beard, leather jacket, snapback cap with an American flag. I'm a very tall woman and I felt tiny compared to him.

And he spots us, and heads straight towards us in this van of a bus. Walks with purpose, just striding forward with big steps. I see the couple next to me pale a little. They quickly let go of each other's hands.

He sits down on the row of chairs in front of us, turns around to face us, claps his hands on his thighs, and goes "Couldn't help but hear the accents, where are y'all from?"

And he's just this really excited man who wants to make some conversation and loves to hear about my travels, and when I'm done he immediately goes on a full story about his motorbike collection and his old roadtrips.

The couple is a little quiet, but eventually one of them pipes in every now and then. Then they drop that they live together.

The man's eyes go wide. "Wait, you two are..." I see the couple kinda cringe, they're Americans, they've probably been through this more time than I have. I, straight-passing, already kind of square my shoulders, about to make it clear I'm not gonna take shit from him.

But this man, in delight, just gasps. "Like Dykes On Bikes!!!" he all but yells though the bus.

Cue fifteen minutes of him talking about various Dykes on Bikes groups he's encountered and how much he absolutely loves them. It was utterly wonderful.

Meet the big bad of my Superhero AU. Just imagine Titan from Megamind but he was always malicious and controlling to begin with (and he actually has a wife and isn’t a massive incel).

Since I'm still working out this part of the AU, I'll just provide some vague stuff to chew on.

Choclate Bar was just some guy who on one really liked. He didn't really have a good personality either, but he did want to be liked. Somehow, he found out about a powerful piece of alien tech in its testing phase and decided to take it for himself. Long story short, the tech corrupted his mind a ton, leading to him kidnaping some of the scientists (the Gummy Bears and English Muffin) and the alien whose power was in the device (Click). Then, he gaslights a fellow criminal with future vision and mind-reading (Moonstone) into working for him or he'd kill their "close friend" (Diary). Then he helped a failing celebrity (Cracker) back on his feet with artificial super powers and a new fit in exchange for all his monetary gain and loyalty.

Overall, CB’s a manipulative piece of shit who kidnaps and gaslights people lol. What a guy, but his wife's sorta hates him now as a result </3.

He is the boyfailure of all time I'm sure nothing bad happens to him ever. Also the lyrics are from Will Wood's 2econd 2ight 2eer (that was fun, goodbye.). It's a great song please listen to it, it's basically his whole character.
