I hate Cersei so much as a Jaimie girlie. She has fucked him up (not to say that he would have grown up to be a completely well adjusted person without her, he is a Lannister)

lol the twins and their relationship had terrible effects on both parties (u can argue not to the same extent or in the same way). the relationship is meant to be something extremely destructive. there are a lot nuances to their power dynamic. and it started before a point where either could grasp what they were really doing (before they even sexually developed) and developed in the context of the rot and neglect of the lannister familia like a disease, compounded by the violence of westerosi gender constructs. and i wont lie cersei became an abusive party and the relationship had putrid effects on jaime, but i find her an extremely well written and entertaining character who is also a sympathetic character. and jaime does have agency. he has severe codependence and i understand why it developed and worsened and i find it sympathetic, but i am not about to put the blame on cersei here. his disillusionment, cynicism, and despair that affected his morality and relationship to a lot of things is more rooted in the trauma of the aerys situation and its consequences. and he has his destructive coping mechanisms. he was also not coerced into doing all that he did. also i just love the twins’ dynamic 🤷. i find it very rich. i love cers
