One thing I’ve learned through my years of consuming live theatre and bootlegs of live theatre is that you can almost always tell when someone used to be a Newsie.

They always have this like indescribable quality about how they move even compared to other incredibly well trained dancers. I think it’s just because Newsies is such an insane, other level caliber of dance that it just brings them to another quality of movement.

I don’t know how to describe it. I just know that whenever I watch something the Newsie always stands out.

So recently got a request in my DMs for 🥺 & ❤️‍🩹 for Killian so here we go! (Just an FYI if you have a request, just leave it in my ask box plz)

🥺- So chances are this privileged white boy said or did something that offended you without even knowing how hurtful it was. As much as we love the guy, he was born & raised in probably the most socially sheltered environment there is, (not to mention his family LITERALLY makes their fortune breeding, selling, and fighting halfbloods.) and even though he’s doing better at not being a total monster, Killian certainly has some racial and socioeconomic blind spots. That paired with the fact that baby boy does NOT like being corrected makes for few heated situations. Anyhow, I think it would probably start with an offhanded comment towards you or Smoke. At first you think “Surely he just kidding right? It was just one time.” But then it happens again…and again. Eventually though, he starts to notice how grumpy/uncomfortable you are. When he finally does ask you and you tell him what’s going on though, his response is something along the lines of “That’s it? It was just a joke, get over it.” Partially because this is a learned behavior he got from having his own feeling ignored as a child, and partially because he legitimately doesn’t understand how much he fucked up. This. Ticks. You. OFF! The two of you end up getting into an argument and it ends with you giving Killi the cold shoulder. For a while he plays along. You think you can out-petty Killian Thayne!? Puh-lease! But soon it gets lonely without a friend to talk to, without a constant companion that’s not just a servant. So Killian does the only thing he knows how to do when things aren’t going his way…THROW MONEY AT THE PROBLEM! Over and over he tries to “apologize” by giving you gift after gift. Jewelry, clothes, chocolates, you name it! But again and again, you refuse. (Much to Killian’s surprise.) It’s not until both of you are calm enough to stop fighting and start talking, that the two of you can make up. Killian has to come to terms with the fact that he was wrong, and rather than addressing the issue he opted to try and pacify you. It takes a while for him to realize, and you certainly don’t forgive things immediately, but in the end, you two grow closer because of it.

❤️‍🩹- We all know Killian’s love language is gift-giving, (and words of affirmation cuz dude likes having his ego stroked.) but aside from the fact that as far as we know halfbloods aren’t allowed to have money, what do even get the man that already has everything!? Love. That’s what you get him. Now don’t get me wrong, Killian doesn’t care for physical touch most of the time… most of the time. But one night he returns to his dorm room pissed. After venting, and complaining, and insulting whoever it is that got his panties in a knot, he flops over on his bed and the exhaustion sinks in. You give him a few minutes to decompress before quietly approaching him and offer a hug. At first he doesn’t know what to do, he might even crack a lewd joke to try and lighten the mood. But you still hold him, and a few seconds later, he wordlessly returns the gesture.

Hamilton was AMAZING and there was an original cast member THAYNE JASPERSON. It was the best out of all of the 2 shows I've seen. The gift shop thing upstairs only took card which was strange and I didn't get the things I wanted but oh well. I got the key chain and pin and they look great.

The people in NYC were kind of dicks but it was still really fun. Had to run to catch up with the group leader and slammed my friends knee into the big metal things on the sidewalk while hipchecking a churro stand on accident.
