the one thing that annoys me about older unsolved murder / disappearance cases is that, if they were done during today's society, they would have most likely been solved by now. it's annoying not knowing who did what.

Pacios knew Elizabeth Short when she was a child and recounts stories of her in this 1999 book. I love how it focuses on who Beth was and her happy memories. It’s nice to see accounts of her from the perspective of a little girl (Pacios) too- I think as young girls we all had that one older girl we knew in our lives that we looked up to.
