His confession hangs in the air, heavy and flaming like the wisps of Hell lapping at their heels and everything comes to a halt when he creaks out, "wait!" Charles stills. The air around them, too. "Oh— shit, I mean— sorry!" And Edwin is in a desperate need for another breath but his lungs are too full, pleurae stretched to their capacities. He shakes his head quickly, almost throwing them off-balance, down the staircase, to where the demon spider-doll's mantles are steadily dripping with Edwin's real blood, to certain fucking doom. And then, hysterically, I wasn't ready. I don't look nice. My mouth tastes like blood. I've been crying— "No, you misunderstand, I want this— I want you. I am merely—"

What a terrible time for Charles, to not understand what he's trying to say at all.

My Feemor proposal

A popular headcanon for Feemor is that he's a Jedi Shadow. Shadows are spies and basically detectives. Feemor's lineage has a reputation for being eccentric, infamous, and finding trouble everywhere they go. So, walk with me here, Feemor's an eccentric, famous, blonde detective.

something I just noticed on like my millionth rewatch: when Niko confronts Maxine about being Jenny’s stalker ‘secret admirer’ in ep 5, Maxine is wearing tiny meat-cleaver earrings (I think, I can’t get a good screenshot so you may just have to take my word for it). I love this show so much, it’s so good with little details like this!

The Cat King didn’t forget to count himself. Edwin was always going to be wrong. If Edwin comes up with the number 146 the Cat King could say that Edwin forgot to count him, if 147 he can claim that he’s much more than just a cat and can’t be counted. Either way he could make Edwin be incorrect if he wanted to, and thus stretch the game out just a little longer.

When Edwin says the Cat King wouldn’t give him a punishment that was so easy because the Cat King is a trickster, he was entirely correct. The trick was never in the counting the cats part. The trick was in manipulating the answer to suit his purposes.

Everytime I rewatch this show I get more entranced by Charles's mini reactions and small facial movements that hint at his true feelings about every situation. And then we had episode four. And it all switched so accordingly afterwards. I mean Jayden !!!! Someone gives this boy an award or more...
